Light from the system's installation glowed softly along the stone walls, turning cold rock into something almost… welcoming. Lizzy stood in the center of the main chamber, staring at the freshly carved garden beds Phantom had prepared for her.
Rows of dark soil stretched before her, rich and damp, carried in from outside and carefully packed down.
It was the first step toward something stable. Something safe.
She had planted the first seeds deep into the soil of one of the boxes and covered it with her fingers before infusing it with traces of her own energy. Now, she stood before the other boxes, her eyes flickering before her.
