Harold pointed toward the window.
"The Bana symbol outside is the badge of the Markey Company. Their influence stretches across the entire continent. With their reputation, very few people dare cause trouble here."
He leaned back.
"And Montenegro Fortress is surrounded by mountains rich with spirit beasts. Mercenaries and adventurers constantly bring back materials, hides, bones, crystals, and herbs. A company like Markey would never ignore such a profitable place."
Sienna nodded again.
That made perfect sense.
She had already learned from the miscellaneous books that many materials used by alchemists and pharmacists came from spirit beasts.
The claws, hides, bones, organs, and magical cores of these creatures were all valuable.
Entire livelihoods were built around hunting them.
Yet another question rose in her mind.
"Grandpa Harold," she asked, "where do adventurers receive missions? In the novels I read in my previous life, there were always adventurer guilds."
