"What the hell is he doing?!"
Raiden shouted over the noise, equally stunned by the boss's strange behavior.
We received our answer almost immediately.
Out of nowhere, magic circles began forming around the Knight Commander.
At first, we assumed they were some kind of spells.
But we quickly realized that was not the case at all.
"Those…"
Luna's expression darkened the instant she recognized them, faster than anyone else.
"They're summoning circles…"
And she was right.
Those circles were gateways.
Gateways from which enemies began pouring out.
Dozens of them.
"Hahaha… I was wondering why we didn't run into any knights on our way here…"
A dry laugh escaped my lips as I watched an army take shape before my eyes.
"Turns out they were all here…"
The battlefield was quickly flooded by hordes of Black Knights. Their numbers were staggering, and within mere seconds, I had already counted at least fifty of them.
This was bad.
