Chapter 123 - Chapter 119 : ...

(Hey buddies how are you,, so I'm finally back! I literally tried my best to complete it as soon as possible but....in bw of my so called unscheduled schedule, I ended up taking this much time.

Also I tried my best...but I don't know anything else..I mean ofc I seriously didn't know what to write in which month, so I researched and tried my best...and other things...i don't know...but yeah I can say....try to imagine this delulu.)

The third month arrived in the

blink of an eye.

Where the early weeks had felt like a blurred sequence of quiet morning routines and growing realization, month three brought a whole new rhythm to the Watson household.

Keifer's entire life had shifted completely on its axis.

The ruthless, impeccably organized CEO who used to spend twelve hours a day locked in boardrooms now had a fixed, non-negotiable appointment every single afternoon:

coming home for at least an hour or two just to be with Jay.

From the very second he had found out about her pregnancy, a hyper-protective, doting parental mode had taken over his entire personality.

He fussed over her constantly, checking her food, her water intake, her rest schedule, and her comfort level with a fierce, unwavering devotion that easily put even Mrs. Watson to shame.

...

It was a quiet, warm afternoon when Keifer stepped into their master bedroom.

He had slipped away from the corporate tower early, carrying a tray of fresh, warm noodles he had personally asked the kitchen staff to prepare according to her exact preferences.

He walked over to the small table near the balcony, carefully setting down the bowl, placing the utensils beside it, and adjusting the glass of water.

He had just placed the noodles on the table when-

"KEIFERRRRR!"

Jay's sharp, loud voice echoed straight out of the washroom, slicing through the quiet room and making him flinch violently.

"KEIFERRRRRRR!"

"Jay...!" Keifer panicked instantly.

His heart slammed against his ribs like a train, the tray almost slipping from his hands as he pivoted on his heel and sprinted toward the washroom doors.

"KEIFERRRRR!"

He nearly tripped over the edge of the rug, his footing unstable as pure terror surged through his veins.

"JAYYY! WHAT HAPPENED? ARE YOU FINE?!"

Tears were already on the edge of coming out of his eyes, his dark gaze wild with frantic anxiety as he swung the washroom door open with a sudden, desperate slam.

"Jay..."

he breathed heavily, his chest heaving up and down, his grip white-knuckled around the door frame.

But instead of finding her in pain or distress, he stood completely frozen, holding the door knob, his breath hitching in his throat.

Jay was standing in the center of the brightly lit washroom, right in front of the long vanity mirror.

Her dark hair was tumbling loosely over her shoulders, and her hands were holding the hem of her loose, oversized t-shirt pulled up to her waist, completely revealing her midriff.

She turned her head to look at him, her dark eyes sparkling with a pure, electric joy.

"Keifer... see!"

she exclaimed excitedly, her face lighting up with a huge, radiant grin as she pointed enthusiastically at her stomach.

"It's showing!

My baby bump!"

There, on her normally flat midsection, was a soft, tiny, unmistakable curve-a small, precious swell that hadn't been there weeks before.

Keifer stayed motionless for a long beat.

Slowly, his tense shoulders fell.

He let out a long, heavy exhale of the breath he had been holding in his chest, the sheer panic draining out of him, replaced by an overwhelming, breathless wave of relief and awe.

He let go of the door knob and crossed the small space between them in two broad strides.

Without a word, he stepped up behind her and wrapped his long, broad arms securely around her waist.

He pulled her flush against his chest, his large palms coming to rest gently right over her small, soft bump.

"Oh, sunshine..."

he whispered softly, his deep voice thick with emotion as he dropped his head onto her shoulder, burying his face into the crook of her neck.

His fingers slowly reached up, gently combing through her soft hair, holding her close as if she were the most delicate, priceless treasure in the world.

Jay stood completely shocked by his sudden, intense reaction, her heart melting at the deep, trembling sigh he let out against her skin-

a silent vow of love from a man who was already completely, utterly devoted to her and the little life they had created together.

**

The fourth month started on a bright, sunny afternoon, and the entire Watson home was buzzing with chaotic excitement.

Jay was inside the washroom putting on the finishing touches to her outfit when Keifer walked into the grand bedroom, frantically checking his watch for the hundredth time.

"Jayyyyy! Are u ready?",

keifer call jay who was in washroom getting ready.

"Keifer see!",

jay chirp happily, swaying her large, dramatic flower frock and happily twirling around like a joyful princess.

He look at her, completely frozen in his tracks.

"It's looking nice right?", see mom brought me sooooo many dresses like these, and wow...., "

she twirl again, her dress puffing out,

"this pregnancy dress is looking more beautiful even than my normal dresses."

She looked at her whole reflection in the giant long mirror, turning side to side to admire every single luxurious, soft fold.

"Its so..... comfortable and ....beautiful too,"

she said as she burst out in loud, uncontrollable giggles bcoz of her own adorable look.

And keifer just look at her with an insanely soft, utterly mesmerized smile on his face as he saw her glowing ten times brighter with her small bump, her sweet, radiant small smile that could melt his heart in a single point,

and her breathless, ringing giggle-oh god!...ready to outright kill him right on the spot.

She look towards him,

"ok tell me how am I looking?",

she ask with a bright, wildly dramatic grin.

He chuckle softly, stepping close to pinch her soft nose gently,

"cute...very cute,"

he said as he place a lingering, dangerously tender peck against her soft lips.

She giggle happily.

She wrap her arms securely around his neck, and he caught her firmly by waist, pulling her flush against his chest.

"Btw where are we going," she ask.

"Umm... that's....,"

he started, his dark eyes instantly flying everywhere across the room, looking here and there, completely short-circuiting and not able to find a single believable answer, making her narrow her dark eyes with immediate, deadly suspicion.

"Keiferrrr....?"

"Umm....yes...we...we are going to....umm...,"

Before his brilliant corporate brain could search for any answer....

"Jayyyy! Are u ready for checkupppp?"

