Chapter 10 - Chapter 6: The Ones Above

The Master Universe did not celebrate his return.

It observed him.

Silently.

Gaurav stood in the vast emptiness, fragments of broken reality floating endlessly around him like abandoned thoughts. The battlefield of the time loop had vanished, but the marks it left behind remained carved into his body.

Nine months of pain.

Nine months of survival.

Nine months of refusing to break.

Ahead of him stood the four disciples.

Calm.

Unmoving.

As if time itself respected their presence.

One of them stepped forward.

"Welcome back."

That calm voice.

That normal tone.

As if nothing had happened.

As if the suffering inside the loop was nothing more than an experiment result.

Gaurav's fist tightened.

His body moved before his mind could speak.

Space distorted as he disappeared from where he stood.

In the next instant, he appeared directly in front of the disciple, his fist tearing through the air with terrifying speed.

The strike carried months of anger.

Months of isolation.

Months of helplessness.

The disciple raised his hand.

Caught it.

Effortlessly.

The impact that could have shattered mountains… stopped completely.

Gaurav's eyes widened.

"…Still impatient," the disciple said quietly.

Before Gaurav could react—

He was thrown backward.

His body crashed through floating fragments of space, shattering pieces of reality before finally stopping.

Pain shot through his muscles.

But he stood again.

He refused to fall here.

He attacked again.

This time all four disciples moved.

Every attack he launched…

Stopped.

Every movement…

Read.

Every attempt…

Controlled.

Within moments, Gaurav was forced onto one knee.

Breathing heavily.

Defeated.

"You broke the loop," one disciple said.

"You survived what was designed to erase you," another added.

Gaurav lifted his head.

"Then let me leave."

Silence followed.

Then—

"No."

The answer came without hesitation.

Before Gaurav could speak again—

Reality bent.

Space twisted.

And the universe changed.

The Beyond Ones

The air felt heavier here.

Not because of pressure.

Because of presence.

It felt like existence itself was aware.

Gaurav's body froze instinctively.

Ahead of him—

Three figures sat upon thrones formed from pure existence.

Not light.

Not matter.

But law.

The Supreme Gods.

One of them opened their eyes.

The entire space trembled slightly.

"So…"

The voice was calm.

Yet absolute.

"This is the one who broke the equation."

Gaurav forced himself to stand straight despite the invisible weight pressing against him.

"You trapped me in that loop."

A faint smile appeared on one of the gods.

"And yet you are here."

Another leaned forward slightly.

"Interesting."

Gaurav clenched his fists.

"I'm not staying."

Without warning—

He attacked.

Everything he had.

Speed beyond limits.

Strength sharpened by suffering.

Will hardened by isolation.

For a moment—

It felt possible.

Then—

Everything stopped.

His body froze in mid-air.

Completely.

One of the gods had raised a single hand.

That was enough.

Gaurav couldn't move.

Couldn't breathe.

Couldn't resist.

Then—

He was thrown back effortlessly.

His body struck the ground violently.

Pain spread through him like a message.

Clear.

Unavoidable.

This was not a fight.

The difference between them was absolute.

"You are unstable," one of the gods said calmly.

"But not useless."

Silence filled the space.

Then the offer came.

"Become our student."

Gaurav's eyes narrowed.

"I don't want your power."

"I just want to go back."

One of the gods tilted their head slightly.

"To where?"

Gaurav said nothing.

But his silence gave the answer.

"The flow of time has already begun shifting," another god said.

Gaurav's expression changed.

"What…?"

"The Master Universe moves faster than the human world."

"If you remain here…"

"…the distance between both worlds will continue to increase."

That meant—

Even if he returned one day…

Time itself would betray him.

His fists clenched slowly.

He had no options left.

Fight?

Impossible.

Escape?

Impossible.

Only one path remained.

"…Fine."

His voice was low.

"I'll learn."

The disciples stepped forward.

The Supreme Gods raised their hands.

A fragment of their power descended.

Pure divine energy.

Ancient.

Overwhelming.

The moment it entered Gaurav's body—

Pain exploded through his entire existence.

His vision shattered into white light.

His heartbeat became chaotic.

His body trembled violently.

Then—

Darkness.

The Fractured Balance

Inside him…

A sealed space existed.

Silent.

Endless.

Unreachable.

And within it—

Darkness.

Not empty darkness.

Living darkness.

Watching.

Waiting.

Then—

Divine light entered.

The fragment of godly power moved confidently through the sealed inner world.

Radiating authority.

It searched.

Examined.

Measured.

Then—

It reached the seal.

And paused.

Something behind it felt…

Wrong.

Beyond calculation.

Beyond definition.

Something that did not belong to order.

The divine fragment attempted to analyze it.

Then—

It pushed slightly forward.

Trying to understand.

Trying to measure.

Trying to see.

A mistake.

A tiny opening appeared.

So small it was almost nonexistent.

No larger than the tip of a needle.

And from that microscopic opening—

Dark energy leaked out.

Slow.

Heavy.

Ancient.

The divine fragment hesitated.

For the first time—

It felt resistance.

Then—

The darkness moved.

Not violently.

Not loudly.

Just undeniably.

The divine power was expelled instantly.

Thrown out of the sealed space as if it had never belonged there.

The small opening trembled—

Trying to close.

Trying to restore balance.

But it failed.

The seal did not fully recover.

A microscopic gap remained.

Barely noticeable.

Yet permanent.

From that tiny opening…

A faint trace of dark power continued to leak.

Slowly.

Endlessly.

Silently.

---

Gaurav's eyes opened suddenly.

He gasped sharply.

His body trembled uncontrollably as he fell to one knee.

Energy moved inside him.

Different.

Heavier.

Unstable.

His aura flickered.

For a brief moment—

A thin trace of dark energy surrounded him.

Then disappeared again.

The disciples immediately noticed.

"…Something changed," one of them said quietly.

The Supreme Gods observed in silence.

"The seal reacted," one of them finally spoke.

Another's gaze sharpened slightly.

"The balance… has shifted."

The air itself felt disturbed.

Not broken.

But no longer perfectly stable.

Time inside the Master Universe began moving slightly faster.

A small change.

But meaningful.

The gods did not panic.

But they were no longer completely indifferent.

"This development… was not predicted," one of them admitted.

Gaurav slowly stood up.

He could feel it.

That tiny presence inside him.

Not free.

But not completely sealed anymore.

"This is not a gift," one of the gods said.

"It is responsibility."

Gaurav clenched his fist.

"I don't care what it is."

"I'll control it."

The disciples stepped forward.

"Your training begins now."

The Concern

Far away…

In the Human Universe…

Time continued normally.

2 Days passed.

But Gaurav was gone.

No trace.

No presence.

No signal.

Academy people searched.

Everywhere.

But found nothing.

Rumors spread.

Questions grew.

Concern deepened.

Anzhu stood silently in front of the mirror.

Her eyes focused.

Her expression steady.

"He's alive…"

she whispered.

"I know he is."

But the distance between them was no longer just space.

It was time itself.

And that distance…

was still growing.
