Stephanie's POV
The world seemed to stop black hair and eyes of beauty. A face paler than snow, cheeks and lips flushed as if stained in the juices of the freshest cherries. The silence grew louder as the two silhouettes blurred from my vision.
"Do you see it? He doesn't love you." Her voice once again whispered in my ears.
I didn't need further confirmation. It was what I forgot to account for. A playboy like him can get anyone. I shouldn't be sad, this is the best outcome I could ever get. My one-sided, fleeting feelings were finally coming to an end. I turned and left before I could see whatever went on between them further. They deserved privacy.