"Soph this is not how u enter in couple's room!"

Soph loudly entered the room with a massive, wicked grin, with Mrs. Watson charging in right behind her ready to smack her across the head.

Jay turn towards keifer with dangerously narrow, terrifying eyes.

He turn his head towards jay, but turn back as fast as lightning the absolute millisecond he saw her shooting pure, lethal daggers at him.

"KEIFERRRR!"

jay call out in a bone-chilling voice.

Keifer look up at ceiling, staring intensely at the chandelier as if praying for it to swallow him whole.

"MARK KEIFER WATSON!" ,

she said In a super serious, thunderous tone.

He turn his head back towards her with a hundred frantic, desperate prayers running in his mind.

"Yes baby...!",

he ask, giving his absolute most helpless, sweating, sheepish smile.

"Aww....my handsome husband!",

what is sophia saying?

"I was saying you have a appointment with the doctor, today's your checkup day!",

soph chirm in just to earn a terrifying, murderous glare of pure rage from Keifer and an immediate, heavy, dramatic facepalm from Mrs. Watson.

"No no no no no!, I'm not going to doctor!"

"But baby...."

"No....no baby!",

jay cut him Instantly, taking three big steps back with wide, terrified eyes,

"I remember what she said last time, she said she's gonna give me an injection this time!

Nah nah nah I'm not going!"

"Baby we have to go, it won't hurt I promise,"

Keifer pleaded, taking a cautious step forward, using his absolute gentlest, most persuasive tone.

"Nooo and no means no!

If u want then....yes just take one injection on your arm ok,

don't ask me!"

Jay declared fiercely, glaring right at him with absolute defiance.

"But it won't help u baby!"

Keifer groaned, running a hand through his dark hair in complete desperation.

"Nooo,"

she snapped, crossing her arms tightly over her chest and sitting stubbornly on the edge of the bed, turning her back to him completely.

He sat near her on the mattress, carefully trying to touch her hand, but she swatted it away instantly with a sharp clap.

"Sunshine..."

Ignored.

She stared directly at the wall, her chin held impossibly high.

"Baby..."

Ignored.

Not even a single twitch of her head.

"Darling..."

Ignored.

Total, complete radio silence.

"Sweetheart! It's for our baby...,"

Keifer whispered softly, leaning in close with his absolute softest, most desperate gaze.

"We are going to be parents right?

We need to take care of our baby."

That when she turn towards him with a pout, her dark eyes shining with pure hesitation.

"...but....what if it hurts?"

Keifer's entire expression softened, feeling a tiny glimmer of hope.

"It won't I promise."

She tilted her head, giving him a sweet, fake smile.

"Oh really hubby!

When did u become a horoscope?"

Keifer blinked, his whole CEO brain freezing mid-thought.

"Huh!?"

She rolled her eyes dramactically, getting up off the bed in one swift motion, completely bypassing his stunned face.

"Nothing! Mom, let's go!"

Mrs. Watson let out a soft laugh, immediately stepping aside to lead the way, while Sophia burst into loud giggles, pointing at her brother's completely bewildered face.

Keifer just sat there on the edge of the mattress, utterly dazed by how fast his wife had switched from refusing to moving, before scrambling up to chase after his stubborn, glowing wifey.

They reached the hospital and were waiting in the quiet, luxurious VIP ward.

"Jay... don't be afraid, ok? We're here!"

Soph said, dropping her voice into an absurdly rigid, military-grade command tone.

Jay immediately straightened her back, answering with the exact same deadpan, soldier-like voice.

"Don't worry, Soph... I'll handle that."

Meanwhile, Mrs. Watson and Keifer watched the two of them with one eyebrow raised in deep skepticism.

A few minutes later, the female doctor walked into the room accompanied by a nurse.

Jay's tough posture instantly crumbled as she let out a heavy gulp.

The doctor greeted them warmly, stepped over toward Jay, and pulled out the sterile injection.

But the absolute second she turned around with the prepped needle-

"Mrs. Watson...?"

The doctor paused, looking around the room in total confusion, along with everyone else.

"Where did she go?"

Mom asked, blinking.

"Mom! She's invisible!"

Soph chimed in with wide eyes.

"Shut up, Soph!"

Mom snapped.

Meanwhile, Keifer let out a heavy, exhausted sigh.

"Sunshine... this is not how it works!"

"No, no, no, Keif!

See, that needle's so long!"

Jay's trembling voice echoed from directly behind his back.

Everyone turned their eyes toward him.

Jay was completely hiding behind Keifer's broad frame, clinging to his suit jacket and peeking out with wide, terrified eyes right at the sharp metal tip.

Mom just shook her head in fond disbelief, while Soph blinked in utter surprise.

Keifer gently caught her hands, coaxing her out from her hiding spot, and softly made her sit on the edge of the examination bed.

"Keif..."

she sulked, her bottom lip poking out in a massive pout.

"Baby..."

he murmured softly, pointing down at her cute, rounded belly.

"Ugh! Ok!"

Jay huffed in dramatic defeat.

"But please stay here!"

She instantly reached up and clutched his shoulder like a lifeline.

He cupped her cheek tenderly, looking straight into her dark eyes.

"Yes, baby, don't worry, I'm here."

The doctor smiled at the adorable sight and stepped close to her with the injection.

Jay stared directly at the shiny needle, and the exact second the doctor was just about to inject it-

"AAAAA! KEIFERRRRR! NOOOO!"

Jay shrieked, burying her face straight into his torso, gripping his waist for dear life.

"Keif, please no, it's so long! It'll hurt!"

"It won't, I'm telling you,"

Keifer coaxed gently, stroking her hair.

"And what if it did?!"

she wailed against his shirt.

He leaned down right to her ear, his deep voice thick with absolute, dramatic devotion.

"Then I'll take it on my arm."

SMACK!

"Ow!"

Keifer winced, rubbing his arm.

Jay had slapped his shoulder hard, before immediately pressing her face right back into his chest with a look of utter horror.

