Ren and Eerie extended their greetings to Aelda, the mother of the Elfs. Following their juice, Pacs and his group emerged, settling under the shade of the trees. There, they deliberated on the topic of the demon Lord. Alric, Stella, and Vexanna were present, listening intently to their accounts. Meanwhile, Belle and Whitney remained in the kitchen, meticulously arranging the cleaned glasses.
Alric offers to craft weapons capable of defeating the Demon Lord. Pacs, however, dismisses the idea, citing past experiences that confirm the Demon Lord's insurmountable strength, even with specialized weaponry. Eerie further clarifies that the Demon Lord is impervious to magic, rendering all magical assaults ineffective. Stella and Vexanna concur, acknowledging the futility of their spells. Vexanna then inquires about the efficacy of physical attacks. Aelda explains that while physical attacks do inflict damage, the Demon Lord possesses immense physical strength and the ability to heal which takes time.
Aelda recounted their victory over the Demon Lord, who, after being severely wounded, miraculously healed within minutes and launched a surprise attack from behind. Ren and Eerie's quick actions were instrumental in their narrow escape. Alric then inquired about their next course of action. Pacs, however, declared his intention to continue his global travels, expressing his desire to emulate the legendary heroes depicted in epic tales.
Aelda announced her decision to return to her elven kin. Callie, having lost her way back to her hometown, expressed uncertainty about her next destination. She seemed disinclined to join Pac's journey, anticipating encounters with entities similar to the Demon Lord. Ren and Eerie, having failed to protect their villagers, inquired if they could settle with Alric and his group. Upon hearing this, Callie also requested to reside with Alric and the others. Aelda subsequently chose to remain as well, leaving Pacs free to continue his journey independently.
Before commencing his journey, Pacs receives Aelda's blessings. She touches his forehead, bestowing upon him nature-based powers to assist him in various situations, recognizing the crucial need for a hero to be thoroughly prepared. Alric insists that Pacs take his meticulously crafted gear and a sword. Pacs accepts them, expressing gratitude to Alric for providing such finely crafted equipment, unaware of their exceptional offensive capabilities and durability, as they are S-rank items.
Utilizing the powers bestowed upon him by Aelda, Pacs successfully identified the route out of the forest. As he departed, Aelda, Callie, Ren, and Eerie bid him farewell. Meanwhile, Alric efficiently constructed beds for them. Callie and Aelda shared one room, while Ren and Eerie occupied another. Alric's remarkable ability to redesign the entire house, completing two rooms within a minute, astonished Aelda. Callie's expression conveyed comical disbelief, and Ren and Eerie were equally surprised by the rapid completion.
Alric introduced Helga, Kris, and Sion, who were resting, to Aelda, Callie, Ren, and Eerie, who had not previously met. Callie found some comfort in not being the sole human, and she quickly bonded with Belle and Helga, along with Alric. Meanwhile, Aelda, Ren, and Eerie engaged with Kris and Sion.
After bypassing the crystal golem, the Demon Lord encountered the Rift Dragon. The dragon, sensing the Demon Lord's immense energy, immediately noticed him. With no other option, the Demon Lord intended to pursue Pacs and the others, but the dragon prevented his escape. The dragon generated a rift directly behind the Demon Lord, which, though not consuming him entirely, drew him in. Due to the rift's small opening compared to the Demon Lord's body, he became entrapped and immobile. The Rift Dragon then materialized two additional rifts on either side of the immobilized Demon Lord. Weapons emerged from these rifts at high velocity, tearing the Demon Lord's body into small fragments, which were then drawn into the initial rift. This first rift connected directly to the dragon's stomach, thereby completely consuming the Demon Lord. Following this, the Rift Dragon resumed its slumber.
