In the next second, his face twisted into a mask of agony.
"What is this feeling!? How can a mere severed wrist hurt so much that I'm breaking into cold sweat all over!? How is this possible…!?"
Kaze's face was drenched in sweat, yet he still smiled.
"Having your soul cut apart hurts a lot. The pain will paralyze your entire body."
"Soul… you said soul!?"
"That's right. The soul of your right hand has been cut away. It can't regenerate anymore."
"What kind of joke is that!?"
Urashiki roared in fury and smashed his left elbow toward Kaze's head—only to strike something as hard as diamond.
— Amaterakishi!
A golden glow enveloped Kaze.
In that instant, he wrapped both arms tightly around Urashiki's waist and slammed backward toward the rear wall of the Susanoo cockpit.
At that moment, Kaze was invincible—unstoppable.
Nothing could block his movement.
Urashiki, however, was still flesh and blood.
The violent collision between his body and the Susanoo armor crushed his bones with unbearable pressure.
"Ugh—!"
Crack!
The back of the Susanoo cockpit shattered.
Kaze dragged Urashiki out of it as if jumping off a cliff.
The moment the golden glow vanished and he disengaged, Kaze's left hand flashed.
He snatched the crimson fishing gourd from Urashiki's waist.
"You little brat—I'LL KILL YOU!"
Urashiki's eyes bulged with fury.
The sand beneath them erupted violently, rushing upward to tear the defenseless Kaze apart.
But at that exact moment—
Space twisted.
Kamui.
Obito had arrived with perfect timing.
It was support for a junior who had just earned his respect.
— Chiyo Sokubime!
A crimson paper crane flashed.
Urashiki had no choice but to escape the incoming decapitation Kamui.
Kaze collapsed onto the scorching sand, breathing heavily.
"Haah… haah…"
He said apologetically,
"Uncle Obito… I'm sorry. Using my dōjutsu repeatedly in this heat… I can't keep going. I probably won't be able to help anymore…"
Obito spoke sincerely.
"Kaze, using three dōjutsu and disabling one of his arms while taking two of his fishing tools… that's already an incredible achievement."

"Leave the rest to your Uncle Obito."
He placed a hand on Kaze's shoulder.
Both Kaze and the captured spoils—the fishing rod, the gourd, and Urashiki's severed arm—were sucked into Kamui space.
Then Obito looked toward the northwest desert.
"…Now I should be seeing that soon."
Northwest desert.
Urashiki sat miserably on the scorching sand.
He had already consumed one of his stored chakra pills. The internal injuries from smashing into Susanoo had healed.
But when he looked at his bleeding wrist, his face turned ugly.
"Forget healing… I can't even stop the bleeding."
"That brat was telling the truth. The soul of this arm has been cut away."
"Damn it…"
"At this rate I won't last three days. I'll bleed to death within half a day!"
"And when I die, my soul will completely vanish!"
(If an Ōtsutsuki dies after forced resurrection without finding a vessel, their soul disappears entirely. Isshiki died that way in the original timeline.)
Urashiki's mind raced.
"So… is there really no way out?"
"Do I really have to obediently follow Uchiha Akira's plan and place my Kāma on that brat?"
Suddenly his thoughts shifted.

"That might not be so bad."
"That brat's dōjutsu and talent are worthy of becoming my vessel."
"If I resurrect through him, my full power may even surpass before."
"But placing my Kāma on him doesn't mean becoming Akira's puppet!"
"I could simply run away with that brat's body!"

In the original timeline, Urashiki also devoured his fishing rod and gourd to complete the transformation.
But now he had lost them.
His dark eyes burned with madness.
He grabbed his right shoulder.
"That arm is already useless anyway."
"The soul below the wrist is gone."
"So I might as well discard it!"
Crack!
He tore off the entire arm and turned it into a chakra pill with Sacrificial Alchemy.
Then swallowed it.
BOOM!
Terrifying heat burst from every pore of his body.
At that moment—
Space twisted.
Obito appeared nearby.
A natural sandstorm roared across the desert.

A forest burst from the sand, shielding him from the storm.
Through the swaying trees, he looked up.
Urashiki had transformed.

Black markings covered his face.
His legs had become talons.
His arms had turned into massive wings—
except the right one was missing.
Blood continued to drip from the torn shoulder.
Obito muttered.
"So… that's Urashiki's transformed form."
"…I thought I was mentally prepared, but my eyes are practically crying."
"What an unbelievably ugly form…"
He shook his head.
"No laughing, Obito. Don't laugh. Rin is watching."
Suddenly Urashiki spoke.
"Where's the brat?"
"In my Kamui space."
"Bring him out."
"And then?"
"So I can place the Kāma on him."
"Isn't that exactly what you people wanted?"
Obito narrowed his eyes.
What was he planning?
If Urashiki took Kaze hostage, or tried to kill him—
that would be a problem.
"You think the world revolves around you?"
"You say leave it, we leave it?"
"You say place it, we place it?"
Urashiki scoffed.
"If you won't bring him out, I'll get him myself."
He raised his wing.
From beneath the feathers—
a pale hand extended.
"I didn't expect to awaken this ability the moment I transformed."
"Perhaps being pushed to the brink awakened my clan's true bloodline."
He reached forward and activated the golden Rinnegan.
— Ama no Tekemikoto!
In the next instant—
Kaze suddenly appeared in front of Urashiki's hand.
"…Huh?"
Urashiki grabbed his throat instantly.
The Kāma mark formed.
A diamond-shaped seal appeared on Kaze's chin.
He immediately lost consciousness.
Urashiki tossed the unconscious boy toward Obito.
"For now the brat is useless to both of us."
"Put him away again."
Obito stared in shock.
"…What was that?"
"He pulled someone out of another dimension?"
"Kaguya could do something similar with her portals…"
"But Urashiki just grabbed the air!"
He took a deep breath.
Calm returned.
"So the golden Rinnegan on your forehead…"
"Like Momoshiki's…"
"It holds a unique ability."
Obito sent Kaze back into Kamui space.
Then looked up again.
"But you didn't use it immediately."
"You tried negotiating first."
"That means the technique isn't something you can casually use."
"Either it has risks… or limits."
"Or both."
Urashiki's eyes narrowed.
Obito smiled faintly.
"…Looks like I guessed right."
Urashiki raised his hand.
"That's still enough."
"Uchiha Obito."
"I'll use this broken body to take you down."
"Then seize the brat's consciousness… and escape!"
He hovered above the desert forest.
Blood dripped from his severed shoulder.
Dark purple chakra gathered in his palm.
"My fate belongs to me, not Akira!"
"Whether I am human or god…"
"I decide!"
