We were currently all sitting down in the frost palace as the Void Archives began assessing the damages and reported them to me in real time while I remotely repaired them.
"Ok, I'm just gonna say it. I'm so sorry about what just happened and I promise that it won't happen again." I apologized to the room.
Everyone just looked at me with pity, that last move I used was clear show of my frustration and solidified the fact that my apology was sincere.
Isaac spoke up making a suggestion, "I think that we should make it a rule that Simon doesn't get drunk… EVER."
Everyone nodded in agreement including me and I could only lay my head down on the frozen table as I fell back asleep. Velzard looked at me with concern, picked me up and carried me to my old room.
She returned to the room and sat down across from Guy Crimson, "Guy, I think it's time to call it? I think that despite your pride, evens you have to admit it at this point…"
Guy sighed in resignation, "Yeah, evens I can't refute it at this point… Simon is stronger then me."
Truth be told, Guy could've escaped easily at some point, Guy, Dino, Velzard and Simon could've all broke out of there easily. There was just one reason that they all shared that kept them in there, they were curious about the capabilities of drunk Simon… and it was quite amusing.
But seeing the power that Simon just casually released after releasing all restraints was something evens he couldn't comprehend, "Nyx, that power he used? That was chaos magic that you mentioned before, right?"
Nyx nodded at the question, "The power specific to dad."
Evelyn: "Chaos magic? I've never heard of it, is that why everyone calls him the god of chaos?"
Amanises: "Yes and no. You see everyone outside calls him that because of how unpredictable his actions are to the world but the name comes from us, in Eden, who began calling him that because the only ones who know about this power is us."
Evelyn: "Is this because of Chaotrons?"
Nyx: "Y-yeah, how did you know that?"
Evelyn: "He let it slip out one day."
Nyx: "Well to use it requires Chaotrons or Chaos particles."
Velzard looked confused by this information, "If it's a fundamental particle then how have we never heard of it before? Are you guys just on high alert for when it appears in nature and then intercept it?"
Amanises: " Well, it's not exactly a fundamental particle, it's more than it's dad's organic cells."
The room went silent and Evelyn had to dial back alittle, " I'm sorry, what?"
Nyx sighed but expected the shock, " After his last evolution, dad's cells essentially became infinitely malleable and could change it's informational properties into anything it wanted, it became chaotic."
Amanises: " And although dad injected us with his cells to give us access to chaos magic, we can't fully utilize it without suffering big backlash."
Guy looked confused and concerned, "What kinda backlash are we talking about here?"
Amanises: " Chaotrons lay dormant within an individual until they are used and stimulated. When dad's cells are stimulated, they begin to go into a chaotic and unpredictable state that begins to devour the user from the inside out. These ever changing properties is why we call them chaos particles."
Nyx: " As divine beings, we can resist the effects of chaos to a certain extent but the volatility is sometimes too much. They do give really good benefits such as powerful magic and high end regeneration."
Amanises: " There is another benefit that we found out recently. Dad's cells have a bit of his sentience and can sometimes act according to his will so when the user is in danger, the Chaotrons will automatically try to defend the user."
Everyone waited and listened to the two kids explaination and realised they had severely underestimated what Simon can do, evens Velzard who had put him on a pedestal had underestimated him.
" Can I ask, I can't say I would understand what Chaotrons would do but how did Simon pull off such a trick without any consequences?" Guy had a premonition that was basically confirmed but still asked out of a certain fear.
Nyx recognised that fear and warily replied, " Well, because these are quite literally what dad is made of, he can utilize Chaotrons without restrictions, limitations or consequences. He is chaos incarnate and thus isn't affected by it's negative effects."
Guy had expected this but was still in denial of it. Due to the rising influence of Andromeda since the last Walpurgis, Simon's had become the most powerful being in the west, his word alone could destroy the thousands of years of balance that he had so perfectly maintained.
Normally, this wouldn't be that big of a dilemma as he can just beat down the problem but now that problem had shown that they couldn't go down so easily.
After one hundred and fifty years of living in this world, Guy could officially say that Simon was stronger, faster and most dangerously, smarter then he ever will be.
He couldn't overpower Simon, he couldn't outmanuver Simon and if he attempted to devise a strategy to beat him politically and intellectually, it would most likely end with Simon predicting every possible plan that Guy would come up with and him simply using it against Guy.
Knowing just how far his student has come made him afraid, annoyed and extremely proud to have taken him in.
Velzard, who has been Guys partner for millenia, could ultimately guess what was going through his brain, "You do realize that he will never go against your ideals so haphazardly, right?"
"I know, I now have to be more careful when pissing him off… which is hard cause that's like one of my most favourite things to do." Guy said in resignation by the fact that his hobby was now almost ruined.
Despite the resignation in his heart, Guys pride also flared up brightly and for the first time in forever, that pride wasn't for himself, 'You've come so far Simon, I'm so proud of who you've become.'
