Chapter 150 - Raid to the east (7)

Back in the present, the fragile balance in the central East hunter group shattered completely. The leader of the group, Malvek, had officially betrayed Viola Ren. He tried to steal the valuable monster cores from the SSS-class Infinity Hive Mother she had just killed after an exhausting battle.

The amusement in Viola's heart finally ended.

After reflexively dodging the flying axe thrown by Malvek, Viola Ren stood slowly, a wide, dangerous grin spreading across her face. Her armor was cracked and broken in several places, blood seeping from deep wounds, but her eyes burned with cold fury and dark pleasure.

"You pathetic little pus*y," Viola mocked, her voice dripping with contempt. "A coward who got lucky with power thinks he can steal from me? How fucking weak can you be?"

Malvek didn't back down. Even though Viola was far more powerful roughly level 95 or higher he saw a chance. She was heavily injured, her armor compromised, and her movements slower than usual. He charged forward with reckless aggression, determined to finish her while she was vulnerable.

"You arrogant bitch!" Malvek snarled as he swung a heavy flux-infused fist at her. "You think you're a goddess? You're just a stuck-up cunt who looks down on everyone! I'll crush your skull and take everything you have!"

The intense fight erupted in the ruins. Malvek pressed his attack relentlessly, using his level 61 strength to land heavy blows whenever Viola's injuries slowed her. He cursed her with every strike. "Die, you self-proclaimed whore of a goddess! I'll have fun with your corpse after I'm done with you!"

Viola laughed through the pain, dodging and countering with brutal efficiency despite her condition. "You disgusting pig who forces yourself on women and children and still call yourself a leader? I should have killed you the first day I smelled your cowardice, you bastard!"

She landed a powerful kick to his ribs, cracking bone, but Malvek endured and tackled her, slamming her into a broken wall. "Shut the fuck up, you hypocritical slut! You watched me do everything and said nothing. You enjoyed it, didn't you? You get off on seeing real men take what they want!"

The exchange grew uglier as they traded blows and insults. Viola's wind-infused strikes cut across Malvek's body while he used raw power to try to overwhelm her. "You're nothing but a weak, greedy piece of shit who hides behind women and children. I'll enjoy crushing your balls before I end you, you pathetic excuse for a man!"

Malvek roared and grabbed her arm, trying to break it. "Fuck you! At least I don't pretend to be above it all while getting wet watching others suffer. You're just a sadistic c*nt playing goddess!"

Although Viola was far stronger, her fatal injuries and broken armor made the fight harder than it should have been. She couldn't move at full speed, and every strike she took worsened her condition. Blood flowed freely from multiple wounds. Yet her experience and raw talent eventually turned the tide.

With a final, devastating combination of wind-enhanced punches and a powerful flux burst, Viola defeated Malvek. He crashed to the ground, broken and bleeding, unable to stand.

It began to rain. The rain in the eastern region was never normal the land was so saturated with blood and death that the falling water carried a reddish tint, like the sky itself was weeping blood.

Viola stood over the fallen Malvek, breathing heavily. She swore at him viciously, spitting on his face. "You fucking pu*sy. All that arrogance and you still fall like the weakling you always were." With a pitiful grin, she placed her foot on his head.

One powerful stomp was all it took. Malvek's skull cracked and shattered beneath her boot. Only small pieces of broken bone and brain matter remained where his head had been. He was dead.

Still disgusted by weaklings like him, Viola Ren finally turned her gaze toward the easternmost region. She sat down among the corpses, exhausted but determined, and began consuming the monster cores she had collected. She absorbed their monster flux and refined it into her own inner power, feeling her strength recover and grow with each one.

Once she finished, she stood up, the rain washing blood from her armor. Without another look at the camp or the survivors, Viola Ren moved toward the easternmost parts, seeking answers and the true reason behind this endless Purge.

The central East had lost its self-proclaimed goddess and its false hero in a single brutal day. The land continued its silent suffering as Viola disappeared into the blood-red horizon, chasing a destiny far greater than the weaklings she left behind.
