Chapter 157 - Eaten alive…sorta

In the end I made fitting weapons for some individuals. I made a katana that can orbit and accelerate particles around it for Benimaru.

I made duel short swords where the blades can unfold into razor sharp strings that can cut through almost anything for Souei.

I made another katana that can increase and decrease its length and increase kinetic energy accumulation for greater force in accordance to the users speed for Hakurou.

A sword sheath that shares and equalisers the power between a user and their familiar for Gobta.

And thanks to my teachings, Kurobe and Kaijin had created clever that can coat and expel corrosion type attacks with ease and control, a suitable weapon for Geld.

That last one wasn't exactly as impressive as the ones I just made but it was still pretty impressive in the general scope of what blacksmithing could do.

The last thing I made was a trident that can absorb magical energy that the air currents it creates and then adds it to its power. A large improvement of what Gabiru's vortex spear could do although I doubt he would use it as his one is family heirloom.

"What's going on here?" We heard a voice coming from the door and found Rimuru standing there with Benimaru.

"Yo, did you need something here slime?" I asked Rimuru in a playful manner.

"I came here to check up on the progress of Kurobe and Kaijin…" Rimuru looked around the room, he saw the more advanced weaponry lining the walls as well as the more specialized weapons in racks with the specific name of the user on the rack, "… but it seems that someone has quickened and enhanced that process."

Benimaru walked to the display case and grabbed the sword with his name on it. He unsheathed it and then coated it in black flames.

The black flames became so much more intense but once it grew too intense, the flames began swirling around sword unable to grow bigger. Although the flames couldn't become bigger, the flames became so hot that the surroundings began to ignite and melt.

Benimaru immediately put his sword back in his sheath, " This is so cool." Benimaru said gleefully, as if finding a new toy to play with.

" Well now that you've hijacked the blacksmithy. Are you gonna stay for the war… that's a weird way of saying that." Rimuru asked me.

"No, there's a place in Tempest I'm gonna visit while you guys… genocide." I said to Rimuru.

Rimuru: "Are you gonna need a tour guide?"

"No, no one in Tempest is gonna want to miss your ascension to demon lord. Not to mention, I doubt anyone in Tempest can guide through where I'm going anyway." I said to Rimuru with a cryptic smile.

"Ok… then." Rimuru was a little afraid of what I was gonna do but honestly, it wasn't like he could do anything about what I do anyway.

Noticing his fear, I reassured him, "Don't worry, I won't be doing anything drastic."

In an empty void where nothing was as it seems, a place where you could only see a cyan mist floating through the void , a place where direction didn't seem to exist, a grayfog seemed to manifest and then formed into a humanoid figure.

Simon: "So this is what Rimuru's stomach looks like. Kinda depressing that Veldora just sat here for two years. Who am I kidding, he could still look at his memories and thats probably entertaining to some degree."

Without any direction to speak of, I began walking forward. To be fair, I can easily navigate the space and direction of the stomach so I just walked until I reached an interesting area.

Well it's more accurate, I came somewhere that I intended to be.

'Huh?!' I had suddenly found myself awakened from my dream, I felt a sharp pain from losing the ideal dream of living with my teacher.

I had found myself in that dark space, it wasn't lonely nor discomforting. It felt warm and protective. The body less soul looked up and saw it, someone she would've never thought she would see in a millions years.

If she could, she probably would've cried seeing the individual, " Master?!"

The figure just smiled gently done at her soul, "It's nice to see you again Shizue."

"Ho-how did you get here? Did Rimuru eat you?!" Shizu asked worriedly.

"No, I came here of my own choice. I doubt Rimuru or great sage is aware I'm evens here in the first place?" I said to Shizu gently to try and ease her worries.

Shizu: "Then how did you get here?"

"With the ultimate skill Yggdrasil, there's no time, space and dimension out of my reach. I can go anywhere I want without restraint… ok it's not completely foolproof." I said to Shizu smugly.

Shizu just dismissed my prideful god complex and just smiled warmly. Although her endless dream with him was pleasant, in the end it was still just a dream.

Seeing the man Infront of her, she couldn't help but be happy to see him once more despite being dead, " It's good to see you again master."

" It's good to see you again Shizue." I reached out and hugged and cradled her infant body.

Shizu was confused by the fact that she could feel such sensations. She looked down and saw she had become a child once again, no, it was more like her current body was a projection.

Seeing this, she returned the hug with genuine affection and just enjoyed the return of her teacher and relished in the fact that he truly did care about her.

" Shizu, have you explored this place at all?" I knew it was a stupid question but I wanted confirmation anyway.

" Obviously not, how could I? Evens if I had a body, navigating this place is impossible… let me guess, you can navigate this place flawlessly?" Shizu said the last part with exasperation.

I grew a little more smug at her question, " Of course I can. Come on, there's someone in here I want to meet." I put Shizu down and gave my hand out to her.

Shizu took my hand with enthusiasm and we walked off into the space for who knows how long… ok I a very acute sense of the time so I actually knew how long it's been.
