The Power System of Fragment

Explained by Alex

---

Aether

Aether is the living energy flowing through all existence within Fragment.

It exists in the air, living beings, dimensions, memories, and even emotions.

Unlike normal energy, Aether possesses intent.

It responds to:

- emotion

- willpower

- instinct

- mental state

- destiny

The stronger the will, the stronger the synchronization with Aether.

This is why emotionally unstable individuals often become extremely powerful… or catastrophically dangerous.

Aether can strengthen:

- the body

- the mind

- weapons

- elemental abilities

- dimensions themselves

Every awakened human manipulates Aether differently depending on their:

- attribute

- personality

- soul resonance

- core type

---

Void Resonance

Void Resonance is the similar to aether but not exactly

Where Aether represents existence, harmony, and evolution…

Void Resonance represents:

- collapse

- corruption

- instability

- entropy

- dimensional decay

- destruction

Void energy often originates from:

- failed Collapses

- dimensional fractures

- corrupted entities

- dead dimensions

- ancient sealed beings

- emotion (feelings of hatred mostly)

Humans exposed to Void Resonance may:

- mutate

- lose sanity

- gain corrupted abilities

- become Hollowborn

- evolve into monsters

However…

Rare individuals can survive Void synchronization.

Those individuals are considered anomalies.

And anomalies are feared by gods, demons, and even the System itself.

---

Resonance Core

Every awakened being possesses a Resonance Core.

The Core is the spiritual center where Aether gathers and evolves.

It is usually located near the heart or soul-space.

The stronger the Core becomes:

- the more Aether it can contain

- the greater synchronization becomes

- the more reality begins responding to the user

A damaged Core can:

- cripple an awakened permanently

- corrupt abilities

- destabilize emotions

- kill the user

---

Core Types

Elemental Core

Controls natural elements.

Examples:

- fire

- lightning

- ice

- wind

Most common core type.

---

Sovereign Core

A rare Core capable of influencing:

- territories

- minds

- pressure

- large-scale battles

Often found in future leaders or monsters.

---

Abyssal Core

A corrupted Core born from Void Resonance.

Extremely dangerous.

Users often become unstable over time.

---

Divine Core

A mythical Core tied to higher laws and ancient authorities.

Very few beings possess one.

---

Fragmented Core

An unstable Core type often found in anomalies.

These users evolve unpredictably.

The System struggles to categorize them.

Arthur and Sunny both possess signs of Fragmented evolution.

---

Human Evolution System

"The Path of Eternity"

Humanity evolves by climbing the Path of Eternity.

Each stage represents a deeper synchronization with Aether and reality itself.

---

1 — Dormant

The Core awakens.

The individual begins sensing Aether.

---

2 — Awakened

True synchronization begins.

Abilities manifest.

The body evolves slightly.

---

3 — Ascended ( Warden)

The body surpasses normal human limitations.

Aether becomes stable.

---

4 — Transcendent (Hereld)

Abilities begin affecting reality itself.

Cities can be destroyed during battle.

---

5 — Sovereign (Devil)

The individual gains influence over territories, pressure, weather, and weaker minds.

Most nations fear Sovereigns.

---

6 — Saint ( Ghost )

The individual partially transcends mortality.

Conventional armies become meaningless against them.

---

7 — Divine

The individual approaches godhood.

Reality itself begins responding naturally to their existence.

---

8 — Celestial

The individual can manipulate:

- dimensional forces

- natural laws

- higher concepts

Very few beings ever reach this stage.

---

9 — Eternal

The final known stage.

Beings at this level transcend cycles, fate, and ordinary existence itself.

At this point…

Reality merely tolerates them.

---

Beast Evolution System

"The Descent Into Ruin"

Monsters evolve differently than humans.

Where humanity climbs upward…

Beasts descend deeper into corruption.

---

1 — Lesser Beast

Mindless predators driven by instinct.

---

2 — Ravager

Faster, stronger, and more aggressive.

Capable of wiping out small settlements.

---

3 — Nightmare

Develop intelligence and unique abilities.

Hunters of awakened humans.

---

4 — Calamity

Capable of destroying entire cities.

Most kingdoms collapse if one appears unprepared.

---

5 — Corrupted

The turning point.

These entities:

- speak

- think

- manipulate emotion

- infect minds

- understand fear

Simply seeing one can traumatize weaker humans.

---

6 — Sovereign Horror

Reality begins warping around them naturally.

Entire regions become corrupted.

---

7 — Abyssal King

Ancient monsters tied directly to failed Collapses and dimensional wounds.

Some have existed for thousands of years.

---

8 — Voidborn

Existences partially detached from reality.

Traditional attacks become nearly useless.

---

9 — Extinction-Class Entity

The final stage.

Civilizations disappear when these beings awaken.

Some are capable of ending dimensions entirely.

If one fully awakens…

The System itself begins preparing for extinction.

---

Final Truth

Power in Fragment is not fair.

The stronger someone becomes:

- the more isolated they become

- the more unstable reality becomes around them

- the more attention they attract

From monsters.

From gods.

From demons.

And from things far older than all of them.
