Momo-Boruto calmly explained, "For pure Ōtsutsuki, once a power has awakened, it doesn't disappear."
"It is inherited through the Kāma. As the Kāma extracts, the formulas that construct these abilities are engraved within these markings."
He clenched his hand slightly. "Of course, without the original eye manifesting, the power is somewhat diminished. But against inferior lifeforms… it's more than enough."
Akira nodded appreciatively. "Convenient."
Momo-Boruto lifted his gaze. In an instant, the Jōgan saw through the surrounding mist, locking onto Boro's regeneration core—currently located in his right waist.

Purple lightning crackled around his body.

Momo-Boruto glanced down at the heart-sized regeneration core in his hand and said coldly, "Pathetic imitation of our clan's power."
"Honestly, it doesn't even look as refined as that little device this brat used to wear on his wrist."
His fingers tightened.
Crack!
The core shattered into fragments.
"AAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Boro screamed.
The core wasn't just his source of regeneration—it also regulated the balance of all the scientific ninja tools within his body.
With it destroyed, his body spiraled out of control.
His already bloated frame began to swell grotesquely. His hair and beard grew wildly. His legs transformed into six massive tentacles, turning him into something like a monstrous octopus with a human face.

Momo-Boruto sneered. "Go on. Keep talking. 'Inferior,' 'not as good as'—I'm listening."
Driven by survival instinct, Boro trembled and begged, "I-I didn't mean it! Please, for the sake of Lord Isshiki—spare me, Momoshiki-sama!"
Momo-Boruto chuckled faintly.
His gaze flicked upward to a hovering surveillance drone, then returned.
"Didn't Isshiki tell you? Inferior creatures without our clan's power cannot consume chakra fruits."
"Even if you force it… you'll only die."
"What!?" The revelation exploded across Kara's base.
"Jigen! Is that true!?"
Jigen remained calm, unshaken.
Momoshiki… so you've chosen to side with Uchiha Akira and expose me.
Interesting.
He spoke calmly. "Everyone, remain calm. I'll explain later."
But Boro… completely broke down.
Like Deepa, like Victor before him—he had devoted himself to Kara for one reason:
The promise of immortality through the chakra fruit.
"That… was a lie…? Then Kara's purpose… was a lie too!?"
"Isshiki… you used us as nothing more than pawns!?"
Tears and mucus streamed down his face.

The Jōgan flickered—and vanished.
The horn receded. The blue Kāma markings withdrew back into Boruto's palm.
Boruto's body fell from the sky.
As Momoshiki slipped into deep slumber, his final thoughts echoed—
To think… in the five hundred years since we last met… you've grown this strong.
As expected of the one ranked second among the Ten Gods… your power has completely surpassed Isshiki.
You aim to surpass even Lord Ryūshiki… that bold claim you once made was no empty boast.
