Alric and Aelda navigated the forest in search of the Dungeons. Aelda, utilizing her detection magic, pinpointed the nearest dungeon, guiding their advance. Their route was characterized by calf-high grasses, dense shrubs, and trees spaced approximately one meter apart. Alric steadily cleared the path of vegetation, with Aelda following closely behind. The sun, positioned in the upper right quadrant of the sky, cast rays onto the ground at a 45-degree angle. The forest was notably serene, devoid of any discernible monster or bird activity. A strong wind resonated clearly through the area, contributing to a cool and refreshing atmosphere.
After several minutes of traversing the forest, Alric and Aelda discovered the dungeon situated in the center of an open field. Trees did not grow in close proximity to the dungeon, suggesting a potential deterrent effect on their growth. The dungeon's entrance was flanked by two pillars, adorned with inscriptions depicting various natural calamities and war-torn landscapes strewn with fallen bodies. Near one of the pillars, swords and spears were impaled in the ground, accompanied by arrows scattered across the earth. Adjacent to the second pillar, broken shields lay on the ground.
Alric and Aelda ventured into the dungeon, discovering a broad and expansive path that offered a singular route forward. This path eventually led them to a chamber presenting three distinct options. They opted for the leftmost path, which opened into a room teeming with slimes. Following their victory over these creatures, they retrieved several books and scriptures before returning to the initial three-path chamber.
Next, they proceeded down the second path, which brought them to a room occupied by a minotaur. Aelda's demeanor grew noticeably more serious as they engaged the beast. After a series of strategic dodges and attacks, they successfully vanquished the minotaur. Inside this room, they discovered a chest containing various artifacts. Upon collecting these items, they once again returned to the central chamber. Neither the first nor the second path extended beyond the rooms they had explored.
Alric and Aelda proceeded along the final path. As they slowly advanced, the path gradually inclined, a change they belatedly noticed. The ground beneath them unexpectedly gave way, transforming into an abrupt descent. They slid down the steep incline and plunged into a deep pit. The point of entry was now impossibly high above them. In the center of the pit, they encountered a Leech—a being with a human-like body and an expressionless masked face—seated on the ground, holding a staff.
Upon sensing Alric and Aelda's presence, the leech rose and cast a spell, causing skeletons to emerge from the ground. Several skeletons specifically rose beneath Aelda's legs, initially grasping her ankles before ascending to her thighs. Aelda exhibited a slight embarrassment at this entanglement, while Alric remained unhindered. Recognizing the disparity, Aelda promptly began striking the skeletons to free herself. Once disengaged, she positioned herself behind Alric and urged him to swiftly eliminate the leech, declaring it to be a pervert.
Alric promptly loosed a volley of arrows toward the leech, which deftly evaded them. Seizing the opportunity, Aelda launched an attack, simultaneously casting a spell and exclaiming, "Die, you perverted leech!" The attack struck the leech, inflicting substantial damage. However, the accusation of being a pervert evidently wounded its pride more profoundly, as it retorted, "I'm not a pervert, you idiot elf!" The leech then retaliated with a dark spell designed to drain life force from its target and heal itself upon impact.
Aelda, however, skillfully parried the attack with a magical shield. She then inquired about the skeleton's prior grasp of her thighs, to which the leech responded that its purpose was to consume her life force—a point Alric conceded as valid. As the leech began to conjure another spell, Alric swiftly interrupted, striking it with an arrow. The leech's mask disintegrated into thin air, and its body vanished without a trace.
Alric and Aelda advanced towards the pit wall, located behind the leech, persistently searching for an exit. They discovered a chest positioned directly in front of a gate. Upon opening it, Alric and Aelda retrieved several legendary items, including a Tome of the Dead, a Dark Sword, gold, and various pieces of jewelry. After collecting all the items, they proceeded to open the gate, which led them outside to the dungeon's entrance, situated within the forest. Moments later, the dungeon's entrance vanished. Alric and Aelda then returned to their residence.
As Alric and Aelda journeyed homeward, they observed a teenage demoness accompanied by a contingent of demon soldiers. Concealing themselves behind trees and shrubs, they discreetly watched the group from a distance. The demons appeared to be establishing a camp. Alric and Aelda resolved to bypass them unnoticed.
Unexpectedly, a dullahan materialized. This spectral entity, characterized by a disembodied head floating above the ground, wielded a weapon suspended in the air. The dullahan confronted the demoness, who seemed perplexed by its presence, having neither encountered nor read about such a creature before.
The dullahan, an entity whose body remained invisible, advanced with only its head perceptible, brandishing a sword. It moved steadily towards the demoness and her contingent of soldiers. In response, the soldiers adopted defensive stances, aiming their weapons directly at the approaching head.
The dullahan systematically defeated the demon soldiers, who were unable to strike its head, while the dullahan's weapon swings proved exceedingly difficult to evade. Only the demoness remained. She engaged the dullahan, her weapon clashing against its own as both offense and defense intertwined. The combatants' weapons repeatedly collided, their resonating strikes echoing through the area. Alric and Aelda observed the confrontation as the demoness gradually grew fatigued.
She is about to die!....
