Outside The Purple Rift
"Stay back!" Gabriel stood in front of everyone else, eyes flashing. He stretched his hands toward the purple rift, creating a spatial lock around it.
A clench of his fists made the lock on space around the Rift even more constricting, forcing the expansion to slow down drastically.
The space god huffed. "Lord above," his neck spun to Kali and Wukong who didn't stand far away from him. He whispered despite the yelling from the other Hunters. "Were any of you able to sense what that shadow was?"
Kali shook her head grimly. "Whatever it was it certainly isn't the Void Entity," Her gaze cut to Wukong. "This has gone beyond what we first thought. Something tells me that thing is behind the consumption of the Federation official."
The Monkey King's expression hardened. "A beast capable of eating people without coming out of the Rift sounds like a nightmare."
