Gallag didn't waste time.
The moment the call rang out he spread both arms wide and constructs started forming around him. Not one. Not two. I counted five distinct shapes pulling together from different elements. Ice shards rotating on his left, a compressed fire lance on his right, two smaller dark bolts hovering above his shoulders, and something I didn't have a name for crackling between his palms like static given weight.
The crowd noise dropped immediately.
'What even is this?'
The fire lance came first. Then an ice shard right behind it, back to back so that dodging one fed you into the other.

The world blurred. I was already past both of them before they crossed the space where I'd been standing, the heat of the fire kissed my shoulder as I moved through.
