Chapter 135 - Chapter 135: Under House Arrest

"This really is a dream, isn't it! This is simply too absurd!"

"Impossible, impossible." Allen quickly shook his head to dispel the ridiculous thought. He cautiously pulled back the covers and found that his shoes had been taken off, but his socks were still on.

"At least I wasn't stripped naked…" Allen breathed a sigh of relief, but then immediately became tense again. He gently moved his body, and a sharp pain immediately shot through the wound on his abdomen.

"I really was a bit too heavy-handed." Allen regretted it inwardly. He looked around, searching for possible escape routes: windows, doors, ventilation ducts… Just then, Tornado on the sofa suddenly turned over, her T-shirt hem slightly lifting to reveal a section of fair, smooth waist. Allen immediately froze, even holding his breath.

"If she finds out I was looking…" Allen imagined Tornado's furious expression and couldn't help but shiver.

He tiptoed out of bed, trying not to make a sound, but as soon as he took his first step, the floor let out a soft creak.

Tornado on the sofa frowned, her green curly hair unconsciously fluttering a few times. Allen's heart was pounding, and he remained in his posture, not daring to move.

It took a full minute for him to confirm that Tornado hadn't woken up before Allen dared to continue moving. He moved towards the door at an extremely slow pace, like a comical mime artist.

"First, get out of this door," Allen thought to himself, but just as he was only one step away from the doorknob, a lazy yet dangerous voice suddenly came from behind him:

"Where do you think you're going, Rookie?"

Allen's back was instantly drenched in cold sweat. He slowly turned around and saw Tornado already floating in mid-air, her green curly hair moving without wind, her eyes sleepy but full of murderous intent.

"Good, good morning, Miss Tornado." Allen forced out a stiff smile: "I just wanted to go to the restroom."

Tornado narrowed her eyes, floated in front of Allen, and looked down at him: "You lay on my bed all night and want to run away without even a thank you?"

"This, that." Allen's brain was working furiously: "Thank you very much for your care! I just didn't want to disturb your rest."

"Hmph!" Tornado snorted coldly, and green energy suddenly enveloped Allen, throwing him directly back onto the bed.

"Ah, ouch, ouch…" Allen covered his wound and grimaced. When I don't have to pretend anymore, I'll definitely teach you a good lesson.

Tornado floated to the bedside, crossing her arms: "The doctor said you need to lie down for at least three days. During this time, you better stay put. If you dare to run around, I'll throw you out the window!"

Allen keenly noticed that Tornado's eyes were flickering, and she wasn't as self-assured as usual when she spoke. What was she hiding?

"Miss Tornado." Allen tentatively asked: "Why are you taking care of me? Shouldn't I be at the Association's medical center now?"

"Shut up!" Tornado's curly hair fluttered violently: "I, I just don't want the Association to lose another S-Class Hero! It's not like I specifically wanted to take care of you!"

A very typical tsundere statement. Based on Tornado's answer, Allen had more or less guessed the truth. It seemed that Tornado and the other three had chosen to conceal it. Although he had done all of this himself, a warmth still welled up in his heart.

Allen looked at Tornado's figure floating in mid-air. He slowly sat up straight and said seriously: "Miss Tornado, thank you."

"Huh?" Tornado's green curly hair suddenly flared out: "What, what kind of stupid things are you saying!"

"Thank you for not turning me over to the Association." Allen looked directly into Tornado's eyes: "I know roughly what was written on that note."

Originally, Allen wanted to use this opportunity to clear out the Association's parasites, but it turned out they had kept it a secret. Now he could only take it one step at a time.

Tornado's face instantly turned pale, and the surrounding air seemed to solidify. She instinctively took half a step back, green energy fluctuating violently around her: "You… you remember everything?"

"I only remember that the Monster said they were going to inject me with something." Allen deliberately showed a confused expression: "But when I woke up here, I guessed that someone must have helped me conceal this matter."

Tornado's expression gradually changed from shock to annoyance. She suddenly floated in front of Allen and grabbed his collar: "Idiot! How can you just blurt out something like that!"

Allen was choked and struggled to breathe, but he still insisted: "I just wanted to express my gratitude. If the Association knew…"

"Shut up!" Tornado suddenly let go, turning her face away, her ear tips secretly reddening: "I wasn't doing it for you! It's just, it's just that those guys in the Association are too annoying!"

Allen looked at Tornado like this, raising an eyebrow. He hadn't expected the usually arrogant Tornado to have such a shy side.

"What are you looking at!" Tornado glared at him, embarrassed and angry: "Since you already know, then you better stay put! From today on, you have to follow me wherever you go!"

Allen was stunned by Tornado's sudden declaration, then gave a wry smile: "Miss Tornado, isn't that a bit inappropriate?"

"What's inappropriate about it!" Tornado put her hands on her hips, her green curly hair moving without wind: "I'm the second-ranked S-Class Hero, what I say goes!"

"Do you want to secretly turn into a Monster and harm the city?"

Allen looked at the small figure in front of him, secretly calculating in his heart. Being monitored by Tornado would restrict his actions, but it could also provide him with perfect cover. It just depended on how he used Tornado.

"Alright." Allen feigned a helpless sigh: "But I need to go home first to get some change of clothes."

"No!" Tornado immediately refused.

"Who knows if you'll take the opportunity to escape!" She floated to the wardrobe, used Psychokinesis to pull out a few clothes, and threw them to Allen: "Wear mine first!"

Allen looked at the clothes, several sizes too small, that landed on his lap, and the corner of his mouth twitched slightly: "Miss Tornado, isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

"Hmph!" Tornado turned her face away, her green curly hair fluttering slightly: "It's better than being naked!"

Allen picked up a clearly women's T-shirt with a cartoon pattern on it. He compared their body types; Allen was almost two Tornadoes tall: "I can't wear this, can I?"

Tornado's ear tips turned slightly red: "Less nonsense! Wear it or don't! She floated to the wardrobe and pulled out another pair of sweatpants, throwing them over: "These should fit!"

Allen took the pants, measured the length, and found they could barely be worn as shorts: "Thank you, Miss Tornado."

He looked up at Tornado, who was still floating in the air: "Um, could you please excuse yourself for a moment?"

"Huh?" Tornado's green curly hair suddenly flared out: "Do you think I want to watch!"

She quickly turned and floated towards the door: "Call me when you're changed!"

The door was heavily shut. Allen immediately used mental communication to issue orders to Muzan and the others, signaling them to gather here tonight.
