Chapter 132 - One Hundred and Thirty One: The Beginning of the Journey

The skies above still carried faint fractures from the spreading primordial influence, and every spirit within the sanctuary could feel the tension crawling beneath the currents of the realms.

Yet for the first time in days, Luke sat alone beneath the silver trees without training.

No combat.

No lessons.

No alarms.

Only silence.

The seven-year-old rested near the floating rivers with his knees drawn to his chest while tiny streams of golden light drifted lazily around his fingers.

The Heart of Creation.

The name refused to leave his mind.

A hidden source of Balance older than Heaven and Hell themselves.

Lost before the First War.

And somehow… connected to him.

Luke looked down at his glowing hands quietly.

"Why me?" he whispered softly to himself.

The wind stirred gently through the silver leaves above him.

Then a familiar warm voice answered behind him.

"Your mother used to ask the same question."

Luke turned immediately.

Celestia's mother approached slowly, carrying a soft warmth that always made the sanctuary feel less frightening somehow. Her silver robes shimmered faintly beneath the moonlight as she sat beside him quietly.

Luke leaned slightly against her without thinking.

She smiled softly.

"You've been carrying too much fear inside your heart lately."

Luke stared toward the rivers again.

"What if I can't do it?"

"Do what?"

"Save everyone."

The words came out smaller than he intended.

Celestia's mother gently brushed his hair back.

"Luke… the Balance did not choose you because you are perfect."

He looked up slowly.

"It chose you because your heart still cares even when you're afraid."

Luke's chest tightened quietly.

"She cared like that too, didn't she?" he asked softly.

A bittersweet smile crossed her face immediately.

"Yes."

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then Luke quietly asked the question that had lingered in him for years.

"What was my mum really like?"

The older woman looked toward the stars above them, emotion flickering softly in her eyes.

"Celestia was light," she whispered. "Not because she was flawless… but because she brought warmth wherever she went."

Luke listened carefully.

"She laughed loudly. Argued constantly. Protected everyone even when she was hurting herself."

A soft laugh escaped her.

"And she was unbelievably stubborn."

Luke smiled slightly.

"Dad says that too."

"That means it's true."

Both of them laughed quietly together.

But then her expression softened deeply.

"When she held you for the first time…" she whispered, "she cried."

Luke blinked.

"She said you felt familiar somehow. Like destiny and peace had touched her at the same time."

Luke looked down silently as warmth spread through his chest.

"She loved you before she even saw your face."

The boy swallowed hard.

For the first time in years… the emptiness surrounding his mother's memory hurt a little less.

Later that evening, the central crystal temple filled with ancient energy as the Father of All gathered everyone together.

Lucien stood near the massive crystal windows while the Spirit Guide rested beside him, unusually tense. Neutral guardian spirits lined the outer chamber silently.

At the center floated glowing pages from the All Father's Book of Guidance.

Luke entered quietly beside his grandmother.

The Father of All looked toward him immediately.

"It is time you learned the truth about the Heart of Creation."

The chamber darkened slightly as ancient images formed in the air around them.

Luke watched in awe as visions appeared, vast cosmic oceans, endless streams of golden energy, and massive celestial architects shaping reality itself.

"The Heart of Creation," the Father of All began, "was the first source of true Balance ever formed."

The glowing vision shifted.

Luke saw ancient beings weaving laws into existence itself while a massive golden core floated above them like a living sun.

"It stabilized creation during the age of chaos," the Father of All continued. "Without it, realms would never have survived long enough to evolve."

Lucien folded his arms.

"Then why was it hidden?"

The visions darkened instantly.

Luke saw war.

Not ordinary war.

Entire stars collapsing.

Celestial kingdoms burning.

Primordial shadows devouring worlds whole.

"Because everyone wanted control of it," the Spirit Guide answered quietly. "Celestials. Infernal rulers. Ancient kings. Even the Primordials sought its power."

The Father of All nodded grimly.

"So the architects hid it beyond the reach of all realms."

Luke stared at the floating images carefully.

"But if nobody could find it…" he asked slowly, "how do we?"

The entire chamber became silent.

Then the Father of All looked directly at him.

"Because the Heart is alive."

Luke froze slightly.

"It chooses who may approach it," the ancient being continued. "And for reasons we still do not fully understand…"

The glowing visions shifted again.

This time Luke saw Celestia.

His breath caught instantly.

She stood surrounded by golden light, smiling softly while ancient currents flowed around her.

Luke stepped forward unconsciously.

"Mum…"

The Father of All's expression darkened with emotion.

"We believe Celestia unknowingly carried a fragment of the Heart's resonance within her soul."

Lucien's eyes widened slightly.

"What?"

The Spirit Guide slowly nodded.

That would explain why Luke's Balance awakened so unusually fast…

Luke stared at the vision of his mother, heart pounding.

"She was connected to it…" he whispered.

"Yes," the Father of All answered softly. "And now… so are you."

The chamber fell silent once more.

Then suddenly...

BOOM.

The crystal temple shook violently.

Ancient alarms echoed throughout the sanctuary again.

A neutral guardian spirit rushed into the chamber urgently.

"The northern sanctuary has fallen!"

Everyone turned sharply.

"The primordial distortions consumed the outer barriers," the spirit continued fearfully. "Entire regions are collapsing into corrupted void currents!"

Lucien cursed immediately.

The Spirit Guide rose to full height, wings spreading.

The Father of All closed the floating book slowly.

"There is no more time."

Luke looked between them anxiously.

"What do we do now?"

The ancient being stepped toward him.

Now his voice carried not only power… but purpose.

"We begin the journey to find the Heart of Creation."

The room fell silent.

Lucien immediately spoke.

"He's not going alone."

"I know," the Father of All answered calmly.

The Spirit Guide lowered its massive head beside Luke.

Neither am I.

Celestia's mother stepped forward next.

"Then we move together."

Luke looked around the chamber slowly—his father, his grandmother, the Spirit Guide, the ancient guardians surrounding them.

For the first time since hearing the prophecy…

He no longer felt alone beneath its weight.

And high above the sanctuary, beyond fractured stars and trembling realms…

A distant golden light pulsed softly in the darkness.

As if something ancient had finally awakened…

And was waiting for him.
