Dean Orin looked at the crowd of students rushing toward the pillar of light. He shook his head slowly.
"If the professors enter with the students... those kids will be in real trouble," he muttered.
His eyebrows pulled together tightly. "They might lose their minds from greed."
Jaya nodded quickly. "I agree. The professors are all at the Spirit Core stage. It would be like throwing tigers in with a bunch of kittens."
"Everyone knows it's the legendary Invincible Path. People would do anything to get even a small piece of it."
She paused, her face serious.
"Even if we don't know how much of the Invincible Path is really inside, we still have to stop the professors from going in."
Jaya looked at the sea of excited students.
Most of them were only at the Mana Core or Arcane Core stage of Bodily Ascension. She wrinkled her nose a little.
"But... what about those two?" she asked. Her voice carried a hint of worry.
