"It's been a long time since I fought many people at once. This really gets my blood pumping…"
Jovian rolled his neck and smiled as he looked at the great pirates around him. The last time he had been surrounded was when he was too young to know better and helped his father, Nolan, deal with the Guardians of the Globe. The result was the total annihilation of the Guardians of the Globe.
"What?!"
Blackbeard froze, unable to understand what Jovian was trying to do.
He thought Jovian had to be insane, because if Jovian were not insane, there was no way he would say something as crazy as one man taking on all of them.
Before Blackbeard and the others could say anything more, Jovian had already moved. His first target was Avalo Pizarro, the Corrupt King, the one laughing the loudest among Blackbeard's crew.
"What?!"
Avalo Pizarro's pupils shrank as Jovian flickered before his eyes like a ghost, and his body could not help trembling.
"What did you just say about me?"
Jovian grabbed one of the horns on Avalo Pizarro's head. Then his knee drove upward with force, the hard impact carrying immense power as it smashed straight into Avalo Pizarro's face.
With a thunderous bang, Avalo Pizarro's head exploded like a crushed tomato. Red pulp burst across the ground, and countless splashes of tomato sauce scattered over the floor of Marineford. In the blink of an eye, Avalo Pizarro, the infamous villain from Impel Down's Level 6, died on the spot.
"What?!"
In an instant, the Blackbeard Pirates stopped laughing. Looking at Avalo Pizarro, whose head had been destroyed by Jovian, none of them could laugh anymore.
"This guy is so strong!"
Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard, stared blankly at Jovian, who had instantly killed the Corrupt King. Although he had heard about Jovian's strength, he had never imagined Jovian would be this powerful.
"Next."
Jovian's eyes flickered. After dealing with the Corrupt King, he did not linger. He immediately searched for his next target.
"Damn it…"
Van Augur, the god-tier sniper of the Blackbeard Pirates, gripped his rifle and aimed it at Jovian. Powerful Armament Haki wrapped around the bullet in his sniper rifle. He was ready to blow Jovian's head off with one shot.
With the sound of a gunshot, a bullet carrying immense force fired instantly.
Facing the bullet streaking toward him at high speed, Jovian's expression did not change. Only when the bullet was about to hit his head did he slowly extend two fingers. With a light metallic sound, Jovian easily caught the bullet enhanced by Van Augur's Armament Haki.
"Not fast enough…"
Jovian pinched the bullet and aimed it at Van Augur.
"If you want to hurt me, you at least need this kind of speed."
After Jovian finished speaking, he lightly flicked his finger. In an instant, the bullet howled through the air and shot toward Van Augur.
Still gripping his sniper rifle with both hands, Van Augur did not even know what had happened before he felt a sharp pain in his heart.
He lowered his head slightly and looked down. There was a hole in Van Augur's chest, not large and not small, about the same diameter as the bullet Van Augur had fired.
Van Augur looked at the bleeding wound. In the end, he could not hold back. He spat out blood and collapsed unconscious on the spot.
"Van Augur? Not good. Doc Q, go treat Van Augur!"
Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard, watched Van Augur fall to the ground as countless beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. He nervously spoke to the doctor of his pirate ship.
"Ugh… I know…"
The half-dead Doc Q nodded. Riding his half-dead horse, he headed toward Van Augur.
"How could I let you treat your companion?"
"You're the doctor, right? Here are your companion's ashes. Keep them safe."
Naturally, Jovian would not just stand there and watch. He took the horn he had broken off Avalo Pizarro's head earlier and threw it toward the half-dead Doc Q.
"Hm?"
Doc Q heard the whistling sound by his ear, and his expression changed sharply. In his field of vision, a horn made of bone was rapidly flying closer and closer toward him.
Faced with that horn, Doc Q thought of doing something, but everything he could do was powerless. He could only watch helplessly as that dart grew larger and larger before his eyes, until it finally struck his head hard.
In an instant, a black hole about as wide as Avalo Pizarro's horn appeared in Doc Q's forehead.
"So this is what death feels like?"
Doc Q's gaze turned dazed. He gently touched the wound on his forehead, looked at the blood staining his hand, and smiled. Then, with a thud, he fell from his horse and lay motionless on the ground.
