Chapter 263 - Chapter 263: Silver Surfer

"This Planet is truly beautiful." A silver figure standing on a surfboard-like object stood quietly on the moon. He gazed at the Earth with emotion; it was his first time seeing such a vibrant blue Planet. If he let his Master feast on something of such high quality, he would surely be rewarded. Thinking of this, the Silver Surfer, who had not yet become the 'Silver Surfer,' dove toward Earth. He needed to scout the value of this Planet and find the Little Master. This was the place where reports of the Little Master's life being in danger had come from. Food could be put aside for now; finding the Little Master was the most important thing.

"Someone with ill intent is coming. They are very fast, and they have an even more disgusting scent than that hateful girl; it's definitely left behind by Planet-killing." Gaea, who was adding seasoning to the unknown object in the pot, suddenly stopped. She sensed a malice that disgusted her greatly, even more nauseating than Galacta. The soup ladle in her hand was crushed instantly, and Gaea's eyes seemed filled with rage. She tore off her apron and vanished from the kitchen in an instant, leaving behind the unknown object still boiling in the pot. It wasn't just Gaea who sensed it; Artoria felt it too. It was a cold, extremely uncomfortable gaze, as if they were lambs waiting to be slaughtered, making one feel very uneasy inside.

"That guy is here. This is bad." Galacta also sensed the arrival of the Silver Surfer at this moment. Galacta had always disliked this guy because many of the Planets he selected were Planets possessing life, which he provided to her father, who never picked and chose and was socially withdrawn. She didn't expect him to appear here suddenly. Was he targeting Earth? If he reported this to her father, Earth might not survive. This wouldn't do. Her good friend (food) had indicated that she would not leave with her; she would stay on Earth to protect her world, so Galacta had no choice but to choose to protect Earth.

"Gaea, Galacta?" When Artoria looked for Gaea and Galacta, she found that both of them were gone. This made Artoria frown. It seemed she was being left out? Who was the opponent that came this time? Both Gaea and Galacta went; was the opponent's strength extremely powerful? Or had Galacta's father, the Planet Devourer, come over? Thinking this, Artoria started to get a headache. Honestly, if the Planet Devourer really had come, it would be very troublesome. Not to mention that the other party's stance was unclear, and it was unknown whether he would help the superheroes or become a villainous BOSS.

Although in the comics, the Planet Devourer' strength was often shown as being slaughtered in droves, with corpses enough to fill a parallel Universe, his true strength was actually quite good. As a member of the Celestials, how could his strength be so weak? He was just beaten by guys whose power levels were hundreds of times higher than his in the later stages (system collapse), so he should be classified as being at a level higher than Thanos without the Infinity Gauntlet.

While Artoria was thinking, at least three people already knew about the Silver Surfer's arrival. The Sorcerer Ancient One of Kamar-Taj also discovered the arrival of the Silver Surfer, but she did not open a portal to intervene. She was currently teaching Mr. Stephen and even intended to let him come into contact with the Time Stone to train Stephen at a faster pace. She didn't have much time to go out and protect Earth now, and besides, Earth already had two existences fully capable of protecting it. The Sorcerer Ancient One was also very relieved to leave it to Gaea and the others, as long as Gaea could ensure Artoria's safety.

"Hi! Reed, why are you so worried?" The Fantastic Three—yes, that's right, because of the absence of Susan, Johnny was not a quiet one. He began to claim to the outside world that the three of them formed a hero team. During the Manhattan incident, they did indeed stand out, but Susan completely ignored her brother's invitation. After warning Johnny, Susan officially broke away from Mr. Fantastic's path. Although the blow of unrequited love made Reed very sad, after all, his romance had ended before it even began. Now, he could only focus his energy on his work. Reed felt very sorry about the team being 'wiped out' by Namor from the ocean last time; he hadn't participated in it but was busy developing new projects. After all, he also needed money to make a living and buy some materials.

But just today, the new type of detector he made detected something different. Looking at the visualized image, that silver streak sliding across, Reed couldn't help but fall into deep thought. This speed was simply too fast; in known technological manufacturing, no energy could push an object to achieve such speed. All of this made Reed ponder. Beside him, The Thing Ben, holding a sandwich with two thick fingers, curiously watched Reed, who was staring fixedly at the screen without saying a word. Could this guy have become demented because he couldn't pick up the Flame Boy's sister!?

"The detector is operating normally, so the movement speed of this object is truly astonishing; it has already exceeded Mach 25, yet there is no energy shockwave produced. According to the speed of this object, it could be considered as firing a giant particle energy cannon on Earth. That is to say, the ground would form a crack like a grand canyon because of the object's movement, but no such traces have been found in any satellite imagery. Do you know what this represents, Ben?" While holding a pen and writing dense calculation equations on a blank sheet of paper, Reed's tone was full of interest in exploring the unknown object. This was truly unscientific. The existence of such an object—he didn't know what kind of energy was driving it to be so silent. If it could be deciphered, then perhaps in the future, humanity could completely get rid of the cumbersome spacecraft like Rockets for space travel, and humanity would enter a new era.

"Uh~! Sorry, I'm not a doctor. I'm just a military academy retiree who has worked as a mercenary. I don't know much about you geniuses. Anyway, it's just really awesome, right!?" Reed's string of words left The Thing Ben, who didn't use his brain much, even more bewildered, and he even dropped the sandwich in his hand to the ground. To ease his embarrassment, he summarized it and admitted that he was not very good at thinking, meaning he was just a rough guy, so don't make things difficult for me.

"Sorry, buddy, I was just too excited, but I must capture its movement again. If I can prove my hypothesis, it would be great. I must add a few more detectors." After hearing Ben's awkward words, Reed realized he had said the wrong thing and quickly apologized to Ben. He hurriedly saved the data, which needed to be analyzed slowly. The next time he happened to collect the movement of this object, he could use it as a comparative sample to verify his hypothesis. He was now completely unaware that the object he wanted to study actually had life, and its purpose was to find the Little Master and then offer Earth to its Master.

"Where is this?" Just as the Silver Surfer started wandering around, he suddenly entered a closed space. Like hitting a wall, the Silver Surfer stopped moving. He looked around curiously. His location had changed; from the original desert location, it had turned into a place where the ground was entirely magma. The Silver Surfer pondered; he could now be certain that this change was absolutely caused by a powerful guy who had transferred him here. "Galan's executioner? Or his kin, or perhaps an accomplice in Planet-killing."

While Silver Surfer was deep in thought, Gaea's figure slowly appeared before it. Facing this humanoid creature, Gaea could sense Galan's aura from it, which disgusted her greatly. This aura was much stronger than that girl's; she could be certain that the aura on it was even more concentrated than that girl's, which caused Gaea's murderous intent to rise sharply.
