A Monster with an alligator head stopped at the sound of his words, glaring angrily: "What did you say?"
Mr. Allen didn't even glance at him, walking straight to the center of the training area: "I said, you're too weak."
The entire training area instantly fell silent. All the Monster stopped their movements, their angry gazes fixed on Mr. Allen.
The alligator-headed Monster was the first to charge: "You're asking for death!"
Mr. Allen didn't look back, he just lightly raised his hand and delivered a hand-chop to the alligator-headed Monster's neck.
"Crack!"
With a crisp sound of bones breaking, the alligator-headed Monster crashed to the ground, his neck twisted at a grotesque angle.
"Who else?" Mr. Allen scanned his surroundings, his crimson eyes causing every Monster who met his gaze to involuntarily take a step back.
"Too arrogant!" A Monster covered in sharp spikes roared as he charged forward.
Mr. Allen sidestepped the attack, his right hand like lightning as he grabbed the opponent's wrist and twisted gently.
"Ah!" The spiky Monster shrieked, his arm brutally broken.
"All at once!" Someone shouted, and a dozen Monster simultaneously pounced on Mr. Allen.
The smile on Mr. Allen's lips widened. His figure moved like a phantom through the crowd. Every strike precisely hit a vital point. In just a few seconds, the ground was littered with wailing Monster.
Mr. Allen stood in the center of the training ground, the fallen Monster around him groaning in pain. He shook his wrist, his gaze sweeping over the remaining Monster: "Anyone else want to try?"
"Too presumptuous!" A Mantis Monster with six arms emerged from the shadows, his blade-like forelimbs glinting coldly. "Let me teach this Rookie a lesson!"
Mr. Allen's lips curved slightly: "Six arms? Interesting."
The Mantis Monster instantly launched his attack, six bladed arms striking at Mr. Allen with imperceptible speed. Mr. Allen didn't dodge, simply raising his right hand lightly.
"Clang! Clang! Clang!"
The sound of metal clashing rang out repeatedly. The Mantis Monster was shocked to find all his bladed arms blocked by Mr. Allen's single hand. Even more terrifying, there wasn't even a scratch on Mr. Allen's arm.
"Good speed, but lacking in strength," Mr. Allen commented. Suddenly, he sidestepped, his right hand like lightning as he grabbed one of the Mantis Monster's arms.
"Crack!"
With a crisp sound of bone breaking, the Mantis Monster let out a piercing scream, one arm brutally snapped.
"Stop!" A massive Rhino Monster charged out. "This isn't a place where you, a human, can do as you please!"
Mr. Allen became even more excited at the sight. This was simply the best place for him to grind progress, with Monster constantly charging forward to their deaths.
Phoenix Man, watching this scene from the side, suddenly wondered if Gyoro Gyoro's decision to recruit Mr. Allen into the Monster Association was right or wrong. He had a vague feeling that before the war against the Hero Association even began, Mr. Allen would have already defeated all the Monster at headquarters.
In the Monster Association's training ground, Mr. Allen faced the continuous stream of challengers, his crimson eyes gleaming with excitement. He deliberately suppressed his strength, keeping the battles evenly matched to better observe the unique abilities of each Monster.
"Next." Mr. Allen shook his wrist, kicking the fallen Rhino Monster aside.
Phoenix Man, standing by, wiped cold sweat, his feather decorations trembling incessantly: "Mr. Allen, this is just a tour, there's no need to..."
"Shut up." Mr. Allen didn't look back. "I'm helping you screen your combat power."
A Monster with bat wings swooped down from high above, his sharp claws aiming directly for Mr. Allen's eyes. Mr. Allen slightly tilted his head, his right hand like lightning as he grabbed the opponent's ankle and slammed him violently into the ground.
"Bang!"
The Bat Monster created a human-shaped crater in the ground, his wings drooping limply. Mr. Allen released his grip, his gaze sweeping towards the few trembling Monster in the corner: "All of you, come at me together."
Three Monster of various forms exchanged glances and simultaneously launched their attacks: one could spray acid, one was covered in electricity, and the last could turn invisible. Mr. Allen's lips curved slightly; this kind of combination was interesting.
The Acid Monster struck first, corrosive liquid raining down. Mr. Allen didn't dodge, dark red energy appearing on his armor's surface, deflecting all the acid. The Electric Monster seized the opportunity to pounce, high-voltage electricity crackling in the air.
"Too slow," Mr. Allen murmured, his figure flashing behind the Electric Monster, delivering a precise hand-chop to the back of his neck. The Electric Monster grunted, collapsing to the ground.
The Invisible Monster seized the chance to ambush from behind. Mr. Allen seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, suddenly turning and grabbing the opponent's wrist: "Invisibility is useless against me."
"Crack!" The sound of bone breaking was accompanied by a scream, and the Invisible Monster revealed his form, kneeling on the ground.
The training ground was silent, all the Monster awed by this overwhelming power. Mr. Allen flicked the blood from his hand.
"That's enough for today." Mr. Allen clapped his hands, as if he had just finished a warm-up.
Phoenix Man breathed a sigh of relief, quickly stepping forward to lead the way: "Mr. Allen, your quarters are ready, please follow me."
Mr. Allen followed Phoenix Man out of the training ground, through several dark passages, and arrived at a relatively spacious stone room. The stone room had simple furniture: a bed, a table, and independent bathroom facilities.
"The conditions are humble, please forgive us," Phoenix Man said, rubbing his feathers.
Mr. Allen nodded: "It's enough."
Phoenix Man hesitated for a moment, then asked: "Mr. Allen, why did you do that just now?"
Mr. Allen took off his jacket and hung it on the wall, saying without looking back: "Just testing strength. Your Monster Association claims to gather the strongest Monster in the world. I need to know the level of my partners."
Phoenix Man swallowed: "Then... what's the result?"
"Disappointing," Mr. Allen turned around, his crimson eyes looking directly at Phoenix Man. "Aside from Gyoro Gyoro and a few executives, everyone else isn't even a warm-up."
Cold sweat seeped from Phoenix Man's forehead: "We will strengthen their training."
"No need to explain." Mr. Allen waved his hand. "I don't have high hopes for your strength. I only need your intelligence network and resources."
Phoenix Man awkwardly nodded: "Yes, yes. Then please rest. I will send someone with dinner."
After Phoenix Man left, Mr. Allen sat on the edge of the bed, beginning to organize his gains from the day. Through the battles just now, he had collected ability information on a dozen different types of Monster, none of which were useful. It was just for grinding progress.