"So gross of your flirty lines!"

she yelled, making a disgusted face against his suit.

"Mood swings,"

Soph muttered under her breath, standing right next to them with her arms crossed.

Mrs. Watson just dragged a hand down her face, letting out a heavy facepalm.

Keifer signaled the doctor with a quick nod to proceed, holding Jay tightly in his arms so she wouldn't squirm.

Very slowly and carefully, the doctor administered the injection into her arm.

"Ow!"

Jay sulked loudly as a single, dramatic tear slid down her cheek.

Keifer pulled her back slowly, holding her by her shoulders to look at her face, instantly spotting her wet cheeks.

"Sunshine... does it hurt?"

"No,"

Jay sniffled softly, looking away.

"Then why are you crying?"

he asked softly, wiping the tear away with his thumb.

Jay sniffled again, pouting up at him.

"Because... I'm feeling like it!"

"Mood swings,"

Soph muttered once more.

And Mom facepalmed all over again.

**

The fifth month arrived, bringing even more cozy, chaotic evenings to the Watson mansion.

It was almost night time, and the entire family was gathered in the main lobby, relaxing together.

Mrs. Watson was comfortably curled up on an armchair, busy scrolling through her tablet, looking at the latest designer maternity dresses for Jay and adorable newborn clothes for the upcoming baby.

Keifer sat right beside Jay, his laptop balanced on his thighs, intensely reading a digital guide on mid-pregnancy health with his sharpest corporate focus.

And Soph... she was sitting on the rug nearby, staring at Jay in absolute, utterly horrified disbelief.

Jay was sitting comfortably right in the center of the big couch, the TV remote clutched firmly in her hand, completely locked into the screen.

"Jay... why the hell are u watching this... ugh!

These little creatures are so.... irritating,"

Soph complained with a thoroughly disgusted face.

She turned her glare toward her father, who was leaning forward on the sofa next to Jay.

"And Dad! Why are u watching it with this much focus?!"

Jay was happily watching Oggy and the Cockroaches, and Mr. Watson was somehow ridiculously invested in the cartoon, gasping and wincing with different reactions as Oggy chased the three cockroaches across the screen.

Mr. Watson completely ignored Soph, far too busy silently cheering for Oggy to care about his daughter's whining.

Soph let out a dramatic sigh, flopping down right beside Jay on the couch and pulling out her phone to scroll through social media instead.

Then-

"Soph..."

Jay called out in a low, terrifyingly serious tone.

Soph slid her phone down, turning her face with a raised brow.

"Huh?"

Jay whipped her face toward her in a fast, sudden swishhh like a possessed movie witch, making Soph flinch violently in her seat.

Jay tilted her head slowly, her dark eyes wide and unblinking.

"You were asking me, right?

That why I'm watching this..."

she said in a raspy, eerie witch voice, slowly leaning toward Soph until her face was mere inches away.

Soph gasped, leaning back as far as humanly possible, her eyes wide with mounting terror.

Mrs. Watson, Mr. Watson, and Keifer all snapped their heads toward the couch, watching the sudden horror scene unfold in complete surprise.

Keifer paused his typing, his fingers freezing over his keyboard as he blinked at his wife.

"Actually..."

Jay whispered, her smile stretching into a creepy grin.

"I. WANT. TO. PULL. THOSE. COCKROACHES. OUT, FRY... AND EAT THEMMMMM!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Soph let out a blood-curdling scream, losing her balance completely and falling headfirst off the couch onto the carpet in pure, chaotic fear.

"MOMMMMMM!

SHE WANTS TO EAT COCKROACHES!

MY BESTIE TURNED INTO A WITCHHHHH!"

Soph shrieked, scrambling backward on her hands and knees toward Mrs. Watson.

Jay sat up normally, blinking with an innocent expression.

"What, Soph...?

What happened?

I'm telling the truth... I wanna eat cockroaches."

"Ewwwwwww!

Gross, Jay!

Just shut up!"

Soph screamed, clapping her hands tightly over her ears and curling into a ball on the floor.

The heavy silence in the lobby broke in an instant as everyone burst out into roaring laughter.

Mr. Watson chuckled heartily, Mrs. Watson hid her face behind her tablet while laughing uncontrollably, and Keifer just shook his head with a deep, helpless laugh, shaking his head at his wife's insane antics.

Jay leaned back against the cushions, laughing so hard that tears welled up in her eyes, gently cupping her soft, rounded belly with both hands as her hilarious pregnancy craving prank landed perfectly.

Jay was still laughing hard, holding her belly as Soph scrambled up from the carpet, dusting off her clothes while twisting her face into the most utterly disgusted expression she could muster.

When suddenly-

"Ow!"

The tiny gasp tumbled right out of Jay's throat.

Her laughter cut off in a split second, and her entire body instantly froze in place.

"Jayy! What happened?!"

Keifer panicked instantly.

In a heart-stopping second, his laptop was tossed aside, slamming onto the coffee table as he scrambled closer to her, his chest heaving with sharp, ragged breaths.

"Keif..."

she whispered, her voice barely audible, her body remaining completely motionless on the sofa.

"Yes, Jay, just tell me!

What happened?!

Are you hurt?

Is there a pain?!

What happened?!"

Keifer's voice cracked, his usual calm, icy executive composure dissolving into raw, terrifying panic.

In a flash, the entire family descended around the couch.

Mr. Watson jumped to his feet, Mrs. Watson pressed her hands against her mouth in absolute horror, and Soph dropped to her knees right in front of Jay.

"Jay... what happened?!"

Soph sobbed, tears instantly pooling in her wide eyes, her hands shaking violently as she hovered over her best friend, completely frantic and not knowing what to do.

"Keifer, get her to the hospital!"

Soph cried out, tears spilling down her cheeks, setting off a chain reaction as panic gripped every single person in the room.

"No... Keif... just... give me your hand,"

Jay whispered slowly, her body still delicately frozen, a sudden, soft light breaking into her dark eyes.