"Dead? How weak. There's one more, so I'll give it to you."
Jovian glanced at Doc Q, who could no longer fight, and shook his head. Too weak. He could not even handle one shot. Unfortunately, Jovian still had two horns in his hand.
"I've never heard of this…"
"I've never heard anything about a monster like this appearing in the outside world!"
The Crescent Moon Hunter, Catarina Devon, looked at the man radiating overwhelming pressure, the man who had taken down Avalo Pizarro, Van Augur, and Doc Q, three monsters of the Blackbeard Pirates, in barely more than ten seconds. Her pupils shrank sharply.
"Hah? Never heard of me?"
Jovian glanced at the Crescent Moon Hunter. To be honest, since coming to this world, this was the first time he had seen a woman this ugly.
"Now you've heard of me, and you've seen me. I'll give you this horn too, so it leaves a deeper impression."
Jovian threw Avalo Pizarro's other horn toward the Crescent Moon Hunter, Catarina Devon.
With a light sound, the horn stabbed straight into Catarina Devon's forehead. In an instant, tomato juice began flowing continuously from the hole in Devon's head.
Then Catarina Devon's eyes rolled white, and she collapsed to the ground.
"Next…"
Jovian rolled his neck and looked at the others.
"Spread out! Prepare to counterattack!"
Wings grew from the back of the Demon Sheriff, Lafitte, and he rose into the air.
However, before Lafitte could leave, a dazzling red light shot from Jovian's eyes, slicing Lafitte and his wings in half.
A rain of red tomato sauce fell from the sky.
Jovian seemed to have expected it. He picked up the body of the Crescent Moon Hunter, Catarina Devon, from the ground and used it to block the bloody rain from above.
"Attack together!"
Jesus Burgess and Vasco Shot let the tomato sauce soak their bodies as they charged at Jovian at the same time.
"Huh?"
"What a pain…"
"Couldn't you attack later? I really hate getting myself dirty…"
Jovian seemed rather disgusted by the filthy Jesus Burgess and Vasco Shot.
Although Jovian sounded annoyed, his movements were not slow at all.
First, Jovian sent Jesus Burgess flying with one punch. Then, with his other hand, he directly grabbed Vasco Shot's face.
"Urgh…"
Vasco Shot felt Jovian's powerful hand pressing down. His face twisted grotesquely, and veins gradually bulged across his forehead.
With the sound of a watermelon bursting, Vasco Shot no longer made a sound.
Jovian cracked his neck. His body turned into an afterimage as he rushed toward Jesus Burgess, who had been knocked away.
"Damn it…"
Jesus Burgess lay collapsed on the ground. He looked at Jovian running toward him and cursed, yet there was nothing he could do.
With a light slicing sound, Jovian turned his hand into a blade and instantly cut Jesus Burgess open.
Bright red tomato sauce gushed out like it had no end, staining the ground piece by piece.
"You bastard! Look what you've done!"
Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard, stared at Jovian, who had almost completely wiped out his pirate crew in an instant, turning the Blackbeard Pirates into history. Veins bulged across his forehead, and an endless black aura poured from his body, rushing across the ground as if it were about to swallow Jovian.
"Ah…"
Jovian frowned as he felt the black gas wrapping around him. The gas made him feel as if he had sunk into a swamp, sticky and extremely uncomfortable.
"Zehahahaha…"
"No matter how strong you are, once you're restrained by this move of mine, there's nothing you can do!"
"Jovian, you killed seven of my companions. How are you going to compensate me for that?"
"How about paying me back with yourself?"
"Jovian, join my Blackbeard Pirates! Let me share the world with you! Let's conquer and rule the world together!"
"As long as we join forces, no one in this world will be able to stop us. Am I wrong? Zehahahahaha…"
Marshall D. Teach looked at Jovian and laughed freely. He did not mind at all that Jovian had killed almost all his companions. After all, among these so-called companions, even the one who had been with him the longest had only known him for a few weeks. There was no real attachment between them. Besides, these so-called companions had been defeated because they were too weak. Blackbeard did not need trash. If he could trade that trash for a peak-level combat force like Jovian joining him, then the position of Pirate King would be within reach.
