Boom!
The enormous black-purple oarfish created by Ama no Sumeragi: Ryūgū—along with the massive crimson chakra sphere it carried—was shredded apart by the Kamui-enhanced black wooden spikes.
The remaining force of the Kamui impalements twisted off Urashiki's clawed legs.
With both arms and legs gone and his chakra completely exhausted, Urashiki fell helplessly into the desert sand.
Obito walked forward and drove several Six Paths black rods into his body, sealing all of his chakra points.
Looking at the right shoulder that continued bleeding due to the missing soul fragment, Obito thoughtfully pulled out his Six Paths Yang staff.
He reverted it into a Truth-Seeking Orb and pressed it into the wound, sealing the gap with the most brutal physical method possible.
"Urashiki… at least survive until you meet Akira."
Urashiki laughed miserably.
"Hahahaha… so this is my fate… Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, destined to fall into the mortal world after all!"
"But don't celebrate too early, Uchiha Obito!"
"At your current level, you cannot leave this desert dimension by yourself!"
"By the time Uchiha Akira finds this place, I'll already be dead!"
"You'll never report back perfectly!"
Urashiki had run out of options.
The only thing he could do now was hope that his own death would ruin Akira's plans.
Obito nodded slightly.
"That part is true."
Previously, Obito had traveled between worlds only with Akira's assistance.
Kamui alone could not cross the massive dimensional distance back to the ninja world.
(When he arrived earlier, he had resonated with Urashiki's Yomotsu Hirasaka, borrowing its power.)
"But whether I can return or not… isn't something you need to worry about."
With Kamui, Obito dumped Urashiki into his dimension.
He then sealed the holes in his neck using wooden bindings.
Afterward, he released Kaze from Kamui space.
Kaze had actually awakened three minutes earlier.
He was rubbing the Kāma mark on his chin, testing its sensation.
Obito asked gently,
"How do you feel? Anything strange with your body?"
"No. Aside from the Kāma… everything feels normal."
"That's good."
Both Obito and Kaze were still shaken.
Urashiki's earlier ability—Ama no Tekemikoto—had been nearly impossible to counter.
If Urashiki had simply chosen to kill Kaze during the first grab instead of pursuing reincarnation…
Akira and Obito would have had no choice but to accept that loss.
"Uncle Obito… is Urashiki defeated?"
"Yes. It's over."
Kaze let out a long breath of relief.
This battle with an Ōtsutsuki had forced enormous growth on the twelve-year-old boy.
"So… are we going back now?"
Obito shook his head.
"Unfortunately, we can't return immediately. My Kamui alone cannot cross back to the ninja world from here."
"Then what do we do?"
"I have an idea. Let's try it first."
"If it doesn't work… we'll just wait for Akira to come find us."
Obito wasn't worried.
If they didn't return for too long, Akira would eventually deduce they fought Urashiki in another dimension and search for them with his Rinnegan.
Still—Obito preferred not to trouble him unnecessarily.
He pulled out Urashiki's fishing rod and gourd.
"Kaze. Now that you have Urashiki's Kāma, you should be able to use these tools."
"I'll try."
Kaze attached the gourd to his waist and picked up the fishing rod.
Immediately, the Kāma on his chin resonated, forming a small geometric pattern.
He swung the rod experimentally.
"Yeah… it should work."
Obito smiled.
"Good."
"Now attack me."
"…Huh?"
Kaze blinked.
"You're serious?"
"Don't worry. I'm an Edo Tensei body."
"Even if my chakra gets stolen, it will regenerate instantly."
"…Alright."
Kaze stepped back.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
Memories surfaced—
When Akira used to take him fishing as a child.
Akira guiding his small hands while casting a line.
Kaze imagined something else now.
That's not Uncle Obito.
That's… a fish.
With eyes closed, he swung the rod.
The crimson line drew a perfect arc through the air—
The hook pierced directly into Obito's chest.
Kaze asked nervously,
"Are you okay… Uncle Fish—uh, Uncle Obito?"
