It was just the two of them in the car. The sight was strange for Lenette; she was used to seeing K in the driver's seat from the view of the backseat. However, as they drove through into the city, she could not shake of the weird feeling of seeing Caesar being the wheel or her being in the passenger seat. Of course, none of this should have been a big deal, but ever since she started thinking about how she could never return to her life, she had been feeling a massive wave of nostalgia, she found herself thinking back to the most random moments in her old life. Like that time, she went for a drive with the guy she was with at the time, the scene seemed to resemble this one for a moment in her mind.
The car came to a stop in a parking lot that sat a mini walk away from the line of different stores and restaurants. He got out of the car and she followed after him, even as he walked into a boutique.
