Chapter 56 Angry imu
Shirahoshi moved toward the frozen sea on Nimbus. Kuzan and Bogard noticed her approach and immediately became alert, their expressions turning serious.
Shirahoshi ignored them. "Take everyone away," she said, The ice cracked as massive Sea Kings lifted their heads, raising ships on top of them and carrying them away.
Kuzan and Bogard sighed in relief and allowed the Sea Kings to take the unconscious civilians. Bogard jumped onto one of the Sea Kings. "I will make sure they are safe."
Kuzan nodded, but just as he turned back, Sakazuki attacked Shirahoshi. "Stop!" Kuzan shouted, immediately raising his hand.
"Ice— " he called, but Sakazuki had already launched his attack. A massive fist of magma shot toward Shirahoshi.
One of the Sea Kings roared and slammed its tail onto the ice, sending a massive wave of water and ice crashing into the magma fist.
Nimbus reacted instantly, flying upward and taking Shirahoshi out of Sakazuki's attack range. "Tsk," Sakazuki clicked his tongue in displeasure.
Kuzan sighed and glared at him. "What are you doing? Can't you see what situation we are in?"
"Hmph. She is one of them, right? So what's the problem?" Sakazuki replied coldly. Veins popped on Kuzan's forehead, but seeing Shirahoshi safe, he let it go with a sigh.
On Nimbus, Shirahoshi pouted. "Bad guy. I was just helping." She clenched her fists, clearly angry.
At that moment, she made up her mind. She would train harder and someday beat that bastard for attacking her.
On Sabaody Archipelago, Grove 5, Yamato rushed forward in her hybrid form, her kanabo coated in conqueror's haki.
"Glacier Fang!" Her kanabo slammed down onto Topman's boar head, sending shockwaves across the ground.
Even with his defense in beast form, he was pushed back. He shook his head. "Tsk… you are really a durable punching bag." Yamato said.
Topman charged again. Yamato gathered white frost energy in her mouth and fired an ice beam, freezing the ground instantly.
Topman stomped, breaking the ice, but Yamato was already in front of him. "Raimei Hakke!" she smashing her kanabo into his stomach.
He was sent flying, crashing into a mangrove tree with a loud impact.
On Mangrove 10, Hancock stood in front of Nusjuro. He glared at her, blade drawn in his hybrid form.
"You dare defy the World Government, Pirate Empress? Now you will pay the price."
Hancock flicked her hair back, a confident and arrogant smile on her face. "I can do whatever I want. Everyone will forgive me."
"Why, you ask? Of course… because I am too beautiful." Nusjuro closed his eyes, refusing to look at her.
Hancock grinned as Nusjuro rushed forward, tracking her with observation haki while keeping his eyes shut.
Hancock dashed forward as well. "Perfume Femur!" Her kick came forward as Nusjuro swung his blade.
Their wills clashed before their attacks even met, forcing both of them to jump back. Hancock used Geppo to rise into the air.
She kissed her fingers, forming a large pink heart, then pulled it back. "Slave Arrow!"
Hundreds of pink arrows rained down. Nusjuro launched flying slashes to cut them, but the moment his slashes touched the arrows, they turned to stone.
Nusjuro dodged the rain of attacks, everything hit by the arrows turning into stone. "What a troublesome ability," he muttered, still keeping his eyes closed.
Hancock rushed at him again, her kicks relentless, forcing him to stay fully focused. One mistake, and he would be petrified.
On Grove 15, Ren and Gunko clashed, staff and trident colliding again and again. They separated, and Ren grinned.
"Well, you know, even just possessing Gunko, your strength is quite impressive. But why possess someone? Can't you just come here?"
He smiled. "Or… you can't leave the Holy Land?"
Gunko's movements stopped for a split second. Killing intent surged in her eyes as her trident and demonic tail struck toward him.
Ren laughed, his staff extending and shrinking constantly as he defended. "You know, I'm really curious. Are you a man or a woman?"
"I'm curious, you know?" he added with a grin.
"Mu does not need to answer to the likes of you," came the cold reply.
Inside the Holy Land, in the throne room, a shadowy figure sat on the Empty Throne. His finger trembled as conqueror's haki flared around it.
"Mu is furious."
Back on Sabaody, Ren looked at the enraged presence before him. "Well, we don't really have to fight now. I'm not interested in your World Government."
"You think Mu cares?" Gunko asked, her voice cold.
Ren's smile vanished as his conqueror's haki flared violently. At the same time, three similar bursts came from his clones.
Saturn stared as two clones attacked him with conqueror's infusion and Samadhi flames. "Your attacks are meaningless—"
"UGHHHHH!"
He screamed as the flames burned through him. The same happened to Peter and Mars, both being set ablaze by the Samadhi flames.
The flames were not just burning their bodies—they were burning their connection to Imu's contract.
Gunko, fell to her knees and spat out blood. Ren pointed his staff at her. "Care for my opinion now?"
Gunko glared at him despite the damage. Ren spoke, his gaze turning toward the Holy Land.
"Stay away from Wano, and we won't have problems for a while. Or… let's fight to the death."
"Mu will return."
Gunko's body went limp as the possession ended, and she returned to normal. Ren grinned. "Yo, Gunko, how about it? Wanna switch sides?"
{Return to the Holy Land now.} The command echoed in her mind. Gunko bit her lip as a pentagram formed beneath her feet.
"Oi, leave Topman and Nusjuro behind. Think of it as giving me some face," Ren said casually. "Let's have tea next time we talk."
Gunko looked at him speechlessly before disappearing as she was teleported back. Soon, similar formations appeared under Saturn, Peter, and Mars.
Ren grinned as Hancock and Yamato continued fighting. His clones dissolved back into strands of hair.
He stretched, then plucked a strand, forming another clone, which shot into the sky on Nimbus.
Garp and Rayleigh arrived, staring at Ren speechlessly. Ren waved casually. "You old guys talk. I have two wives to cheer."
He ran toward Grove 10, where Hancock was fighting. Garp and Rayleigh's mouths twitched. "This guy…" they muttered.
Meanwhile, the clone reached the Holy Land and shrank to the size of an ant. It ran through Pangaea Castle, heading toward the strongest presence it could feel.
Soon, it entered a garden room. Two red eyes locked onto it.
"Yo, my friend," the clone waved casually. "So you are a male… tsk. Here I thought the mastermind was some hot and sexy onii-chan."
"You dare come in front of Mu?" Imu's voice was filled with fury.
"Tsk, at least offer me tea," the clone said, sighing. "Did living for hundreds of years make you forget manners?"
"You—" Imu was speechless with anger.
The clone expanded and sat down casually. "So, tell me your story, man." He patted the ground beside him, inviting Imu.
Imu's anger exploded. A demonic tail lashed out, piercing the clone's chest.
The clone didn't even dodge. "Well, looks like you are in a bad mood. Don't worry, I'll come again. Hope your mood is better next time."
His body turned into hair and vanished.
"Damn you!"
Imu's conqueror's haki exploded across the Holy Land, the sky above being pushed back. Celestial Dragons, slaves, CP agents, and soldiers collapsed unconscious under the pressure.
