Haidoro sat calmly on a massive rock.
Griho stood several hundred metres away.
Neither spoke.
Both simply stared into each other's eyes.

His body was covered with thick, durable scales.
His frame was broader and more muscular.
Unlike Haidoro, however, he possessed neither horns nor spikes.
The two dragons roared.
The sheer force of their voices tore apart everything standing in their path.

An ocean of magma appeared high above the sky as if reality itself had been torn open.
The burning sea crashed toward Griho.
The nearby river evaporated almost instantly.
Without wasting a second...
Griho unleashed an overwhelming torrent of water to intercept the descending magma.
The collision...
...was utterly catastrophic.
The impact triggered a colossal explosion.
Molten magma burst in every direction.
A towering column of steam, volcanic ash, smoke, and burning debris shot miles into the atmosphere.
Moments later, a deadly pyroclastic wave of superheated gas, ash, and molten rock rushed across the land at terrifying speed, erasing everything in its path.
The peaceful dawn disappeared.
The sky darkened.
Dense volcanic clouds swallowed the sunlight.
CRACK.
The earth beneath them shattered as the two dragons collided head-on.
The instant Griho entered within a two-mile radius...
...he released his Water Breath.
Haidoro answered with an equally devastating Magma Breath.
Their attacks met in the center.
The resulting explosion dwarfed the previous one.
Even both dragons were blasted backward by the force.
Those breaths were more than simple elemental attacks.
They were manifestations of their very nature.
Immediately afterward...
...the two dragons charged again.
They collided at nearly 0.005c.
The energy released rivaled the detonation of trillions of nuclear warheads at a single point.
Entire seas vaporized.
The expanding shockwave flattened oceans, wrapping around the planet to form a blazing ring of incandescent rock vapor and superheated steam.
Liquid lava rained back onto the planet like a burning storm.
The scar carved into Giro exposed parts of its mantle.
A significant portion of the planet had already been devastated.
Fortunately...
Planet Giro was twenty times larger than Earth while possessing roughly the same density.
Otherwise, the world itself might have shattered from that exchange alone.
Inside the mothership...
Pratik and the others watched in stunned silence.
Pratik (thinking): I knew they were monsters...but this is far beyond anything I imagined.
A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead.
Even Mala and Grimori—the two strongest fighters of their team—remained completely silent.
Both were desperately trying to think of a way to defeat Haidoro someday...even though such a possibility felt impossible after witnessing this battle.

Griho beat his enormous wings.
A gigantic tornado formed almost instantly.
Haidoro responded by creating one of his own.
The two storms collided.
The impact gave birth to a massive earthquake.
The enormous crater left behind by their Dragon Breaths continued expanding.
Soon...
...it transformed into a colossal valley overflowing with endless magma.
Griho reverted to his regular Dragoling form.
Haidoro also returned to his Dragoling Beast Form.
The difference?
A Beast Dragoling possesses larger muscles, thicker scales, powerful spikes, and a far more monstrous physique than an ordinary Dragoling.
But those differences hardly mattered now.
Because...the battle had only just begun.
