Olivia laughed weakly at herself.
"Why...? Why do you always have to be like this around me?" She wiped the corner of her eyes. "Whenever I was sad... You're there. When I got sick with the flu... You stayed beside me, nursing me right back to health."
"When those men kidnapped me, you came alone to rescue me without caring for your own life. And now..." She said while laughing through the stubborn tears that had refused to stop. "Now you're the one comforting me again."
She slowly closed her beautiful siren like eyes and muttered.
"Do you really have any idea how unfair that is? You're always there whenever I absolutely need someone the most. You make it so impossible for me to keep my distance, Alex. Sometimes you even make me forget who I'm supposed to be."
Alex looked at her quietly before walking around the couch until he stood directly in front of her. He met her green eyes with a sincere light and smiled gently.
