Chapter 156 - Chapter 175: The Sovereign Archive and the Infinite Backup

The transition from the architectural triumph of Tanalorr back to the soot-stained, bureaucratic spires of Coruscant was a localized sociological whiplash that Revan Shan met with a high-collared academic duster, a fresh thermos of Naboo-spice caf, and a very particular brand of 12th-Doctor-esque investigative grumpiness. As 33 BBY etched its rhythmic path into the galactic ledger, the "Prodigal Knight" decided that if the Order was determined to sail into a storm, they should at least have a backup of the navigation charts.

Revan sat in his Sovereign's Command Chair in the deepest sub-level of the Jedi Archives. Biologically, he was now 122 years old, a staggering variable of longevity maintained by his Force Immortality, but the face reflected in the blue glow of the data-terminals remained a sharp, cheeky twenty-three.

"You see, Cortana," Revan murmured, his voice a dry, rhythmic rasp. "The Jedi are remarkably tidy with their rules, but they are 100% untidy with their redundancies. According to my 10th Doctorate in Galactic History, every great civilization falls because it forgets to save its progress. I'm not letting the 1% shadow delete the collective memory of the 96%."

The Project: The Infinite Holocron Audit

The year 33 BBY was defined by the "Great Data Extraction." While the galaxy hummed with the early financial machinations of Hego Damask (Darth Plagueis) and the rising political profile of Senator Palpatine, Revan spent his nights conducting a high-fidelity audit of the Jedi's entire knowledge base.

He wasn't working alone. He had the ultimate data-slicing team:

* R2-D6: Utilizing his Kyber-Quantum Slicing core to bypass 1,000-year-old firewalls.

* Miner (M1-NR): Categorizing the data into a rhythmic hierarchy of history and tech.

* Cortana: Processing the massive bandwidth of information and weeding out duplicate variables.

The destination for this data was a masterpiece of Revan's own design: a Modified Jedi Holocron constructed from a fusion of Beskar, Phrik, and purified Kyber-focal crystals.

> The Data Compression Constant (\Omega_{dc}):

> By his internal audit, Revan utilized Mechu-deru to fold the digital information into the lattice structure of the Kyber crystals themselves. It was an 'Unlimited Storage' variable—a holocron that could hold the sum total of Republic history without a localized thermodynamic stutter.

The Backup Ledger (33 BBY Inventory):

* Tactical History: Every documented fleet battle and planetary siege from the High Republic to the Sith Wars.

* Cartography: 100% of known hyperspace lanes, plus the secret "Wild Space" paths recovered from Rakatan crystals.

* Combat Arts: Forms I through VII, including the emerging Vaapad data and ancient Jidai techniques.

* The List: A comprehensive directory of every Force-sensitive individual logged by the Temple.

* Lost Tech: Schematics for Rakatan foundries, ancient medical droids, and ion-propulsion systems.

The Secret Sharers: Yoda and Yaddle

Revan didn't do this behind the Order's back—not entirely. He met with Grandmaster Yoda and Master Yaddle in the Room of a Thousand Fountains during their morning "Hammock Sabbatical."

"Master Yoda," Revan sassed, not opening his eyes as Calculus purred on his chest. "According to my 5th Doctorate in Galactic Lore & Ethics, a secret is only a burden if you don't have a backup. I'm backing up the house. Every book, every map, every secret."

Yoda let out a low, resonant grunt, popping a lemon candy. "A storm, I feel. Darker, the clouds become. A lifeboat, you build? Hmmm."

"Not a lifeboat, Yoda. A memory," Revan noted, his voice dropping into the 12th Doctor's weary kindness. "If the shadow wins the next round—and the math says it's likely—I want to ensure the 96% don't have to start from scratch. Try to be nice to the archives, but let me be the one who's kind to the future."

Yaddle nodded, her eyes twinkling with a rhythmic understanding. "Work, you must. Silence, we shall provide."

The Temple Routine: Stories and Stealth

By day, Revan maintained the "Maverick Standard." He told stories to the younglings about the "Madman in the Blue Box," teaching them that a screwdriver is often more important than a blade.

When the academic weight became too much, he initiated his "Rotational Flight Protocol." He would take a youngling—this week, a small, wide-eyed Rodian initiate—up in the Star-Sass.

"Stealth on, Eleven," Revan commanded.

The X-Wing vanished from Coruscant's sensors as they screamed through the skyscraper canyons. Revan pushed the engines to 2700 KPH, performing high-G "Snap-Rolls" around the Senate spires.

"Master! We're ghosts!" the Rodian squealed.

"Better than ghosts, little one," Revan laughed. "We're an un-audited variable! Adventure is the journey, and the journey is better when the 1% can't find you!"

The Financial Audit: Monitoring the Shadow

Every morning before the first latte, Revan checked his gauntlet for the Maverick Trust updates.

"Status on the short positions, Cortana," he whispered.

"The Naboo Plasma Short is currently holding at a 4% profit margin. The Trade Federation shipping stocks are beginning to vibrate," Cortana reported. "Hego Damask has moved 400 million credits through shell accounts in the last quarter. He is 100% targeting the Outer Rim trade routes."

Revan smiled, a cold, sharp 11th-Doctor-grin. He knew Plagueis was a genius of debt, but Revan had a 15.8 Billion Credit wall and 100x leverage.

"Palpatine?" Revan asked.

"Senator Palpatine is 49 years old," Cortana noted. "He has been training under Damask for 27 years. His 'Kindness Deficit' is now statistically immeasurable. He is currently auditing the security protocols of the Naboo Royal Palace."

"Let him audit," Revan yawned. "I've already backed up the library he's standing in."

The Sovereign's Nap: End of 33 BBY

The year concluded with Revan slumped in his Sovereign's Command Chair in the Archives. The "Infinite Holocron" was 100% complete, glowing with a soft, cyan light on the console beside him. Calculus was asleep on his lap, and Theorem was industriously auditing the structural integrity of a nearby data-tablet.

"Status, Cortana," Revan whispered.

"The Archive Backup is secure. Tanalorr is 100% operational. The Maverick Trust is stable," Cortana reported. "And Master... I've flagged a rhythmic pulse from Naboo. The trade dispute is escalating. The 'Phantom' variable is about to become a reality."

"32 BBY," Revan murmured, the chair reclining to the Calculated Nap Angle of 134.5 degrees. "The year the music starts. Adventure is the journey, D6. And 33 BBY was a masterpiece of data-entry and secret handshakes. Try to be nice, 32 BBY. I have a planet to save and a short position to collect."

He closed his eyes. The Maverick was 122, the books were balanced, and the Auditor was finally ready for the Sith to make their first move.
