With Nubel getting excited on the back, the high spirit spread quickly among the main players, and they started to put up a harder fight for Higo and the others. Each game became longer than before, with the new opponent that kept coming becoming more fierce.
At this point, not a single one of them treated Higo and the others as just a bunch of rookies, but as an invincible opponent that they had to beat to prove that they deserved to be in this team.
Unfortunately, even with all of their efforts, they could barely even touch the nets that Higo protected today.
It wasn't like Ozan Kabak showed a masterclass performance to block all the attacks. If anything, he finally started to show a weakness, getting killed so many times from his left side, where he had a history of injury on his left knee that slowed him down when he had to turn around in that direction.
