Chapter 2 - MY BIRTH

In the eternal paradise of Themyscira, where the sun kissed the shores and verdant cliffs whispered secrets of the gods, Queen Hippolyta stood as a pillar of unyielding strength. It had been a century since the birth of her daughter, Diana—the child sculpted from clay and blessed by the Olympians, or so the legend went to shield her true divine heritage from Zeus's vengeful wife, Hera.

But the gods' whims are fickle, and Zeus, the king of Olympus, had returned to Hippolyta's arms for a moment of passion, igniting a spark that would challenge the Amazonian ways once more.

In the royal chamber deep within the royal palace, surrounded by her most trusted sisters—Philippus and Antiope—Hippolyta labored under the glow of enchanted lanterns. The air hummed with the scent of myrrh and salt spray, as midwives chanted gentle hymns to Artemis and Athena, ensuring a smooth delivery.

As dawn broke, painting the sky in hues of rose and gold, the cries of a newborn echoed through the halls. It was a boy—strong-limbed, with eyes like storm clouds Hippolyta cradled him, she named him Jason . "Oh shit, why couldn't you be a girl like your sister. I'm sorry for what's about to happen to you but I swore no males on the island and I don't intend to break that rule for you little one. "She just looked at him.

She looked at her sister Antiope for a while then said "Call Hephaestus he's about to have one more worker in his forge"

The Amazons of Themyscira would periodically visit the world of men to reproduce and as they were blessed by Aphrodity herself they were pretty beautiful.

If they birthed a daughter, she was raised as an Amazon. If they birthed a son, he was considered a failure and a violation of their all-female society.

They then made a deal with Hephaestus. To avoid killing the male infants, the Amazons made a pact with Hephaestus, the Olympian God of the Forge. The Amazons would give their male children to him, and in return, Hephaestus would forge weapons and armor for the Amazons.

The boys were raised by Hephaestus in his forges, becoming known as the "Sons of Themyscira." They grew up to be expert blacksmiths, skilled in crafting magical armor and weapons.

10 hour :

At a secluded, rocky outcrop on the shores of Themyscira. The air is thick with the scent of brine and the sounds of the waves crashing into shores.

A mighty figure was seen standing there, he had tanned skin that almost borders on red, he had a leather apron and goggles on his forehead. And last but not least he had a crippled leg.

"Queen Hippolyta, you are quite early and you haven't even fulfilled half your average amount. " Hephaestus said to Hippolyta who only one baby.

"This one is just mine and nobody's else's." Hippolyta said matter of factly, handing the Jason to the god Hephaestus.

"Weapons will be ready for you and your people in six months time. " He said in accordance to their deal.

"Thank you ." She said while walking away back to her quarters. Then Hephaestus just disappeared as if he was never there in the first place.

In the interior of Mount Etna, Italy :

'I never really understood their rule about their boys. I understand that they got hurt and killed by men before, but are these not their sons they could have taught them to be better. ' Lamented Hephaestus as he felt a connection with these boys as he was thrown out by his mother 'Hera ' as well.

"Jeremiah, come to me now, boy! " He called out to the person in question. Who looked like he was in his late twenties. He had red hair and brown eyes and he was pretty short, 5,3foot tall to be exact.

"Yes my lord !" Jeremiah called out to the god in front of him. Some of the other men looked at him, but upon seeing their lord with him they quickly went back to work.

"I am tasking you and your brothers to take care of this baby. He is you and your brothers responsibility. " Hephaestus said this while handing the baby Jason to Jeremiah.

Jeremiah took Jason and cradled him. "My lord ."

"Yes ?"

"Where are the rest of the boys ? "Jeremiah asked.

"He's the only one that was birthed. "He answered. "Ooh I see, I shall take my leave now. "