"I'm fine."
Obito felt the strange sensation.
His chakra felt like a heart inside his body being gripped by an invisible hand.
The hook precisely extracted the chakra tied to my core abilities.
No wonder it's an Ōtsutsuki weapon.
"Pull the line."
"Got it!"
Kaze clenched his teeth and yanked the rod.
Whoosh!
A massive blue chakra flame was ripped from Obito's chest.
Obito staggered forward as his Edo Tensei body cracked apart like dry clay.
Kaze panicked.
"You're not hurt, right?"
"I'm fine."
As Obito's chakra regenerated, the cracks disappeared.
Kaze stared at the enormous chakra sphere in his hands.
"I-It's huge… such dense chakra!"
Obito nodded.
"Kaze. You're smart."
"You already know what to do next, right?"
Kaze thought for a moment.
Then his eyes lit up.
"You want me to use this chakra to activate Kamui… like Urashiki did with stolen techniques?"
"Exactly."
"Urashiki already proved it."
"With the fishing technique, the user can use the stolen chakra to activate Mangekyō-level abilities beyond normal limits."
Kaze looked nervous.
"I'm not Urashiki… I might not be able to overuse it like him."
"You don't need to."
"Even a normal activation is enough."
"When two Kamui eyes activate together, the resonance becomes greater than 2 + 2."
"It should tear open the dimensional barrier."
"…Alright. I'll try."
Kaze gripped the massive chakra sphere.
Instantly, the chakra surged through his body like burning mustard reaching his brain.
His body trembled.
And—
Mangekyō patterns appeared in his eyes.
"T-This is…!"
Obito nodded proudly.
"Good."
"Very good."
"You really can do it."
Kaze said awkwardly,
"But I can't use my own eye techniques in this state… I'm still too weak."
Obito silently reflected.
In the future… the abilities of the Edo Tensei warriors in Peach Garden may also become useful.
The gap Akira couldn't fill with Twin Blossoms… might be filled through Urashiki's fishing ability.
Kaze will become indispensable if he keeps growing.
"Alright."
"Match my rhythm."
"We'll tear this damn place open together!"
"Got it!"
Both pairs of Kamui Mangekyō ignited.
— Kamui: Four-Image Resonance!
Whoosh—
Land of Lightning — Kumogakure Gorge
The once-mighty Valley of Clouds and Lightning had become ruins.
Madara held Killer Bee by the throat.
"This time… you're not escaping."
Inside Bee's mind, Gyūki roared anxiously.
"Bee! Snap out of it! Damn it—how did things end up like this!?"
Akira summoned the Gedo Statue.
Chains shot forward, pulling the Eight-Tails from Bee's body.
As Gyūki attempted his usual trick of leaving behind a tail to keep Bee alive—
Akira added another chain and dragged the tail out as well.
After sealing the Eight-Tails, Akira reversed time with Danmetsu Chantī and Yomotsu Flow, recreating the beast outside the statue.
Then—
a Time-Killing Spear froze it into temporal stasis.
Akira walked through the fading frost and stopped beside the dying Bee.
He placed his hand on Bee's chest.
Madara asked,
"What are you doing?"
"Cutting the fatal causality of tailed-beast extraction."
Another option would have been resealing the recreated Eight-Tails back into Bee.
But—
"That privilege belongs to Naruto."
Akira spoke calmly.
"Killer Bee… your strength can no longer keep up with this era."
"Keeping the Eight-Tails with you would only waste it."
"Letting you live is already the greatest mercy I can offer."
The Eight-Tails hunt was complete.
Akira turned toward the Gedo Statue.
"Now… only the Nine-Tails remains."
Night clouds drifted across the sky.
A flock of autumn swallows flew overhead.
From within them—
a small black object suddenly dove toward Akira.
Akira caught it between two fingers.
It was a mechanical messenger bird.
He removed the scroll from its back.
After reading the single line written on it—
Akira smiled faintly.
"The needle I planted fifteen years ago…"
"…is finally about to take effect."