"Join forces? You're not worthy, Teach."
Jovian looked at Blackbeard and smiled.
"Is that so? What a shame. Then die here!"
"Do it!"
After hearing Jovian's words, Marshall D. Teach frowned and nodded toward the person behind Jovian.
"What a shame, Pirate Hunter. You're going to die here."
Along with a cold flash, a katana was raised above Jovian's head. The newcomer was the legendary former Head Jailer of Impel Down, Shiryu of the Rain, whose strength was said to be no weaker than Warden Magellan's. Shiryu gripped his famous blade and aimed it at Jovian's head.
With a cold flash, a shining fragment flew into the sky.
"What kind of joke is this…"
Shiryu's hands trembled as he looked at his shattered katana, his eyes wide.
"Did you do something, kid?"
"A blade like that isn't even fit to shave my face."
Facing Shiryu, Jovian did not even turn his head.
"What?!"
Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard, stared in disbelief at the flying blade fragment. Shiryu was the second-in-command he had chosen. Blackbeard knew exactly how strong Shiryu was. Yet the blade in the hands of a man like that had actually shattered. It was terrifying. This bounty hunter's body was too terrifying.
"Ah, I'm done playing. Your power looks flashy, but there's really nothing interesting about it."
As Jovian spoke, he rose into the air. He pushed straight through Blackbeard's endless pull and flew into the sky. Then, with one forceful struggle, the black mist Blackbeard had wrapped around Jovian vanished completely.
If you fall into a swamp, never struggle with brute force, unless your strength is great enough to exceed the limits of what the swamp can withstand.
"It's time to say goodbye, Blackbeard!"
Jovian floated in the sky and smiled slightly at Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard. His eyes instantly lit up with a scorching crimson glow.
"You damn monster…"
Marshall D. Teach looked at Jovian and roared in fury.
However, Blackbeard's roar could not stop the crimson heat vision falling from the sky like a thunderbolt.
At the docks…
After several minutes of discussion, the Marines, led by Sengoku, decided to give Red-Haired Shanks face.
For the sake of the Marines' future, Sengoku decided to stop the war. Besides, the Marines had already done enough. They had even brought down Edward Newgate, Whitebeard, the strongest man in the world. That was already enough to give the World Government an explanation.
As for Ace, Roger's son, out of consideration for Garp, Sengoku decided to let him go. Otherwise, who knew what kind of madness Garp might fall into?
"Thank you, everyone, for giving me this face…"
"In that case, the war is over!"
As Shanks spoke, he drew his famous sword, Gryphon.
"Damn it…"
Sakazuki watched Shanks and the other pirates stand right in front of him while he was unable to act. He clenched his fists, his expression filled with displeasure.
Just as Sakazuki was secretly angry, a meteor suddenly fell from the sky.
With a thunderous crash, it landed in front of everyone.
Once the roar and the endless blast of air scattered, everyone finally saw the meteor's true form.
It was not a meteor at all. It was a head.
"That's Marshall D. Teach's head!"
The scar over Red-Haired Shanks' right eye began to ache faintly the moment he looked at the head before him.
"Teach, that traitor, is dead? Great!"
"Who killed him? I need to thank him properly!"
The division commanders of the remaining Whitebeard Pirates looked at the dead Blackbeard and shouted excitedly one after another. After all, without Blackbeard's betrayal, this damned Summit War would never have happened.
"Who killed Teach?"
Shanks looked around. He knew Teach's strength clearly, and he knew the person capable of killing Teach had to be among the very top fighters in the world.
"I killed him. Took me several minutes too. I have to say, I really have gotten a lot weaker."
Just as everyone fell silent, Jovian walked toward Shanks with the unconscious Shiryu of the Rain gripped in one hand and a katana dripping blood in the other.
"So it was the famous world's greatest pirate hunter…"
"Give me face and stop. The war is already over."
Shanks looked at Jovian, who radiated a blood-soaked killing aura, and used his signature Face-Face Fruit.
"Face? How much is your face worth? Is it worth more than your head?"
Jovian casually threw away the body and the katana in his hands, walked up to Shanks, and asked coldly.
