Chapter 330 - Chapter 330: Odin with a Headache

"Gathering the power of all the gods, and yet it only opened up this much? This world sapling is clearly malnourished."

In the void space, the world sapling had grown to the level of Odin's chin. The space that had been successfully opened was now being expanded by an invisible force. At this moment, Odin had borrowed the power of all the gods in Asgard to stretch the space out bit by bit, but it was still far worse than he had expected. While mobilizing divine power to expand the space, Odin waved his hand, and huge meteorites were pulled into this void space. Without pausing, the meteorites flew towards the space Odin had opened. Next, a continuous series of meteorites flew into the open space. The huge meteorites began to collide violently. The force of the meteorites colliding directly ignited the impact points; the temperature seemed to be extremely high, melting all the meteorites in an instant.

But the speed at which the meteorites melted could never keep up with the speed at which Odin supplied them. Soon, a huge semi-circular continent appeared in the space. Odin's expression was very calm, but from the sweat constantly beading on his forehead, it could be seen that he was not having an easy time. This kind of thing was a very delicate task. Once the force used was too great, the explosion would detonate the meteorites, and this power might shatter the newly generated space. If the force wasn't applied correctly, it would be impossible to generate the foundation of the land, so he had to operate with high precision, which was very mentally exhausting.

"There isn't enough time to collect energy, otherwise this place would be even larger than Asgard."

After saying this with a sigh, Odin began to use the blessing of the God of Earth to modify the soil environment. Although this land was not even half the size of Asgard, it was enough for trial use. First, he would let the ordinary people live here, while the warriors and he would stay stationed on Asgard for a while before retreating. During this time, he would expand the space further and bring the meteorites over; the rest could be left to other gods to complete. The girl who had a crush on Thor happened to have the priesthood of harvest, so the crops brought over wouldn't have any problems.

"Creating a world is truly difficult. I don't know how those Creator Gods endured the loneliness to create the world bit by bit back then."

Having experienced the difficulty of creation, Odin gave a thumbs up to the Creator Gods; they were all people worthy of admiration. What kind of thought could make this group of Creator Gods endure the loneliness to create all things in the world? While thinking this, Odin introduced the sacred water of the Heavenly Palace into the space, wetting the entire continent and making the soil more solid and fertile. Some unique vegetation from Asgard also flew towards the continent. Everything was running very smoothly, just as Odin had calculated. Odin hadn't yet figured out what to do with Asgard when everyone moved into this world. Truth be told, he didn't dare to face this matter now. After all, it was his eldest daughter. If he really did that, then this daughter would truly become an enemy, an enemy with no possibility of reconciliation.

"I wonder how Thor's divine power training is going? He really is a worrying child. When will Loki ever repent? Not one of these three children is worry-free."

Now, whenever he thought of the three children, Odin felt a deep headache. None of these three children were easy to deal with; all of them had various problems. The eldest was bloodthirsty and could never be a wise King. The second one had nothing but muscles in his brain; apart from being reckless, he never saw him use his brain, and he needed to be tempered severely. The third, Loki, was simply not suited to be the ruler of a country. A person who only knew how to play petty tricks could not rule the fierce Asgardians well. In fact, Loki was quite good and had a brain, but if one had to say what was bad about Loki, it was that his luck wasn't very good. In Asgard, the King had to be the person with the strongest physique. Everyone looked down on magic and even disdained to learn it, so Loki, who specialized in magic, was tragic.

"I Hope Thor can show some improvement!"

The desire for one's children to succeed is evident everywhere, for example with Thor. Even though Odin knew his son was a fool with only muscles in his brain, he still hoped this fool could grow up, soar into the sky, and take the title of King of Asgard. In that case, he could happily sit on a small boat with Frigga, fishing and enjoying leisure time. While imagining the beautiful days in his mind, Odin did not dare to be careless with his work. If anything went wrong here, the space that had taken so much effort to complete would be ruined in his hands.

"Just to avoid marriage, you actually ran all the way here? Artoria, you really are something. What about me makes you dissatisfied?"

Just as Odin was lamenting that his later years were not fulfilling, Artoria's harem was on fire, and it had spread to her. Even if Artoria didn't go home, as long as Artoria was on Earth, how could she hide from Gaea, the Earth radar? Artoria was soon caught by Gaea. Seeing that Artoria would rather sleep outside than go home, it was obvious that she had objections to her 'perfect partner'! This made Gaea feel very aggrieved. In the past, she was a golden flower, and even the Celestials had pursued her, but she hadn't taken them seriously. But now, wanting to get married was actually a bit difficult, which was truly puzzling.

"Gaea, let me be clear with you. I want to remain single; I don't like the feeling of being bound by a family. Having games, anime, and novels as companions every day makes me happier. This kind of life is simply addictive. It's not that you, Gaea, aren't excellent, but that games are too easy to get obsessed with."

Gaea had chased her all the way here, and Artoria had no choice but to state the reason why she didn't want to get married. But Gaea believed that these were all excuses. How could a lousy game compare to her, a Goddess? Even if they were both of the same gender, there were countless women who were infatuated with her, Gaea. This was the charm of a Goddess; why didn't any of this matter to Artoria?

"You are lying. I don't believe that I, a dignified Goddess, would lose to a game."

Facing Artoria's'sophistry,' Gaea was a bit angry. If she could find a very beautiful and charming woman to stand in front of her and make her lose convincingly, that would be fine. But you used such a low-level excuse to brush me off. Do you think I'm a fool? Am I that easy to deceive? Thinking of this, Gaea's gaze towards Artoria became increasingly unkind. She didn't believe that a dignified Goddess had actually lost to a game.

"Believe it or not, but Gaea, it's not that I don't like you, but that I don't like being pressured like this. You know."

Upon hearing Gaea's words, Artoria Stark almost burst out laughing. Someone actually claimed they were more important than games, comparing themselves to a game—what a ridiculous joke. Are you kidding? Can you be as fun and entertaining as a game? Stop joking around. Besides cooking dishes that could kill someone, what else can you do? Sure, you can be a healer, but I am King Arthur with the scabbard, possessing the immortality granted by the scabbard. In other words, Artoria Stark now belongs to that class of immortal beings. Relying on her immortality, Artoria Stark has been 'cultivating' every day lately, playing her company's beta games, until Gaea appeared before her.

"In other words, I didn't lose to the game; it's just that you don't like being forced by others. I'm sorry, Artoria Stark. I won't use such methods to force you again. Come back with me! Otherwise, I'll move in too."

Artoria Stark's words made Gaea mistakenly believe she was admitting her fault. Understanding the meaning behind Artoria Stark's words, Gaea realized that Artoria Stark was someone who disliked being coerced. Thinking that she had indeed pressured Artoria Stark too much, Gaea also understood that Artoria Stark responded better to kindness than force. Gaea softened her tone, adding a coaxing note to her voice, hoping to get Artoria Stark to go home. However, Artoria Stark was not someone easily swayed. She looked into Gaea's eyes and smiled slightly, indicating that she had very important things to do and had to stay outside for a while; she needed to create powerful weapons. Gaea easily accepted this reason, gave a few words of caution, and then left.

"Compared to games, I still prefer playing games. Back to 'cultivating'."