Before Keifer could even process her words or react to the wild frenzy around them, Jay reached out, took his trembling, cold palm, and placed it firmly against the lower curve of her soft, rounded belly.

Keifer opened his mouth to shout for the driver, but the exact second his broad hand pressed flat against the fabric of her dress... he felt it.

Thump.

A tiny, delicate flutter.

A soft, unmistakable press from the inside, nudging right against his palm.

Keifer's breath caught in his throat.

His entire world instantly narrowed down to the small, warm space beneath his hand.

His frantic, dark eyes widened in absolute, breathtaking shock, his jaw slackening as he stared at her bump, completely paralyzed.

"Baby... Baby just..."

Keifer stammered, his deep, commanding voice reduced to a breathless, awe-struck whisper.

"Baby kicked,"

Jay breathed out, a watery, radiant smile blooming across her face as a single tear of pure joy slipped down her cheek.

"Our baby just kicked."

The suffocating panic in the room vanished in a heartbeat, replaced by a stunned, sacred silence.

Keifer fell to his knees on the rug beside her.

The ruthless, powerful CEO looked like a little boy experiencing a miracle for the first time.

A breathless, ecstatic smile slowly broke across his handsome face-

a expression so tender and raw it made everyone's breath hitch.

He leaned down, pressing his forehead against her bump, his hand never leaving the spot where their BABY had just greeted him.

Tears welled in his own eyes, shining under the warm lobby lights.

"Oh my god..."

Soph gasped, wiping her tear-stained cheeks with her sleeves before breaking into a tearful, bubbling laugh.

"You idiot!

You terrified us!

"Baby kicked?!"

Mrs. Watson cried out, letting out a half-sob, half-laugh as she threw her arms around Mr. Watson, who was wiping a stray tear from his own eyes while grinning like a proud grandfather.

"Let me feel!

Let me feel!"

Soph practically dove forward, placing her hand right beside Keifer's, gasping in pure delight as another tiny nudge pressed against their fingers.

Jay leaned her head back against the cushions, her heart overflowing as she watched her chaotic, loving family gather around her,

while her hyper-possessive, tough husband remained softly kneeling at her feet, whispering gentle, emotional vows directly into her stomach.

**

The seventh month arrived like a sudden thunderstorm over the Watson mansion, carrying a heavy mix of sweet anticipation, physical exhaustion, and absolute, unfiltered chaos.

Jay's bump had transformed from a gentle, subtle curve into a prominent, beautifully rounded balloon.

Carrying their growing little child was no easy feat;

her lower back ached constantly, her feet were perpetually swollen to the point where comfortable shoes were a distant memory,

and even walking from the bed to the washroom left her softly out of breath.

Yet, despite the physical toll, Jay radiated an undeniable,

breathtaking pregnancy glow.

Her skin was soft and flushed, her dark eyes sparkled with unpredictable energy,

and her cheeks held a healthy, chubby rosy tint that Keifer found utterly irresistible.

At seven months, their little child was active, kicking up a storm inside at all hours of the night,

turning Jay's sleep schedule into a complete gamble.

But while the baby's health was thriving and perfect,

Jay's emotions and appetites had reached a level of volatile madness that tested the sanity of everyone under the mansion's roof.

The morning sun filtered softly through the heavy velvet curtains of the master suite, casting a warm golden glow across the polished hardwood floors.

Keifer stood in front of the full-length mirror, adjusting the silk tie at his collar.

Dressed in his sharp, charcoal-grey tailored suit, he looked every bit the formidable, multi-billionaire CEO ready to dominate the corporate world.

Once his jacket was buttoned and his watch secured, he turned around, his expression instantly softening as his gaze landed on his wife.

Jay was sitting right at the edge of the massive king-sized bed.

She was wearing one of her soft, oversized maternity nightgowns that draped comfortably over her heavy, prominent bump.

Her hair was a messy, adorable bedhead halo, and she was staring intensely at the plain white wall across the room, her index finger tapping rhythmically against her chin in deep, mysterious thought.

Keifer's heart melted at the sight.

A fond smile spread across his handsome face as he quietly walked across the room toward her.

Stepping close, he leaned down, tilting his head to press a sweet, loving good-morning kiss against

her soft, flush cheek.

But before his lips could even make contact with her skin-

Thump!

Jay's hand landed flat against his chest, pushing him away with surprising force for a pregnant woman.

Keifer froze, stumbling back half a step.

He looked at her in absolute shock, his dark eyes wide with confusion.

Jay didn't laugh.

She simply turned her head, her dark eyes narrowing into sharp, lethal slits as she glared directly into his soul.

"Don't. Touch. ME,"

she warned in a low, thunderous voice.

Keifer raised a brow, completely baffled.

"Sunshine... what happened?"

"Eww!"

Jay responded instantly, twisting her features into a deeply disgusted, revolted face, looking at him as if he were a walking pile of trash.

Keifer's jaw practically dropped.

The man who commanded entire boardrooms was currently being looked at with pure revulsion by his five-foot-something wife.

"Eww!"

she repeated, shivering dramatically.

"This kiss piss is so gross.

Just stay away!"

Keifer blinked, his corporate brain completely short-circuiting.

"What? Kiss piss? But..."

He took a cautious step forward, reaching a hand out toward her.

"Baby, I just wanted to kiss my wifey-"

"Eww! Don't come near me, otherwise I'll vomit!"

Jay gasped, dramatically clapping both hands over her mouth and leaning as far back on the mattress as her heavy belly would allow.

"But, Jay..."

"KEIFERRRRRR!" she shrieked, her voice echoing off the tall ceilings.

"Ok, ok, I understood!"

Keifer blurted out, quickly raising both hands in surrender and taking three large steps back toward the center of the room.

The realization hit him like a cold bucket of water-the dreaded 7th-month mood swings had officially launched for the day.

He took a slow, deep breath, smoothing down his suit jacket.

"Alright. No touching. No 'kiss piss'. I am stepping back."

