Not even a scratch marked its body despite all the attacks thrown at it, and from what Kyle could tell, it would only take a little longer before he could no longer stop Veronica from stepping in.

She sounded oddly excited.
Kyle was genuinely thankful for that.
He charged forward.
Several tentacles lashed at him from the left. They were fast, monstrously so, but nowhere near fast enough to escape the sight of God's Eye.
Kyle leapt over the first two vines and fired an arrow at the third.
It missed.
He clicked his tongue, released Aella, then twisted sharply on his heel and jumped backward.
KHWAAANG!
The creature roared.
