After this incident, the Magic Council's prestige has dropped significantly. If Lahar cannot step up, it will be completely destroyed.
Acnologia and the others left. Where the Magic Council would go in the future no longer had anything to do with them; they had their own things to do.
"Oración Seis has disappeared, and even the Magic Particles were taken away. This is not good."
Erza's expression was grave. She had heard from the Master that the Magic Particles were incredibly terrifying, capable of destroying a city in a single strike.
Acnologia nodded slightly. "Compared to those Magic Particles, the Magic Council has an even more terrifying weapon called face. Once activated, it can eliminate all magic on the entire continent."
It was confirmed that the Magic Particles had been taken, but face was linked organically to three councilors. The specific identities of those three councilors were unknown; even the councilors themselves did not know if they were linked.
In the original story, Tartaros was dedicated to erasing the continent's magic to revive END. As long as those three councilors died, face would be activated.
Since they didn't know who the three councilors were, Tartaros chose to kill everyone who had ever served as a councilor.
"Eliminate the continent's magic..."
Irene was somewhat surprised. No wonder the Magic Council could lead the magic world; they had such a weapon supporting them.
This was not good. If face were activated, she would likely lose her magic as well. It was hard to say if Dragon Power could even be used then.
Natsu, on the other hand, didn't think about what it would be like to lose magic. With his brain capacity, he couldn't think that far ahead.
However, the prospect of a fight still made him very excited. He immediately asked, "So what do we do? Should we go destroy Tartaros and take face back?"
"Let me think..."
Acnologia felt it was a bit tricky. In the original story, face was activated by Tartaros. If Igneels Five Dragons hadn't taken action, the magic of the entire continent would likely have been erased.
Now, he didn't know where Igneel and the others had gone. Whether he, Irene, and Number One could destroy it before face completely eliminated the continent's magic remained an unknown.
"I have an idea!"
Acnologia's eyes lit up as he thought of a good plan. "Jellal is one of the organic links for face. I might be able to detach Jellal's organic link and attach it to myself."
As long as the authority to activate face was in his hands, he didn't believe anyone else could start it.
"Wait for me a moment."
Leaving those words behind, Acnologia hurried away.
Erza watched his retreating back, her eyes filled with doubt. "Where is Dad going?"
"How should I know? Looking at the direction, it's the Magic Council."
Irene found a stone bench and sat down leisurely.
Since Acnologia said he had a way, there certainly was a way; she didn't need to strain her brain... Soon, Acnologia found Jellal, who hadn't left yet, and explained the situation to him.
Jellal was somewhat surprised and then agreed. He had witnessed Acnologia's strength, and since Acnologia wasn't a councilor, those from Tartaros probably wouldn't even dream of it.
The process went without a hitch, and face's organic link was transferred to Acnologia.
Unlike the other councilors who were completely unaware, Acnologia could clearly feel the connection to face. Not only that, but if the other two councilors with organic links died, he could activate face himself.
After everything was finished, Acnologia asked, "What are your plans now?"
Jellal said, "The sins of our Tower of Paradise have not yet been repaid. So, I will form a new guild with Ultear and Meredy. It won't belong to the Guild of Justice or the Dark Guild, but will be dedicated to eliminating evil."
Ultear also strongly agreed. "I originally wanted to join the Fairy Tail Guild, but since my sins haven't been cleared, it would bring you trouble. So, it's better to form a new guild."
As for her mother, Ur, she would go back and explain the situation. She believed her mother would support her.
Acnologia nodded slightly; this was just like the original story. "Then does your guild have a name?"
Jellal shook his head and then said thoughtfully, "How about calling it the Atonement Trio?"
As soon as he said this, everyone had a look of disgust. What a terrible name. Since you're all villains, you might as well call it the Villains Guild; at least that sounds like a guild name.
Acnologia suggested, "Let's call it Crime Sorcière."
"'Witch'?"
Jellal pointed to himself. "Then what about me?"
I'm not a woman. Is it appropriate for a grown man like me to be called a 'Witch'?"
Ultear felt that'Sorcière' suited her perfectly and immediately said, "We'll use that name!"
Jellal looked resentfully at the three chuckling people. "Can I say I don't agree?"
Meredy giggled. "No, I support Ultear. Two votes to one!"
In the END, Jellal couldn't win them over, and the guild name became Crime Sorcière.
Arguing with women was not his forte, let alone two unreasonable women.
Jellal sighed helplessly and then said, "Then so be it."
He looked at Acnologia. "Next, we plan to capture the members of Oración Seis. They are also victims of the Tower of Paradise, and we hope to save those guys as well."
Acnologia smiled. "Then I wish you success!"
He didn't have much ill will toward Oración Seis. After all, they were just a group of children who had been persecuted since childhood and took the wrong path when they grew up. It was a good thing if Jellal could recruit them to atone for their sins.
Of course, that was provided Oración Seis didn't stand in his way again; he couldn't guarantee he wouldn't get angry and kill them.
After chatting for a while, Acnologia found Irene, the other two, and the cat again, telling them that face had been dealt with and that Jellal and the others had established Crime Sorcière.
Erza shook her head and said, "Gray was hoping Ur and Ultear would join Fairy Tail together. It seems that wish is impossible now."
Actually, she didn't think there would be any problem with Ultear joining Fairy Tail. After all, not everyone who joined the guild was a good person at first.
Just like Gajeel and Juvia back then; they were members of the Phantom Lord Guild. They had not only injured their own guild members but even tried to fire the Magic Convergence Cannon to eliminate everyone.
Irene hugged Erza from behind, rested her chin on her shoulder, and said lazily, "So now, where should we go to find the Eclipse Gate?"
The conflict between Tartaros and the Magic Council wasn't considered a war, and not much magic power had been released, so those two individuals from the Eclipse Gate definitely wouldn't appear.
Acnologia also felt it was a bit troublesome. None of the plans were working. Now they could only wait for someone to take a mission and provide clues.
"There's no good way. There are no magic wars or competitions or anything. Let's go back to the Heartfilia Family for now."
He believed the person who stole the Eclipse Gate was also very distressed and would likely take action soon.
