Only a handful of carefully preserved organic zones remained, like green jewels embedded in a sea of steel and wires. High-speed bullet trains connected every district in flawless efficiency, turning Wano into the beating heart of a new world order.
High up in one of the central tower's private chambers, Midas reclined on an enormous, luxurious beanbag, controller gripped tightly in his hands as he played a fully customized video game he had coded himself. Beside him sat a life-sized Tails Doll, its synthetic fur slightly glossy under the soft lights, eyes glowing with faint intelligence. The doll, now affectionately named Sage, played alongside him with unnatural precision.
"And then the bitch screamed that she was Kaido and boom—dozens of Egg Hammers wiped out in seconds," Midas grumbled, furiously pressing buttons. "I had to flatten her with torpedoes and heavy stomps. Seriously, how the hell did Kaido even raise someone like that?"
Without warning, Sage's twin mechanical tails whipped around and slapped him across the face, making his character lose the match instantly.
"PORRA, SAGE! THAT WAS A DIRTY TRICK!" Midas yelled, hurling the controller onto the floor in frustration. He stormed out of the room while Sage remained behind, performing a perfectly timed and utterly mocking Macarena dance, hips swaying in victory. After all, like father, like child.
