Finally, they got to the location. Standing directly in their way was a large, round door made of thick stone, looking like a massive vault safe box embedded in the underground earth.
"Okay, who is rolling?" Princess asked, turning her head back toward the other two.
"I just got my nails done, and na…" Kiara shrugged, leaning her shoulder casually against the rough wall.
"Like you have ever lifted anything heavy in your life. You can't even hold your own heels," Princess said, holding up the pair of stilettos dangling from her index finger.
Everyone else had worn flat shoes since they knew it was going to be a long walk through the tunnels.
Kiara had put on high heels despite the advance heads-up because she was still determined to look her best no matter where they went.
In the middle of their journey, Kiara got tired of stumbling over uneven rocks and removed her heels, tossing them straight to Princess while demanding Princess hand over her own flat shoes.
