"Where is the don?!" Dahlia demanded in panic, her face red from almost losing her composure.
The don? The guards looked at one another in question.
"W-we don't know, ma'am," One of them replied, wondering what was really going on as Lucrezia kept forcing out the ropes glueing Meshach to the chair.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Dahlia looked pissed.
Hadn't he come with the others?
"W-we didn't see any other person arrive, ma'am. Just her. Just the black sedan. She came looking urgently for you in this wing. That was why we let her in."
That had Dahlia pinch her brows in confusion as she turned to Lucrezia who had almost succeeded in untying Meshach.
She ran over to her, curiosity getting the better of her.
"Miss Lucre-"
"Take your hands off me!" Lucrezia jolted her away, her anger and shock causing her to forget the most important thing she was supposed to do, but Dahlia held her seriously now, remembering she had come looking like a scared kitten.
