[Third Person POV:]
Nathan sat there, right beside Layena and Kyle on the bus.
The reason he had introduced himself to Kyle earlier was because Amanda made him realize that his presence in class might be a little too faint.
'You are Kory, right?' she had said. No, sister. I am not Kory.
But that wasn't what stayed on his mind. Something else had caught him off guard.
Until now, Nathan had seen Kyle as someone on his level. Someone who didn't care about others and stayed away from the high-tier kids despite his background.
But on the bus, the way Kyle beat the hell out of Ethan left a deep impression on him.
And when they were assigned the same room, Nathan knew this was his chance to learn a few moves and finally deal with that oaf once and for all.
However, "Sorry, not teaching anything," Kyle said bluntly, raising his hand in refusal.
"Ah, but why? I mean, I can pay you if you want."
