"Remember the first day that Leah joined the group." One of her friends said, reminiscing about a part of her past that she would never forget.
Suddenly, everybody cracked up, unable to control their laughter.
Of course, they all did.
It unexpectedly rained that day. Her shoes were old, wet, and slippery. To make the story short, she slipped and accidentally bumped into the Principal, which earned her a trip to detention.
Her name became an overnight sensation.
The next day, her friends came up to her. "You're cool. You should join us for lunch." Then, it was history.
Their group might not be the most popular in school, but they were tight. They always have each other's back.
"Hey, I wish you guys would just forget about that." It was not exactly something to be proud of, but now, she also found it funny.
For hours, they shared old stories, remembering bittersweet moments that made them laugh and cry.
But after tonight, that would be the end of their stories.
