(Sapphire's POV)
Two weeks had gone by and Vera was still in a comatose state. The doctor talked about happy hormones, and brainwaves.
Meaning she was okay, just had to wake up.
"That's good. Thank you, doctor." I smiled and held Damian's hands tightly.
He didn't even look at the doctor and I think that was for the best because the young doctor looked ready to pee his pants.
Where was Doctor Amelia?
Atleast she wasn't scared of Damian because they were friends.
The doctor bowed and left like he couldn't wait to separate himself from the dark cloud surrounding us.
I giggled. Couldn't help it.
"Vera is doing well, and will be awake soon, hopefully. So we can go now." I told Damian:
He chuckled. "I was paying attention to the doctor, wife." He replied.
"Well, it didn't look like it." I pouted. "Anyways let's go."
He nodded, and still holding my hands, we walked out the of the room only for us to come in contact with the Baron.
"Alvin." Damian bowed a little.
