Chapter 2 - Unknown Visitors?

They sat at the foot of a giant tree that seemed to pierce the Clouds. Surrounded by grasslands, the raw unfiltered nature breeze and the peaceful morning sun…the day was clear as ever. However, beneath the surface, thoughts, restlessness reigned, unanswered questions, all pointing to one thing, 'What is Elro?'

The duo made their pace to their maid. Their shoes stomping, feeling the long natural grass that screams nature, step after step. Moonlight phases his mind to a deep thinking process while enjoying the peace simultaneously.

The land ahead laid sight to a mansion. At its sides, flowers were planted, the glass window layered with raw soft wood and its walls, hardened concrete. The building was three floors long, each floor the size of two humans standing atop of each other.

"I wonder if today's the day…" Cloud murmured.

"What day?" Moonlight caught on.

Cloud faces Moonlight, then diverts, "amm…Well there's this girl who used to-um- bully me and I just remembered that's all."

"…A girl? What's her name? Is it Mera" Moonlight replies hastily, smiling, breathing in anticipation.

"No it isn't Mera."

Moonlight's mood dropped.

"It's a barbaric girl. She had black roughened hair. Her name," He pauses. "I…forgot."

"You forgot her name." Moonlight replies lowly. 'But, you must…"

"ahhh. Miss Febia, Good Morning!"

"Gooood Moooorning, how you doing?" the woman replied. "Oh, Moonlight you really are here. What's a shut in like you doing outside receiving sunlight like a normal person?"

Moonlight hides behind Cloud's back.

"Hey, Hey, come here." Febia persists, nearing Moonlight with time that pass. Moonlight changes position. She does too.

The two are tied in a stalemate until Cloud calls it off.

"You both should stop!" Separating them both with his hands, he touches Febia boobs and flusters. He coughs, "Besides, why were you calling us? You don't do that."

"Trying to change the situation are you. Sure are growing, sometimes you make me think I'm the younger one." Febia speaks playfully.

"Be serious." Cloud shot back.

"Calm down. Calm down." She gave a 'got it' hand gesture. "It turns you both are leaving today. Your…"

"I get the gist." He stops Febia halfway. Then he faces Moonlight, "If I'm correct that means Great Uncle is around for today."

"Yep," she replied soundly.

Moonlight expression changed slightly then back to default.

They headed in the house through the front doors. They house had three pair of doors for each entrance. One with size equivalent to one and half persons standing, the other just slightly lower and the last, the size of one average human, they used the last one.

"I wonder why build three doors. Just build one." Cloud murmured.

The moment they entered, Moonlight thought, Still, I would have my biggest fears. What I feel of others is different of Great Uncle. The way he approaches, speaks and moves. They are terrifying.

The inside was wide enough. At their front, two twisted stairway with wooden rod and rest, reached up to the upper parts of the house. From a narrative perspective its normal but from a human perspective, its wide-big enough.

"Oh, hey Febia"

"May, what are you doing here?"

"Resting, Goofing. You can think it however you want."

"Um, lazing around. I will think of it that way."

"Yeh take it that way." May stops and observes. "What's a shut in like him doing here? It's a miracle you are seeing or even experiencing sunlight."

"Heh Heh, don't say it like that." Febia barges, "Is not like he's a being that have never stepped outside."

May stares at her with a 'you serious' face.

May wore a casual green colored shirt flexible enough that each movement invites the little wing. Body, average. Hair, orange and eyes, blue. To top it off, she wore an orange shorts in between her legs.

"Matter of fact, Miss May is there visitors here right now?" Cloud asks.

"You speaking casually make me think we are same age. Can't you like…act your age?" May responds. "No no no. Its good you are communicative, unlike your younger." she side eyes Moonlight. "As for your question, Yep, there are visitors."

"Thank you", Cloud said. "Moonlight let's go!"

On hearing, Moonlight follows Cloud like a child following his elder.

"She sure is lucky. Giving birth to two cuties, one smart, other observative. OW!"

"Don't you have what to do right now". Febia said, after smacking May's head. She then follows the duo.

"I have nothing to do…" May notices, "hey hey don't leave me hanging!"

The duo reached the second floor through the stairs after a long walk. The first floor of the Adna's house occupies guests and the caretakers. While the second occupies the dining, storage and other recreational rooms like the library. In reality, Moonlight has never crossed the second floors due to the higher chance of bumping into someone.

The hallway of the second floor stretched far so much that it felt like walking through a small village. The dining was placed at the tenth room after the stairs in order to reduce inconvenience.

The door differed from others, dressed a bright shade of yellowish red and a label that clearly stated 'THE DINING'. Moonlight stared with regretful eyes, probably because of a bad memory.

In the haze, Febia pulls up behing Moonlight, she whispers, "You know…there is a higher chance of conversing with someone if you enter."

Moonlight spooks, his body shivering quietly.

Febia gave a cunning laugh and held the knob.

Inside as usual was spacious. The room shaped into a parallelogram with pillars at each edge. At the center, a rectangular shaped table capable of housing over forty-two men had dishes of all kinds. The aroma was delightful and full with bliss.

But, Moonlight simply looked around, giving a relieved sigh as he took his seat.

Febia handed him the utensils he needed and he dug in hastily.

Cloud says in his mind, 'How are you going to get your answer if you rush like that?' However, he followed and ate slowly to savor the food.

Just then, the door opened. A figure stepped out from the beaming sunlight.

"Guess we are lucky." Cloud smiled.

Moonlight stops for a moment and mutters, "Great Uncle!"
