The first match ended fast.
One team leaned heavy on weapons, the other on spellwork, and the weapons team spent most of their time either dodging or absorbing hits while the casters built pressure from behind a tall shielded guy.
The team with swords was at a disadvantage, the sheer pressure of multiple projectiles shooting their way was absurd. The one that didn't use a sword seemed focused on each spell thrown their way, and some of them disappeared.
'Is that counter spell?' I thought.
The yellow-haired sword user was the most interesting part to watch. He read the room faster than the others, cut through the angle between the casters and their cover, and almost made it before the combined output just overwhelmed him.
