After being intimidated by Lumidra Spryte, Balen finally asked Raeshan a question.
"Young man, do you really sell beasts like this to anyone?"
Raeshan replied calmly, "As long as they can pay."
Balen's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Anyone?"
Raeshan nodded.
"Anyone."
Balen glanced at Snow Pup in Aris's arms, then at Lumidra Spryte resting comfortably on Raeshan's shoulder.
"Even if the buyer is an ordinary person?"
"Yes."
"Even if they have no combat experience?"
"Yes."
Raeshan narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at Balen.
Why is this guy asking so many questions? If you want to buy one, just buy it.
Balen's expression became serious.
"Then aren't you afraid that your Mystic Beasts will fall into the hands of criminals?"
Raeshan answered calmly, "If someone wants to do something bad, they'll find a way regardless. I only sell Mystic Beasts. What they do afterward is their responsibility."
Balen stared at him for a few seconds before shifting his gaze toward the empty store.
"How many Mystic Beasts do you have in your store?"
Raeshan smiled faintly.
"Enough."
He raised his hand.
A blue holographic panel suddenly appeared above the counter. The translucent screen shimmered softly, casting a faint blue glow across the wooden walls.
One after another, images of Mystic Beasts appeared across the screen.
Some were small and adorable, while others looked fierce and majestic. Each creature had its name, grade, and type displayed beside its image.
The girls immediately gathered around the hologram.
"Wow!"
"So many!"
"Look at that one!"
"That's adorable!"
"Ahh! I want that one!"
The excitement of the girls quickly filled the previously quiet store.
Aris's friends stared at the Mystic Beasts with sparkling eyes. Every creature looked unique, and some were so cute that they could barely take their eyes off the hologram.
Balen, however, remained calm.
His eyes carefully scanned each Mystic Beast.
Some looked completely harmless.
Others gave off an intimidating aura despite their cute appearances.
But what shocked him the most was the sheer number of Mystic Beasts displayed before him.
There are dozens of them…
Balen's pupils contracted slightly.
He actually has this many Mystic Beasts? If even one of these creatures possessed strength similar to Snow Pup, then this store was far more extraordinary than he had initially imagined.
Just where did this young man get all these beasts?
Before Balen could think further, one of Aris's friends, Lyra, suddenly pointed at the hologram excitedly.
"I want that one!"
Another girl, Kaia, immediately objected.
"No! I saw it first!"
"Then I'll choose this one!"
"You can't! I already chose it!"
The girls began arguing over their favorite Mystic Beasts.
Raeshan watched them with a smile on his face.
Looks like business is finally coming.
One of Aris's friends, Mira, ignored the argument between Lyra and Kaia and continued browsing through the hologram.
Suddenly, her eyes stopped on a small silver fox.
The fox had soft silver fur and glowing blue eyes. Its fluffy tail swayed gently behind it, and a faint light shimmered from its tip, illuminating the space around it.
Mira's eyes sparkled.
"I want this cute beast!"
Raeshan looked toward the Mystic Beast she had chosen.
It was a Moonpaw Fox, a Light-type Mystic Beast.
He smiled and said, "You have a good eye. This is a Moonpaw Fox, a Grade 1 Light-type Mystic Beast."
Mira looked at him curiously.
"Is it strong?"
"Don't let its cute appearance fool you," Raeshan replied. "Moonpaw Foxes are especially powerful at night. Their abilities become stronger under moonlight, and they can use the light produced by their tails to confuse enemies and illuminate their surroundings."
Mira's eyes lit up.
"Really? Then I definitely want it!"
She had already made up her mind.
Seeing Mira choose a Mystic Beast so quickly, Lyra and Kaia immediately became anxious.
"Hey! You already chose one!"
"That's unfair! I haven't even picked mine yet!"
Mira hugged her arms proudly and smiled.
"Hehe, I chose first!"
Lyra and Kaia exchanged glances before immediately turning back toward the hologram.
Lyra quickly scanned through the displayed Mystic Beasts, searching for one that caught her attention.
Suddenly, her eyes stopped on a small red-furred bear cub.
The tiny bear had round ears, bright eyes, and warm red fur. Small flames flickered gently around its paws, dancing without harming anything nearby.
Lyra's eyes sparkled.
"I want that one!"
She pointed excitedly at the hologram.
Raeshan looked at the Mystic Beast she had chosen.
"That's an Ember Cub, a Grade 1 Fire-type Mystic Beast."
"Ember Cub…"
Lyra repeated the name happily.
Raeshan continued, "It's small now, but don't underestimate it. Its flames will become stronger as it grows, and it's especially good at close-range combat. With proper training, it can become a powerful partner."
Lyra's face immediately brightened.
"I'll take it!"
Kaia, who was still searching through the hologram, became nervous when she saw Lyra had already made her choice.
"Then I need to hurry!"
She quickly searched through the remaining Mystic Beasts.
After several seconds, her eyes suddenly widened.
"I found mine!"
Kaia pointed toward a small gray rabbit with a tiny crystal horn on its forehead.
Weak sparks of electricity occasionally jumped from the crystal horn, making tiny crackling sounds.
Raeshan looked at it and smiled.
"That's a Sparkhorn Rabbit, a Grade 1 Lightning-type Mystic Beast."
Kaia's eyes sparkled.
"It's so cute!"
Raeshan nodded.
"Although it's small, its lightning attacks can become quite troublesome for its opponents. Its horn stores electrical energy, allowing it to release short bursts of lightning. With proper training, it can become a reliable combat partner."
Kaia immediately made up her mind.
"I want it!"
Mira, Lyra, and Kaia looked at one another proudly.
Each of them had chosen a Mystic Beast.
Aris smiled as she watched her friends.
She was happy that they had found creatures they liked, although she couldn't help feeling a little curious about how powerful their Mystic Beasts.
Balen, however, remained silent.
His attention was focused entirely on Raeshan.
He described the abilities of every Mystic Beast so casually.
Does he really know each creature that well?
The more Balen observed Raeshan, the more mysterious the young store owner seemed.
Meanwhile, Raeshan was secretly delighted.
Three customers at once…
If they all buy one, that's already three sales.
His eyes practically sparkled.
Task 2 requires fifteen Grade One Mystic Beasts.
Raeshan glanced at the three excited girls.
At this rate, maybe completing the task won't be as difficult as I thought.
