Kushina looked between the two of them with confusion.
They had seemed close earlier—why did they feel so distant now?
Still, she didn't ask.
As long as it wasn't a major fight, she preferred not to interfere.
If there was a real problem, they could come to her later.
During the meal, Kaien seemed like the center of attention.
Shion kept serving him food.
