Victor's car finally stopped in front of his condo building.
Ryan stepped out first,
stretching his arms.
"Your place is really close to the university."
Victor nodded.
"That's why I bought it."
They walked upstairs together.
When Victor unlocked the door, Ryan walked in curiously.
Victor's condo was modern but simple.
The living room had a large grey sofa, a wooden coffee table, and a wide TV mounted on the wall.
A bookshelf stood beside the window filled with academic books and a few football trophies.
The kitchen was open, separated only by a small counter.
Ryan looked around for a moment.
Then he dramatically collapsed onto the sofa.
"I'm dead."
Victor looked at him.
"You're sweating all over my sofa."
Ryan waved his hand lazily.
"It's fine."
"Get up."
"No."
Victor sighed and walked toward him.
"Ryan."
"No."
Victor grabbed Ryan's collar and tried pulling him up.
But Ryan stubbornly stayed
where he was.
"Get up."
"You get up."
Before Victor could react properly, Ryan pulled slightly in resistance.
Victor lost balance.
And suddenly—
He fell directly on top of Ryan.
Both of them froze.
Ryan stared up at him.
Victor blinked.
There was barely any space between them.
Ryan suddenly turned his face slightly—
And Victor's lips accidentally brushed against Ryan's cheek.
Both of them went completely still.
Their eyes met.
For a few seconds neither moved.
Then Ryan suddenly pushed him away.
"You smell gross."
Victor frowned.
"Do I?"
Ryan tilted his head playfully.
"Then smell again."
Before Victor understood what he meant, Ryan suddenly hugged him tightly.
Victor froze again.
"Ryan!"
Ryan laughed.
Victor quickly pushed him away.
"Go take a shower."
"I don't want to."
Victor grabbed him by the shoulder.
"You're going."
And he practically pushed Ryan into the bathroom.
While Ryan showered, Victor sat at the table organizing books and notes for their study session.
Suddenly—
"AAAAH!"
Victor jumped up.
Before he could react, the bathroom door flew open.
Ryan came running out wearing only a towel around his waist.
He jumped directly onto Victor, wrapping his arms around him.
"COCKROACH! COCKROACH!"
Victor blinked.
"What?"
Ryan pointed toward the bathroom dramatically.
"There was a cockroach!"
Victor stared at him for a moment.
Then he realized something.
Ryan was literally hanging onto him.
Ryan noticed it too.
His face turned red instantly.
He quickly jumped down.
Victor started laughing.
"The great Ryan Parker… afraid of a cockroach?"
Ryan groaned.
"Don't tell anyone!"
Victor smirked.
"Maybe I'll tell Ethan ."
Ryan grabbed his arm desperately.
"Please don't!"
Victor laughed again.
After a moment he tossed some clothes at him.
"Wear these."
Ryan crossed his arms.
"I don't want your clothes."
Victor raised an eyebrow.
"Then what about the towel?"
He lightly touched the towel as if he might pull it.
Ryan immediately grabbed
Victor's wrist.
"Okay fine! I'll wear them!"
Victor smirked.
"Good choice."
Ryan quickly rushed
back to the bathroom.
It was 5:30 PM when they
finally started studying.
Victor's condo was close to the university, so they had reached around 5:00 PM.
For the next three hours they studied seriously.
Ryan actually focused more than Victor expected.
By 8:30 PM, Victor noticed Ryan rubbing his stomach.
"You're hungry."
Ryan blinked.
"How did you know?"
Victor stood up.
"I'll cook something."
A little later he brought food to the table.
Ryan ate happily.
"This is really good."
Victor watched him quietly.
After dinner Ryan stretched lazily.
"Let's watch a movie."
Victor sighed but agreed.
They sat on the sofa watching a random film.
Ryan became completely
absorbed in the story.
Halfway through the movie he suddenly paused it.
"Oh wait!"
He grabbed his phone
and called Adrian.
"Hey! I'm staying here tonight."
Victor listened from the couch.
Ryan laughed.
"We're studying but...."
After finishing the call he returned.
"Okay. Continue."
As the movie continued, a romantic scene appeared.
The two characters on screen leaned in and kissed.
Ryan slowly turned his head.
Victor looked at him at the same moment.
Their eyes met again.
For a brief moment, something strange filled the room.
Both of them were alphas, and their scents naturally carried a strong presence.
Victor's scent was sandalwood mixed with smoke, calm but commanding.
Ryan's scent was brighter—fresh citrus with a sharp mint ,
energetic and lively.
For a moment those scents seemed to mix slightly in the quiet room.
Neither of them spoke.
Then Ryan quickly turned
back to the screen.
"Continue the movie."
Victor pressed play silently.
After the film ended, they prepared to sleep.
Victor lay down on the bed first.
Ryan hesitated for a moment before speaking quietly.
"…Can I hug you?"
Victor turned toward him.
"You want to?"
Ryan nodded.
Victor moved slightly.
"Then come here."
Ryan immediately moved closer and wrapped his arms around Victor happily.
Victor shook his head slightly
but didn't stop him.
Soon both of them fell asleep.
The next morning Ryan woke up suddenly.
"WHAT?!"
He checked the time.
"I'M LATE!"
He rushed out of bed
and grabbed his bag.
Victor was still half asleep.
"You're leaving already?"
Ryan ran toward the door.
"I have class!"
Victor laughed.
"Go."
Ryan rushed out without noticing something.
Later Victor woke up again around noon.
As he stretched, he noticed something on the table.
Ryan's watch.
Victor picked it up.
He could easily return it today.
But instead he looked at it for a moment.
Then he placed it inside his drawer.
"A keepsake."
Victor smiled slightly.
"…Cute."
