She awoke that morning. Her lips dry, the insides of her mouth and throat feeling like a desert. A quiet, groggy cough escaped her, before she slowly opened her eyes.
"Aww, good morning, Sunshine."
The sudden voice made her choke on her spit, hunching over to cough into her hand violently.
"Oh, did I startle you? You looked so comfy sleeping on me, and I didn't want to wake you.."
It was like a sensory overload. Finding herself placed upon the other woman, her legs spread out, clinging onto opposite sides of the woman's thighs, while her face was nestled between her breasts. The way the woman's arms were wrapped around her shoulder, keeping her in place as her fingers fidgeted with the loose and unkept strands of her hair.
Her heart raced uncontrollably.
"I must have.. had a really good dream.. or something.."
"More like.. a really hot night."
A short yawn was released from the barely awake woman. She then rolled to the side, getting off the other.
She pretended to ignore it. The seductive voice and how it suggested something happened that night. Nothing did. Nothing that she wanted to admit.
"mmph..."
"Sure, go ahead and crawl back to your pillow.. It's only twelve, sleep the day away."
The tan woman rolled her eyes, leaning her body forward and her hands down to touch her feet. Once she was done stretching, she got out of bed, grabbing the clothing she left on the nightstand, and clothing herself.
"I'm heading for a job interview today.. When I'm done, I'll probably see if I can find something cool in the city."
"real vague there.."
The tired woman responded, placing her head against the flat, caseless pillow on the right side of the bed. Her eyes barely able to keep open.
"Fine, jeez. If you want details, I'll give them to you... doubt you're even awake enough to understand any of it.."
"mmph.."
"Just an assassination. I got my knife, and I got a location, just at a nightclub in Tokyo. The train is what's gonna take the longest. I plan on hiding somewhere, and where the guys show up, I'll take one of them as hostage and use them to get close to the other guy. Kill the hostage, and then the last guy. Simple. If it fails, I got a gun, too."
"that seems fun.."
"and the cool thing..?"
"It's a surprise, you'll see it on Friday."
"fine.."
"before you go.."
The tired woman called out, stopping the woman from approaching the door to the bedroom.
"did you drug me or something..? My body's really heavy.."
She asked. Her voice lacked malice, sounded more of confusion and exhaustion.
"I'm pretty sure you're like that every time you sleep..."
"i don't know.. i haven't slept decently.. in a while.."
"Well, rest up then. I'll be back later, okay?"
"okay.."
The tired woman nodded weakly, watching with half-lidded eyes as the woman returned to her side, leaving behind two pats on the head, using her left hand. Then, she left the room, closing the door behind.
"She thought I drugged her.. jeez.. I'm offended..."
She rolled her eyes, sauntering down the empty hall of their apartment, ignoring the white, broken down paint on the walls.
(This is no place for us. We need better.)
A castle. A large, medieval castle, guarded by a fire breathing dragon and an army of guard, who would all be the most handsome men in the country. She could see it. Only for her and her beloved.
(Bound by virginity blood.. we might as well be married at this point.)
She thought back to her actions of the former night. How she had acted out her revenge for what Kiroku did to her while she slept. Sure, she didn't mind it, her half-awake body found it fairly pleasing. The thing she felt guilty of, was how she retaliated.
The mixings of blood. How the fangs of a viper bit down against the ovules of a fragile flower