..

Keifer had barely been at his mahogany office desk for half an hour when his phone buzzed violently across the polished

surface.

Ringgggg... Ringgggg...

The screen flashed with Jayyyy <3.

He picked it up instantly, bringing it to his ear with a soft, affectionate smile already forming on his lips.

"Sunshine-"

He froze mid-sentence.

All he heard through the speaker was quiet, trembling gasps, followed by heavy, breathless crying.

Jay was sobbing hysterically.

"Keifer..."

she wept into the receiver, her voice cracking with helpless misery.

"Jayyyy!"

Keifer slammed his hands down onto his desk, bolting upright from his heavy leather executive chair as absolute, ice-cold terror shot through his veins.

"Sunshine, what happened?!

Why are you crying?!

Are you hurt?!

Is there pain?! Talk to me!"

"Keiferrrrr! Just come home fast!"

she cried, her ragged breathing making his heart hammer wildly against his ribs.

"I'm coming!

I'm coming, don't worry!"

He tossed his phone straight into his jacket pocket and bolted out of his private office.

The ruthless, untouchable CEO sprinted down the long executive hallway with his suit jacket flying open and his tie slightly askew.

He completely ignored the dozens of elite managers and board members who stopped dead in their tracks,

staring at their terrifying boss in utter, jaw-dropping shock as he sprinted for the VIP elevator like a man possessed.

Ten minutes later, the front doors of the Watson mansion slammed open with a deafening bang.

Keifer sprinted up the grand marble staircase two steps at a time, his lungs burning, his mind racing with every terrible worst-case scenario.

He threw open the doors to their master suite, only to find Mrs. Watson and Soph standing near the edge of the massive king-sized bed,

looking completely bewildered and utterly helpless.

Jay was sitting right in the center of the mattress, her soft hands covering her flush, tear-stained face as her shoulders shook with dramatic, uncontrollable sobs.

"Jay, sweetie, please just tell us what's wrong!"

Mrs. Watson pleaded gently, wringing her hands in panic.

"Did someone say something to you?! Are you hurt?!"

Soph asked frantically, her hands hovering in mid-air as she tried to figure out what to do.

Jay said absolutely nothing, only burying her face deeper into her palms, letting out a pitiful, loud

whimper.

Keifer practically threw himself onto the mattress, sliding onto his knees right beside her on the bed.

"Jay! Sunshine, I'm here! I'm right here!"

The exact second she heard his voice,

Jay lunged forward and threw her arms tightly around his neck,

burying her wet, hot face straight into the crook of his collarbone, sobbing violently into his crisp dress shirt.

Keifer wrapped his broad, protective arms securely around her heavy, rounded bump, rubbing her back in rapid, anxious strokes.

His own heart was beating so fast it felt like it would burst through his chest.

"Baby, please, talk to me.

What hurts?

Are you in pain?

Do we need to go to the hospital?

What do you need?"

Jay pulled back slightly, her bottom lip trembling violently as she sniffled, wiping her nose with her sleeve.

She looked up at him with pitiful, wet eyes, muttering softly,

"I'm... I'm hungry..."

Keifer blinked, taking a sudden, long breath as a massive wave of pure relief washed over his exhausted body.

"Hungry?

Baby, you could have just asked Mom or the kitchen staff to bring you something..."

The moment those reasonable words tumbled out of his mouth,

Jay's dark eyes flashed with sudden, deadly rage.

She violently shoved his broad shoulders away, completely breaking his grip.

"SEE?! You don't love me!"

she screamed, new tears streaming down her pink cheeks like waterfalls.

"Your stupid office is more important than me!

Then just go away! Go back to your precious work!"

"No, baby!

No, it's not like that at all!"

Keifer panicked, his hands trembling as he quickly reached out to cup her wet face, gently wiping her tears away with his thumbs.

"It's not like that!

Why are you crying, my love?

You could have just asked me to stay, I would have canceled every meeting today!"

Jay sobbed even harder, glaring at him through her wet eyelashes with total defiance.

"Can't I even cry now?!

I was feeling like crying, so I'm CRYINGGGG!

I wanted to eat with you, so I called you!

Now I can't even call my own husband?!"

She shouted.

"I know why you don't want to come home... I know you are cheating on me!"

Keifer's jaw dropped.

His whole soul froze.

His brain completely shut down.

"WHAT?!"

Mrs. Watson and Soph exchanged wide-eyed, utterly stunned looks, taking a synchronized step back toward the bedroom door to give the sheer absurdity some space.

"Right?!"

Jay cried out, dramatically pointing a shaking, accused finger right at his chest.

"You've got some other girl at your company who's beautiful and not looking like a giant watermelon like me!"

"No baby, no!

It's not like that!"

Keifer pleaded, his deep voice cracking as he held her shaking arms.

"IT IS LIKE THAT!"

"NO!"

"Then what is THIS?!"

she yelled, slapping both of her hands onto her large, 7-month rounded bump, looking down at her pregnant stomach as if it were her worst enemy.

Keifer took a deep, steadying breath, manually forcing his frantic corporate brain into hyper-patient dad mode.

He shifted into his softest, most gentle voice, speaking to her like a loving mother coaxing a dramatic toddler out of a tantrum.

"Sunshine... it's our baby... not a watermelon... remember?"

He leaned close, gently cupping her cheeks again despite her angry huffing and puffing.

"You are looking absolutely stunning and cute."

Jay's crying stopped in a split second.

Her tear-streaked face twisted into an expression of pure, unadulterated disgust and outrage.

"See? SEE?!

I KNOW YOU DON'T LOVE ME!"

Keifer threw both of his hands up in sheer, helpless confusion, looking like a man being put on trial for a crime he didn't even commit.

"What happened NOW?!"

"You ALWAYS call me just cute!

'Cute, cute, cute!'

What the hell is cute?!"

she yelled, mocking his deep voice with dramatic, tearful facial expressions and waving her arms around.

"Not gorgeous!

