Adrian received a pack call from Melissa, " Melissa says they might take a few more days to clear the Gadra." He told Annie.
" Are they strong?" Annie asked.
" She didn't say but if she said it would take a few days, then they must be, or there might be too many of them." He replied.
" Should we send more help?" She asked but he shook his head. Just like that, an entire week went by.
Adrian was acclimating rapidly to his new power, one morning while he was sparring with Annie he felt a shudder.
" What's wrong?" Annie asked, for somebody at Adrian's level, a shudder was not meaningless.
He must've detected something terrifying enough to make his body react to it. This made her nervous as well.
" Two more seals have been broken." He told her.
" The sins?" She asked casually, as dangerous as the sins were, they were not a world ending threat.
