"Amaterasu."
The black flames spread rapidly, burning the hard alloy pillar into a liquid state. This wasn't the end, as the black flames proceeded to incinerate the liquid alloy as well. Artoria's eyes shifted from red to a holy green. The stinging pain in her eyes forced her to close the one that had changed. This was the genuine article, the strongest clan of Konoha's 'red-eye disease'... ahem! The Sharingan, and specifically Uchiha Itachi's Sharingan.
After Artoria stopped using Itachi's ability, the three black Tomoe on her chest, which looked like a mark, slowly faded from her body. It wasn't so much a disappearance as it was lying dormant within her again. Now, Artoria's offensive means were even more formidable. Let's not release a Noble Phantasm if we don't have to; playing around with a few Amaterasu shots first isn't bad. If you die, it just means you weren't worthy of making me use a Noble Phantasm.
Artoria had struck gold this time. For the first time, a Naruto character had appeared, and it was someone as powerful as Itachi. Fire Release, Genjutsu, and that pair of Mangekyo Sharingan were all granted to Artoria. Having watched Naruto, Artoria believed that if Itachi hadn't been terminally ill and had fused with Sasuke's eyes, how strong would he have been! Although he might not have surpassed Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Obito would definitely have been crushed.
"Itachi, if we were to meet in reality, could you answer me one question: which is more important, the Village or Sasuke?"
Artoria felt it was fate that she had inherited Itachi's abilities. She had long wanted to ask Mr. Itachi that question. And one last thing: every time he went on a mission with Kisame, was it always Kisame who did all the work while he just waited in a nearby dango shop?
"Nostalgia! This is a memory of childhood."
Artoria touched her chest with emotion, feeling the soft, smooth white skin where the black Tomoe had just appeared. These eyes were filled with the nostalgic scent of Artoria's past life, and she swore she would protect them well.
"If I had the strongest Genjutsu, Kotoamatsukami, could I hypnotize Thanos into a shut-in otaku? The world would be so much more harmonious then."
"Chasing anime, playing games, and maybe raising a 'Galactic Sisters' idol group to sing across the Universe—that would be nice. Nebula and Gamora both have great figures; they'd surely have a huge fan Base."
Suddenly thinking of Shisui's ultimate ocular technique, Artoria's imagination ran wild. If things were really as she imagined, how fun would this world be! She could eat popcorn while watching the Galactic Sisters perform. How wonderful. The world is so beautiful, yet the brain-damaged Thanos is so boring. Indeed, the Purple Sweet Potato should still be eliminated.
"It's finished, Artoria."
Stepping out of the training room she had built with a massive investment, Artoria took a fragrant bath and returned to her office. Before she could even get her seat warm, Hope confidently pushed open the door carrying a box and walked up to her. She spoke to Artoria happily and pressed a button on the Black Box. The box opened automatically, revealing three items: a pair of bracelets, a belt, and a necklace. They were all silver-white in style, and the Miniature Arc Reactors on them sparkled like sapphires, making the activators look as exquisite as matching jewelry.
"Thank you for your hard work. I didn't expect you to finish it in just two days. Your speed is amazing."
Artoria had originally thought Hope would deliver right at the deadline. She didn't expect that during the two days she spent in the training room after gaining Itachi's power, they would have completed it entirely. As expected of Dr. Pym's daughter, she inherited his talent.
"Let me give it a try."
Seeing the expectant look in Hope's eyes, Artoria smiled and picked up the three items from the box, putting them on easily. Without needing assistance, her right hand lightly tapped the buckle on the belt, and a string of tiny data code flashed across it.
"Fingerprint input successful."
"Initiating suit-up."
Saturday's voice came from the buckle. It seemed Saturday was still in charge of the system. Quickly, the belt, bracelets, and necklace began to release a large amount of liquid Nanomolecules, forming components one by one over Artoria's body. In less than three seconds, Artoria was wearing a domineering, silver-themed combat suit.
"Suit-up complete. System online."
The previously dark visor began to change under Saturday's command. Data slid across Artoria's vision like a computer booting up, and her entire field of view lit up. In Hope's eyes, the eye section of Artoria's helmet also lit up. She breathed a sigh of relief; no glitches occurred, and the system was running smoothly.
"This thing feels pretty good. No wonder my big brother likes playing with suits so much."
She waved her hands and moved around, finding the suit to be even more fluid than she had imagined. The power system was beyond reproach. With Saturday's assistance, Artoria easily flew into the air. The thrusters on her feet were excellent. Artoria was very satisfied with this creation, though whether it could protect her from cosmic rays remained to be seen.
"I'm very satisfied with this suit. Thank you both."
She played around a bit more; as for the firepower, she'd find a time to test that later. She didn't want to blow her office to bits. After deactivating the suit, Artoria looked at the exquisite activators on her wrists and spoke to Hope with satisfaction. These words made Hope ecstatic; she had been waiting for this.
"Um, could we go out together tonight..."
"master, an important guest is here to visit."
Before Hope could finish her sentence, Saturday interrupted her as if on purpose, announcing a visitor. This left Hope a bit deflated. She could only smile awkwardly, say "you go ahead and get busy," and leave with a look of disappointment.
"Quite the 'important' guest indeed! Have you made up your mind, Mystique?"
Looking at that familiar receding hairline, Artoria smilingly saw through the other party's disguise. Wasn't this Mystique transformed into Phil? Don't ask how she knew; her intuition told her the man in front of her was a girl.
"You found me out after all."
Her special skin rippled, and a blue-skinned girl with a sexy, hot figure appeared before Artoria. Over the past two days, Raven had thought it through. Since there was no better place to go, staying by Artoria's side wasn't a bad idea. Consequently, she decided to carry out Magneto's orders and stay by Artoria's side as an undercover agent.
"My intuition is natural; it told me a great beauty was coming today."
Artoria's flirtatious words left Raven stunned. To be called a great beauty by another woman whose beauty seemed otherworldly—honestly, she was quite happy.
"I Hope you enjoy your stay here."
While Raven was being charmed senseless, Artoria approached her and spoke toward a camera. An invisible Mechanical Mosquito appeared near Raven. Taking advantage of her distraction, it drew a bit of her blood. This was modeled after the robot used by the doctor who created Cell in Dragon Ball to collect blood from martial artists. The blood draw numbed the skin, leaving no sensation, no toxins, and no swelling—a perfect helper for collecting materials. Without knowing it, Raven had a blood sample taken by Artoria.