Not beautiful!

Not hot! Just... CUTE!"

Soph, standing near the doorway, shook her head slowly and muttered under her breath,

"Mood swings."

And Mrs. Watson just closed her eyes, dragging her palm down her face with a heavy, deeply exhausted facepalm.

"No no no no!"

Keifer blurted out instantly, his CEO dignity completely demolished as he scrambled desperately to fix his fatal mistake.

"You are not just cute!

You are the most breathtaking, magnificent,

drop-dead gorgeous,

dangerously hot,

radiant,

mesmerizing,

ethereal,

stunning,

glowing,

divine,

sensational,

irresistible,

perfect woman on this entire planet!"

Jay sniffled loudly, staring at him with her big, glossy eyes while he panted from frantically reciting every single flattering word in his vocabulary,

while Soph silently counted the adjectives on her fingers in the background, suppressing a hysterical laugh.

Jay suddenly straightened her back, her posture instantly shifting from a weeping drama queen to a completely calm, composed woman.

She casually wiped the remaining tears from her eyes with the back of her wrist, sniffing once before looking Keifer dead in the eye.

"Okay," she said simply.

Keifer blinked, his hands still raised in mid-air from his desperate rant of compliments.

"Okay...?"

"Yes, now... I'm hungry!"

Jay announced, her voice perfectly normal as if she hadn't just spent the last twenty minutes accusing him of calling her a watermelon and secretly having an affair.

Keifer let out a massive, shuddering breath, rubbing his temples in pure relief.

"Okay, tell me what you wanna eat! I'll cook for you,"

he offered immediately, ready to make anything on earth if it kept his wife from crying again.

Jay tilted her head, her finger tapping against her cheek.

"Umm... I don't know."

"Huh?" Keifer paused, staring at her.

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I don't know, I'm just... hungry!"

Jay huffed, her lower lip poking out again.

"My stomach is empty, but my brain doesn't have a picture of the food!"

"Okay, let's figure it out,"

Mrs. Watson stepped in, pulling up a chair.

"How about some fresh chicken soup?

Nice, warm, and easy on the stomach?"

"I don't know..." Jay mumbled, shaking her head.

"A juicy, double-cheese burger with crispy fries?"

Soph suggested, leaning over the bed.

"Who says no to fries?"

"I don't know..." Jay whined, resting her hands on her bump.

"Steak?

Pasta?

Fried rice?

Dim sum?

Tacos?"

Keifer rattled off dishes like a auctioneer, his voice growing more frantic with every option.

"Grilled cheese?

Pancakes?

Pizza?"

To every single dish, Jay just blinked, pouted, and repeated,

"I don't know... I don't know... I don't know!"

Just as the room was about to plunge into total defeat, the bedroom doors burst open.

Aries and Percy marched straight into the suite, looking like two soldiers arriving on a urgent mission.

"What happened?!"

Aries demanded, looking around the room with wide eyes.

"We heard Keifer sprinted out of the office like the building was on fire!

Is Jay okay?

Is the baby coming?!"

"Is it an emergency?!"

Percy added, clutching his suit jacket in panic.

"Do we need the hospital helicopter?!"

Soph let out a long, dramatic sigh, waving her hand dismissively.

"No, she's fine.

She's just hungry and doesn't know what to eat."

Aries blinked, his tense shoulders dropping.

"Cravings?"

Everyone in the room nodded in unison, looking completely drained.

Aries crossed his arms, a confident grin spreading across his face.

"Say no more.

We'll help too!

You guys are executive suits, you don't know how to handle pregnancy food crises.

Come on, to the kitchen!"

Within five minutes, the high-end, luxury kitchen of the Watson mansion was transformed into an absolute warzone.

Aprons were flying, stoves were blazing, and pots were clanking loudly as the three men took over the counters like frantic chefs in a busy restaurant.

Soph took her position right on the high stool near the kitchen island, taking her job as the official "quality checker" extremely seriously.

Keifer was panicking at the main stove, his expensive dress shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He decided to make three classic, comforted dishes.

First, a warm bowl of creamy mushroom soup.

Second, a rich, fragrant truffle butter pasta.

Third, a delicate, fluffy stack of blueberry pancakes drizzled with organic honey.

"Move out of the way, Keifer!"

Aries yelled, tossing a pan into the air with aggressive energy.

Aries was going all-out with savory power dishes:

a sizzling pan of spicy garlic butter shrimp,

a hot plate of crispy Korean fried chicken tossed in sweet chili sauce, and a bowl of rich, cheesy loaded mashed potatoes topped with extra bacon bits.

Meanwhile, Percy was taking the elegant, quick route.

He quickly prepared a plate of fresh avocado and poached egg toast, a bowl of chilled creamy seafood chowder, and a sizzling sizzler plate of teppanyaki beef strips.

And Soph, being lazy just stare at those dishes with watery mouth.

..

Twenty minutes later, all three men marched up to the master suite carrying silver trays loaded with nine different, mouth-watering gourmet dishes.

They set up a grand buffet right on the rolling bed table in front of Jay.

"Look, sunshine!"

Keifer said proudly, gesturing to the spread.

"We made nine different things! Anything you want, it's right here!"

Jay looked at the magnificent feast.

She looked at the sizzling shrimp, the fluffy pancakes, the rich pasta, the fried chicken, and the beef.

She threw her head back and let out a loud, miserable groan.

"Ughhhhh!"

"What?!"

all three men yelled at the exact same time.

"I don't want any of this!"

Jay whined, pushing the silver tray away with a disgusted pout.

"It's too fancy!

It's too hot!

It smells like effort!

I don't want it!"

Keifer looked like he was about to pass out on the rug.

Aries dropped his spatulas onto a napkin in utter disbelief, and Percy just stared at the ceiling, questioning his life choices.

"Then WHAT do you want, Jay?!"

Soph asked, throwing her hands in the air.

Jay crossed her arms over her 7-month bump, her eyes lighting up with a sudden, chaotic idea.

