This was the very tool Celeike usually used to torture homunculi for sport. Now, she had become the one bound to it. Having been naked for days, constantly exposed to his gaze, her spirit had already crumbled. Being displayed like this on a cross was the ultimate humiliation.
Shame-faced, she closed her eyes tight. Haruka Kasugano had Melusine bring a soaked leather whip and began a session of harsh discipline. Under the influence of his [Torture Techniques] skill, every strike was psychologically devastating. Celeike sobbed heart-wrenchingly. Every time she fainted from the pain, she was doused with cold water and woken up, suffering beyond words.
Haruka Kasugano laughed coldly and picked up a goose feather. He pulled up her jade-like calves and locked them against the stake. He brushed the feather back and forth against the soles of her feet. At first, she grit her teeth, but soon her whole body twisted violently. The skin where the chains rubbed against her wrists and ankles broke, and she began to laugh hysterically from the tickling—until she ran out of breath and fainted again.
This cycle repeated until Celeike's mind snapped. She began to transform the punishment into pleasure. Though she cried, she also laughed with a delirious joy. Her heart was shattered; she was no longer the arrogant eldest daughter of a noble house.

"Excellent. Come, continue feeding," Haruka Kasugano chuckled. This was no longer entertainment for her; it was a matter of survival.

"Why are those two acting as your maids?" Jeanne asked curiously.
"Ah, well, I granted them their freedom, and they insisted on repaying me this way. I couldn't really refuse..." Haruka Kasugano scratched his head with a bashful smile.
Hearing this, Jeanne couldn't help but offer a meaningful, warm smile. "That's wonderful..."
