"Some truly incredible guys have come this time. Gabriel and Michael are both here."
Pride and the other Great Sins looked grimly at the powerful Angels descending one by one. Fortunately, that 'friend' had warned them just now; otherwise, they would have suffered massive damage and been completely unable to resist the upcoming battle. It seemed Heaven was dead set on bringing Hell into its sphere of influence this time. Pride glanced at the huge crater on the ground, a flash of relief in her eyes. Fortunately, they had listened and left; otherwise, they really wouldn't have been able to win down there.
"Not a single one died, not even an injury. It seems your Divine Art isn't working, Michael!"
Seeing that the Great Sins were not dead and hadn't even suffered a scratch, an Archangel spoke to the Angel flying in the very center. This Angel seemed to be the strongest. She looked at everything around her expressionlessly, as if she didn't care about anything, her eyes filled with indifference toward all things. She was Michael, the strongest of the seven Archangels. The Angel who teased Michael felt she was snubbing herself given the other's unapproachable demeanor. They sized up the Seven Deadly Sins, and the Seven Deadly Sins sized up Heaven's most famous Seven Virtues.
"Seven Virtues, you should know the consequences of entering Hell!"
Facing Heaven's strongest force, Pride and the others didn't show any weakness. Pride spoke to the Seven Virtues in a steady tone, but her eyes remained fixed on Michael. This woman was the one she feared most. She was the leader who commanded the entire Angel legion. It was hard to imagine that God would entrust such power to a single Angel, which showed how much trust He had in her. It also couldn't be denied that Michael was indeed strong, the strongest among all Angels. The Angel legion led by her had brought great trouble to Hell.
"Seven Deadly Sins, when did a newcomer appear? She looks quite strong!"
One of the Angels curiously observed the newly appeared face, Artoria. Having fought Hell for so many years, she had memorized the faces of the Hell Lords. Today, someone wearing black heavy armor and emitting terrifying mana had appeared, clearly a powerhouse on Hell's side. She was curious when Hell had produced such a powerful existence. Could it be the Demon King? No, hadn't the Demon King disappeared long ago? How could it be this person? Her words drew the gaze of the other Angels to Artoria. This made Artoria, who was just watching the show, very unhappy. She was just a bystander, at most an accomplice. Why was she attracting the attention of these Angels? It was truly puzzling! Artoria gave the meddling Angel an unhappy look and said nothing, standing quietly like a statue.
"That is none of your business, Seven Virtues."
Seeing the Seven Virtues' gaze fall on Artoria, Liliths appeared calm on the surface but was a bit unhappy inside. I found this person first. Although she doesn't listen to me, she still belongs to me. You hypocritical Angels don't even think about targeting my treasure. With such thoughts, especially since the opponent was the Angel she hated most, Liliths spoke coldly. She didn't want people paying too much attention to Artoria. Hiding strength was one thing, but on the other hand, she didn't know if Artoria would defect at the last moment. After all, she was human! Such things were all too common in the human world.
"Seven Virtues, if you want to fight, then fight. Don't waste words. You didn't come here to chat!"
Hearing Liliths's words, Wrath immediately stepped out to change the subject. She could no longer resist taking out her battle-axe, wanting to chop off these guys' wings to make charcoal-grilled chicken wings. The battle intent in her eyes rose steadily; she was almost unable to stop herself from unleashing her ultimate. She hated this kind of polite chatting most. In Hell, only fists were the ultimate authority. Her words were like a spark igniting a fuse. The Sins and Virtues glanced at each other, each taking out their weapons to begin the attack.
"You step back! I'll handle these two."
Seven Deadly Sins against Seven Virtues, demon grunts against Angel fodder—it was perfect. But among the Sins, there were two who were not good at fighting, one being a little kid who needed looking after. Artoria told Liliths to take the Little guy and hide far away. She summoned the blackened excalibur. Unlike the holy appearance of excalibur in Artoria's world, this sword was a demonic blade. Artoria held a demonic spear in her right hand and the demonic sword in her left, receiving the'special care' of two powerful Angels.
"Gabriel and Raphael. Although these two aren't the strongest among the Seven Virtues, their strength is not weak. Be careful."
Looking at Artoria's opponents, Liliths gave Artoria a worried instruction and then followed her advice to temporarily leave the battlefield. Mili still needed her care. Besides, she didn't think Artoria would lose to these two Angels. That powerful mana was proof enough that Artoria was no mere ornament. Setting aside her inner anxiety and unease, Liliths left the battlefield with Mili. Artoria swung her weapons, blocking the two Angels. Coincidentally, Artoria had a spear and a sword; Gabriel's weapon was a two-handed sword, and Raphael's was a long spear, matching Artoria's configuration. However, as soon as their weapons collided with Artoria's, their expressions changed, and they retreated several meters. They looked at Artoria with grim faces, their hands holding the weapons trembling involuntarily. It wasn't that they were afraid of Artoria, but the force transmitted from the weapons just now was so great that their hands could barely hold them.
"Such strong physical strength, what is your name?"
Suppressing her longsword, which had almost flown out of her hand, Gabriel curiously asked Artoria. She had originally thought this attack on Hell was a sure thing, but she hadn't expected such a dark horse to be here. To be this strong, even two six-winged Angels were held back, and she stood before them like a thick city wall. It was truly hard to believe that Heaven had received no news of such a powerful individual; Hell hadn't leaked a single word, which didn't quite fit Hell's flamboyant style.
"Artoria. You two should take my advice and return to your Heaven! This pointless battle is not necessary. Heaven is the home of Angels, and Hell is the home of demons. Why must you seize the home of demons? Your Heaven's environment is far better than Hell's."
Perhaps because the two Angels' desire to fight wasn't strong, Artoria hoped to persuade them to go back. After all, this battle between Angels and Hell had lasted for tens of thousands of years; why was it necessary to determine a winner? Hell has its value for existing, and Heaven has its value for existing. They are products of the same ecosystem, so why must they fight to the Death? Besides, this wouldn't be good for the Human Realm either. Who knows what would happen if the balance of the Three Realms was broken after Hell was destroyed.
"That's a very nice suggestion, but we cannot accept it. Also, your name isn't very suitable for a demon."
To Artoria's surprise, the two Angels shook their heads in unison without any hesitation. It seemed they had already made their mental preparations before this attack. Artoria's words didn't cause a hint of wavering in them. The Seven Virtues seemed ready to welcome a world where Hell no longer existed. She didn't know what they were thinking, but it seemed completely impossible to shake the Seven Virtues through 'Talk-no-Jutsu' now.
"Then let me see exactly what you're made of!"
Since the fight had already started, Artoria didn't plan to hold back anymore, but when facing Gabriel and Raphael, she still showed some mercy. She wasn't planning on killing them, just wanting to beat them until they couldn't move. Artoria swung the demonic sword in her hand, slashing toward Raphael, whom she instinctively felt was the weakest. She'd start by eliminating the weak first, to prevent any fusion skills or two-in-one power-ups from appearing. Under Artoria's formidable strength, the two didn't waver as they met her attack, but they were directly sent flying. Raphael, who received special attention from Artoria, had two of her wings broken, and her pure white dress became tattered. Artoria's ferocity caught the attention of the other Angels—this was a ruthless individual. But those who wanted to rescue her were blocked by the Great Sins before them. They were no longer as calm as when they first arrived in Hell; instead, they were somewhat panicked because Artoria was flying toward the defenseless Raphael, demonic spear in hand.