"I want instant ramen noodles!"

Keifer sighed, but quickly nodded.

"Okay... instant noodles. I can do that-"

"AND!"

Jay interrupted sharply, pointing a finger at him.

"I want spicy potato chips crushed on top of it!"

Aries raised a brow, sharing a look with Percy.

"Well... instant noodles with chips on top?

Honestly, that's kinda normal. Crispy texture with soup.

I can see it."

"WITH PICKLES!"

Jay added loudly, grinning.

Percy nodded slowly, shrugging his shoulders.

"Pickles?

Okay, sour and salty with spicy noodles... it still looks somewhat normal.

Weird, but normal."

"AND A GIANT SCOOP OF ICE CREAM!"

Jay cheered happily.

"Vanilla, chocolate, AND strawberry on top of the hot soup!"

Aries' jaw dropped.

"Okay... now it's turning completely abnormal."

"AND!"

Jay continued, her eyes sparkling with pure, unhinged joy as she pointed at the drink glass.

"I want a drink that is half orange juice and half chocolate milkshake mixed together!"

The entire room went dead silent.

Mrs. Watson put a hand over her mouth, looking genuinely terrified for Jay's stomach.

Soph slowly backed away toward the wall, whispering,

"That drink is an biological hazard..."

"Sunshine..." Keifer gasped, taking a slow step forward, looking at her with sheer concern.

"Baby, that combination... your stomach will hurt so bad..."

"I WANT IT NOW!"

Jay stomped her foot against the bed mattress, her eyes instantly brimming with dramatic, rapid-fire tears.

"If I don't get my ice-cream noodle soup and orange-chocolate juice, I will NOT eat anything for the rest of the week!"

Keifer didn't even hesitate.

He turned around instantly, pointing at Aries and Percy.

"Get the ramen!

Get the chips!

Get the ice cream!

MIX THE JUICE!....ok I'm not sure about this."

Five minutes later, the chaotic masterpiece was delivered to the bed.

A steaming bowl of instant red spicy noodles, topped with a handful of crushed chili chips, three big green pickles floating on the side,

and three giant, melting scoops of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream swirling right into the hot broth.

Beside it sat a tall glass of bright orange juice mixed with thick, dark chocolate milkshake.

Jay looked at her nightmare creation with pure, unadulterated adoration.

She picked up her chopsticks, took a huge bite of the ice-cream-soaked spicy noodle, and let out a soft sigh of ultimate happiness.

She followed it up with a big sip of the thick, orange-chocolate mixture, her face lighting up like a Christmas tree.

"Mmm! This is the best thing in the whole world!"

Jay gushed, her mood swings completely vanishing into thin air as she happily munched away, her bump gently twitching as the baby kicked in approval.

Aries, Percy, and Soph stood in a tight line near the bed, their faces twisted into expressions of pure, unadulterated horror as they watched Jay happily shove another giant forkful of ice-cream-soaked, pickle-infused spicy ramen into her mouth.

Aries gagged softly, covering his mouth with his sleeve.

"I think watching her eat that just erased five years off my life expectancy."

"It's the orange-chocolate juice combination that's really breaking my soul,"

Soph shuddered, clutching her own stomach as Jay took a long, blissful gulp from her glass.

"That's not a drink, that's a weapon."

Percy, however, leaned in a little closer, his brow furrowed in intense, scientific curiosity.

He watched the way the melting strawberry ice cream swirled into the bright red chili broth, creating a bizarre pink foam around a floating pickle.

"Is it... is it actually good?"

Percy murmured under his breath, his eyes wide.

"Like, mathematically, could the sweet and sour balance out the spice?"

Slowly, driven by pure, reckless temptation,

Percy reached his hand out toward the edge of her tray, his fingers stretching out to snatch a single chip resting near the ice cream pool.

"Can I just... try a tiny bit-"

SLAP!

Jay swatted his hand away with lethal speed and impressive power, the slap echoing loudly through the bedroom.

"OW!"

Percy squeaked, clutching his red knuckles and jumping back two feet.

Jay didn't even stop chewing.

She pulled the tray closer to her heavy 7-month bump, clutching the bowl like a mother bear protecting her cub.

She turned her head and glared at Percy with dark, unblinking, feral eyes, her mouth still full of noodles.

"Touch my food again, Percy,"

Jay warned in a deep, terrifyingly low tone,

"and I will fry you like those cockroaches."

Percy's jaw dropped in absolute horror, his face turning ghost-white.

"Cockroaches?!"

He spun around frantically, looking at the rest of the family in pure terror.

"Does she eat cockroaches too for her cravings?!"

Percy cried out, clutching his chest like he was about to pass out on the spot.

In unison, Keifer, Mrs. Watson, and Soph slowly dragged their palms down their faces in one giant, synchronized family facepalm.

**

Eight months later~

Keifer finally flopped himself onto the bed in the guest room after making sure Jay was fast asleep in their master suite.

For the first time in the past eight months, he was ill.

His body was burning with a severe seasonal flu,

his head throbbed violently, and his breath felt hot and heavy.

In sheer fear that she might catch a cold or flu because of him in her late stage of pregnancy,

he had dragged himself out of their bedroom to sleep here in the guest wing.

He closed his eyes with a low, exhausted groan.

He knew he needed her right now-

needed her comforting presence, her soft touch, her scent-

but he simply couldn't risk it.

Her health and their baby's safety were far more important than his comfort.

He tried desperately to sleep, but it was nearly impossible.

Sleeping in a different room felt completely foreign, and sleeping without Jay wrapped in his arms made the mattress feel icy and empty.

After what felt like hours of restless tossing and turning, he somehow drifted into a light, feverish sleep.

Suddenly, in the middle of the quiet night, he felt something warm brushing against him.

A soft, familiar arm wrapped gently around his waist, and the rhythmic flutter of warm air tickled the skin near his neck.

His body instantly reacted before his fevered brain even could.

