"Does that mean that you forgive me too Simon?" Velzard asked timidly.
"Maybe, but for tearing a hole through me, I need some form of compensation." I said to Velzard with feigned anger.
"Dad, don't you think you're being unreasonable. Getting a hole torn through you is just another Tuesday afterall-"
"Nyx sweetie, the adults are talking here. Please stay out of it." My words caused a vein to become visible on her forehead.
Nevertheless, out of guilt, Velzard complied happily, "Well, what do you need me to do?"
Hearing those words, my face instantly light up as I reached my hands out, "Then let me touch your horns and tail."
Everyone in the room just stared at me with disbelief and shame.

Now we were in our original positions of Velzard clinging to me for life, only this time she was less territorial and more embarrassed, especially since I was now fondling her horns and tail with glee.
" Nyx, can you explain to me some of the major stuff happening while I was out?" I asked Nyx who was drinking tea next to the bed again.
" Well for one, that slime has sent you an invite personally to his festival and has Insisted that you show up." Nyx said, ignoring the blatant display of affection Infront of her. To be honest, she had gotten used to it.
" I figured he would and you should have figured it too so why did you mention it? Did Rimuru have something in mind involving me specifically." I asked Nyx suspiciously.
Nyx just sighed, "I suspect that he had another motive but I'm not exactly an expect in politics so I went and consulted with our resident politician and diplomatic."
Simon: "You mean Yuura?"
Nyx: "Yes, I suspect that since Pneuma is the oldest endorser of the Jura-Tempest federation. Rimuru wishes to use you to showcase your power to showcase it as a power defending Tempest aswell as shown yourself as having a permanent place in Tempest history."
I smiled mischievously towards Nyx, "Oh I see. I think I actually have an idea regarding that. Rimuru will be pleased with what I have planned. Speaking of Yuura, how is she at the moment?"
Nyx then became nervous and began fidgeting her fingers, "About that… her due date is next week."
" PFFFFFT!" I once again spat out tea.
" Yeah, it's not because she's a demon but because she's a divine being. It has caused the development process of the fetus to accelerate exponentially."
I couldn't help but feel immense happiness for them.
" Oh yeah, I want to talk to you about something extremely important. When Rimuru tried to separate those Manas from your soul, he said he saw something." Nyx said seriously, a seriousness that caught me off guard.
" Rimuru told me that what he saw was a statue of a women that was chaining a …very sadistic man." Nyx said both worriedly and seriously.
Although what she said made sense based on what Nyx already said about the Infons interaction between the two of them within my soul, but what she said last is what disturbed me, "…sadistic?"
" Yes, the man seemed to be extremely sadistic… or atleast that's what he looked like according to Rimuru." Nyx said in confidently. It was clear at a glance that Nyx was still contemplating something.
"Ok, spill it. What else did he say. You're clearly holding something back so out with it." I urged the hesitant Nyx.
"Rimuru said that he felt an unbelievable amount of hatred. So much that just feeling it began corrupting his mind and destroying his soul. He also said that the beings strength, despite being sealed, far surpassed his own by leaps and bounds." Nyx said concerned.
"…Also, one last thing was those blue eyes that he had."
I was bewildered by literally everything that Nyx had just said, " What is so significant about the blue eyes?"
Velzard stepped in, "About a century ago, when you had your battle with Guy in that enraged state of yours, at some point your eyes had turned blue. The moment your eyes turned blue, it was as if you gained a bit of lucidity at that moment and yet you just grew angrier… and more sadistic."
This immediately made me use Nous in overdrive, " If that is true, then it's to be suspected that I wasn't exactly in an enraged state but rather that… I was in a state of possession."
Everyone's eyes looked at me with curiosity, " What do you mean possession?"
I took out a fountain pen which then began writing in the air in holographic writing and drawing, " Hear me out here…"
"…All this time we had thought that my skill was causing me to give away my humanity while retaining everything bad." I said as I drew a very weird but correlating drawing in the air.
"…But what if all this time, we were completely wrong about Elysia's effect, infact it could be that it wasn't the skill this whole time. What if me losing my humanity was actually caused by that Manas attempting to possess my body but due to his restraints, he could only manifest his hatred out of me, especially since hatred is the most prominent emotion that he possesses is hatred."
Everyone digested my words with surprising clarity, "This makes things much more complicated. If what you say is correct then that means that everything we've known about your condition up until now was completely incorrect… and now we have to start our research from scratch."
"And that means… everything I've known about my first ever ultimate skill… was a lie." I had never known that such a prospect would hurt me so much. My very first acquired divine power and yet I have no knowledge about it.
Everyone saw how I looked extremely down but I just waved it off the next second, "Don't worry about that, I'll bounce back quickly." They wanted to retort but all knew that I would just avoid it.