He melted into the heat, instinctively bringing his own broad arm up to cover her arm, pulling her closer.

But...

A sudden, sharp thought hit his mind.

Keifer opened his eyes quickly,

his dark gaze heavy and unfocused.

"Jay..."

he whispered softly as he looked down, spotting his wife with her adorable, heavy round belly clinging tightly to his side.

"Sunshine... what are you doing here?"

he whispered in his raspy, feverish voice, his eyes half-closed as he involuntarily began combing her soft hair with his long fingers.

"Nothing... just sleeping with my husband,"

she muttered back, not even bothering to open her eyes.

Instead, she pressed her face even deeper into the crook of his neck, inhaling his scent.

Keifer turned tiredly toward her, his body aching as he looked down at her sweet, stubborn face through heavy eyelids.

"Baby... didn't I tell you I'm not well?

You shouldn't come near me..."

Jay just wrapped her arms tighter around his torso with pure, unyielding stubbornness.

"You are ill... that's why I'm here. Now rest,"

she murmured softly, her fingers gently tapping and massaging the back of his skull, giving him an instant wave of deep relaxation.

Even as his eyelids drooped from the heavenly touch, he knew he couldn't let her stay.

"Jay... just go," he urged weakly.

"No."

"Jayyy..."

"No."

"Sunshine...?"

"Absolutely no!"

"Jay, you need to go..otherwise..."

he tried to sound stern, but his raspy voice lacked any real bite.

Jay peeked up through her long eyelashes, her lips twitching into a tiny smile.

"Otherwise...?"

"Umm... otherwise..."

Keifer trailed off, his brain foggy from the fever.

"Yeah? What otherwise?"

she teased softly, her hand continuing its comforting, gentle rhythmic tapping on his head.

Keifer sighed, a helpless, totally defeated look washing over his handsome, flushed face as his eyes slowly fluttered shut.

"Otherwise... I won't rest."

She raised a brow, finally opening her dark eyes to look at his exhausted, flushed face.

"Oh wow, hubby!

Very good decision then... let's play doctor doctor!"

"What?!"

Keifer choked out, his fever-dazed mind completely short-circuiting.

"Yes! If you don't want to rest, then let's just play!"

she said, a wicked, triumphant grin spreading across her face.

His eyes widened in absolute shock.

"Jay... baby, u need rest too!"

"No! I already had a lot of it!"

she chirped cheerfully, sitting up slightly and resting her weight on her elbow.

Keifer blinked pathetically, his throat scratchy and dry.

"Then... umm... don't u think I need some rest?"

"No!"

He raised a brow, staring at her with complete disbelief.

"Yes!" Jay nodded firmly with a fake, mocking smile.

"If u won't let me sleep with u, then it's ok... u don't need to rest too!"

"Jayyyy?"

Keifer groaned, dragging a tired hand down his face.

"Umm..." She tapped her finger against her chin, pretending to think deeply.

"Ok, I'll give u two options:

either let me stay here, or play with me and baby and then I'll go back to the room."

Keifer, desperately thinking this was his fastest ticket to getting her safely back into the main bedroom away from his germs,

didn't hesitate for a single second.

"Ok, 2nd option!"

Jay instantly smirked.

Keifer raised a brow, a sudden creeping feeling of impending doom settling over his sick chest.

He had made a grave mistake.

For the next full hour, Jay went into absolute, unhinged evil mode.

Keifer was lying flat on the mattress feeling like an actual corpse while his heavily pregnant wife ran her miniature medical boot camp.

She kept aggressively checking his temperature with her palm every three minutes,

scolding him mercilessly every time he winced at the bitter medicine,

and force-feeding him tiny sips of lukewarm water like a strict head nurse.

When he tried to close his eyes for even five seconds,

Jay pinched his upper arm sharply with her nails.

"Ow! Sunshine, what was that for?!"

Keifer winced, clutching his arm.

"It's an injection!"

Jay declared solemnly, squinting her eyes like a professional surgeon.

"Your fever is defying my authority!"

Keifer lay there panting, his fever-flushed cheeks burning, feeling utterly defeated.

"Jay... sunshine..."

Keifer rasped weakly, looking at her with glassy, desperate eyes.

"Don't u think u r tired? U need to rest now!"

Jay tilted her face, her dark eyes sparkling with chaotic glee as a massive grin broke across her face.

"No! I want to play whole night!"

Keifer instantly got a coughing fit from his own breath, his throat seizing up in pure, unadulterated panic.

Jay quickly tapped his back gently as he sat up, coughing into his elbow.

"WHOLE NIGHTTTTT?!"

he squeaked out the second he could breathe, looking at her like she had just announced a corporate takeover of his soul.

"Yeah!" she said normally, popping a little piece of fruit into her mouth.

Keifer completely gave up on life.

He flopped straight backward onto the mattress like a lifeless corpse, staring helplessly at the ceiling.

"No, Jay baby, PLZZ! I can't take it anymore!"

Seeing her giant, dramatic CEO husband thoroughly broken, Jay's evil smile softened into a sweet, affectionate giggle.

She carefully shuffled closer and lay down right beside him on her side, wrapping her arms securely around his waist and pressing her soft bump against his back.

"Ok then... let's sleep."

Keifer sulked, his voice muffled against the mattress.

"Jayyyy...?"

"U want to play more?"

she asked, peeking over his shoulder with a fake, overly sweet smile.

"No, but-"

"Then no buts!"

she declared softly. She stretched her leg over, slinging it right over both of his legs to lock him into place so he couldn't push her away or sneak off.

Finding absolutely no other option left in the universe, Keifer let out a deep, long groan.

He surrendered entirely, wrapping one broad arm back over her soft belly to hold her close, while using his other hand to pull a spare pillow and press it straight over his own face in utter embarrassment.

"You are so evil, Jay,"

his muffled, raspy voice grumbled from under the pillow.

Jay giggled softly, pressing a loving kiss right into his neck as her eyes fluttered shut.

"Hihi, I love u too, hubby."
